Happy New Year!!! This will be my first review to start the year (2018). Pyramid Cafe is a CoolSprings Galleria Restaurant thats in the food court at the mall. Any mall restaurant, I consider fast food and we know how fast food can be at times... I heard allot about this place from co-workers and decided to give it a try! Here is the Harv verdict - Food was excellent. Best gyro I have ever had in my life! The fries were even seasoned just right and they were tasty... Being a mall restaurant, we ate in the mall eating area which was very clean. Only down side NO TV's so I could watch the TN Titans in their playoff game against the KC Chiefs :^0 Had to catch the game on my phone - LOL! Outcome = Titans 22 - Chiefs 21 Go Titans!!! I would highly recommend Pyramid Cafe if you love gyro's. I've eaten gyro's at restaurants from coast to coast and did not know this place was hidden in my backyard (Franklin, TN). Pyramid Cafe gets a 5-star for good food and service; People were super friendly here and gave free samples to potential customers. We have eaten at the Cool Springs location for years, but today was the last time.The chicken was dry and tough, the gyros was bland and the tiny scoop of hummus was flavorless and runny. We should have gotten pizza. read more

First, about the food: it was very cheap. All the meat was chopped into small pieces, and it didn't even compare to the gyros place at Opry Mills. The portions were very small for the price. As for the service, they rushed us and didn't even give us ranch when we asked for it. They were speaking in their language, seemingly mocking customers. The gyro platter is absolutely delicious. I have some food sensitivities (gluten, onions), and they were easily able to adapt my order to leave off those ingredients. They even carefully scooped out the cucumber salad so I didn't have to pick out the onions myself. I've never had a restaurant do that for me. Service with a smile and they offered huge portions. I'll have leftovers that'll taste great. The folks in line at the other food court restaurants don't know what they're missing. I had no trouble finding seating at the food court tables, and I appreciated that Pyramid Cafe offered me a menu flyer to peruse while I stood back from the cash register. I like time to look over what I want to order, especially in a mall. Altogether a great lunch experience. read more

Our gyros had a ton of meat. They tasted fresh and the fry seasoning was really good. BTW- actually had really friendly service as well.

I encouraged my husband to try Pyramids Cafe, since I had read great reviews on Yelp about it... He was hesitant, considering it was a food establishment in the mall...This place did not disappoint... The food was very fresh and yummy... We both had the Gyros... My husband was excited because he can rarely find the shaved beef/lamb for Gyros, and this place had it... He had rice with his, and I had mixed salad (tabouli & cucumber)... I also sampled the Stuffed Grape Leave, which was very good... We will return here many times... We now prefer it over any other Greek restaurant in town. read more

While shopping at Cool Springs, I worked up an appetite. I took a lunch break in the food court, walking a lap past all of the food court kiosks and finally deciding on Pyramids Cafe. Pyramids Cafe offers sandwiches, salads, dinner plates, and Coke beverages. Some items on the menu include Philly steak, chicken, turkey, BBQ, gyros, falafel, tabouli, Greek salad, and more. The staff was toting their Combo Deal which is any 7" sandwich with fries, rice, or salad, and drink for $6.99. However, I decided on the Falafel Plate ($6.99) which was piled with plenty of food including 4 fried/crispy falafel patties topped with a creamy yogurt sauce, rice pilaf, tabouli and warm grilled Syrian bread. The food was pretty good and very filling. The faIafel and rice pilaf had a slightly salty taste and the tabouli was very light and fresh. The grilled Syrian bread was very warm and soft. I did save room for a refreshing healthy smoothie at the Smoothie King kiosk. read more

I've eaten at both the airport and Cool Springs Galleria locations. The shawarma was tasty, although the toppings were not what I'm used to being served elsewhere. I liked the seasoned fries, too. Whenever I'm at the mall or airport, I like to stop by for some baklava. Super delicious! read more

Gyro Plate! I've been here several times while shopping in the mall. I always get the gyro plate. I really need to try other things here but every time I step up to the counter I wind up craving the gyro meat so that's what I order. It comes with rice and salad. I like the cucumber salad. The cucumber sauce they put on the gyro meat is addictive. This entree is delicious. There were a few people in line last time I was here but the line moves pretty fast. Everyone here is friendly and they move very fast to get your food to you quickly. read more

I love Pyramid Cafe. Yes, it's mall food - but it's damn good mall food!!! It is my go to when I am at any mall in Nashville. It's a great healthier option if you leave out the rice and the sauces. I love the cucumber salad mixed with the grilled chicken. It's always busy and I find the staff to be polite and accommodating. It's definitely the best place to eat at the mall by far. Had never tried Greek food before my wife came home talking about this amazing food. Long story short, she convinced me to try the grilled chicken plate...it was everything (and more) she was boasting! Delicious grilled chicken breast, tasty saffron rice, the most AMAZING and fresh tabouli, with choice of sauces...mmmmmm. I like to mix everything and scoop it up with the nice warm pitas that come with the meal. The staff is usually very friendly and act like you are a good friend. Reasons I didn't give it 5 stars: I prefer sit-down service with non-disposable utensils, plates, and cups. But for fast food, it raises the bar. read more

The only Reason why they are getting 1 star is because I had to put one. They said we will give you a discount for coming to eat here. The cashier said $21.58 was our totally and she couldnt get the register to work. A guy comes over and the price magically jumps to $25 dollars what that is bullshit. Like how did it jump and he said oh it was tax she misspoke and sorry sorry. It's ridiculous said we get a discount for eating there and then get a different price jump. It's bullshit the two meals and they can't figure out price. I have been in the food industry for over 15 years and if you can't work the register you shouldn't be on it cook food wrap do something else do not be on register. Will not return to this place they just like scamming people out of there money and it's bull. The food wasn't as good as it was last time we came and the sauce and lettuce was very warm, I can only assume that was before they put on the meat cause it was very warm to the point one member of my party got sick. My family frequents this place often. The staff always remembers us and the food is always excellent. This is a great option if you are eating low carb, just skip the rice and bread. I always order double meat and plenty of tzaziki (if that's how you spell it) and the salad is always fresh. Best place in the food court if you ask me! read more

I normally don't write reviews on fast food type eateries at malls mainly because I try not to eat that much fast food nor do I like to go to malls. My girlfriend and I ate here yesterday for lunch and enjoyed it. They have a good selection of food that is healthier than the other options at the food court. We took advantage of the 2 plates for 2 drinks special for $12.99. My girlfriend ordered a gyros plate while I had the grilled chicken plate. They were both pretty good. The people working there were nice and the service was fast. If you're looking for decent option at the Cool Springs Malls then I would check it out. I also believe it is locally owned and not a chain if that matters as well. read more

This is the BEST gyros joint ever!! I have lived in Nashville, Chicago, DC, and Baltimore and never eaten a gyros as good as I've had at the Pyramid cafe. I really wish they were a chain so I could get it everywhere. I visited TN last week and drove an hour to the mall just to get a gyros sandwich and I wasn't disappointed. Pyramid's good, as most of the reviews agree. But I have been a bit annoyed with them lately: when asked for a cup for water, they charge the full price that they would for a fountain drink -- $1.79. Some fast-food outlets do charge minimally for the cup, usually anywhere from a quarter to 50 cents, and it's understandable considering the thin margins these kinds of shops usually work on. But nearly $2 for water is pushing it. Keep an eye on your receipts. read more

Poor experience on a number of points: (1) the hawker and cashier accosting me as I was looking at the menu. Are there any other mall food courts with hawkers? The guy who owns this place and the adjacent food vendors is seriously tripping. (2) Said cashier tried to upsell me to a combo meal even though I said I only wanted a falafel sandwich. Rang up a combo meal that he hadn't explained ($11 vs $6 for just the sandwich). You're gonna be shady about the price and what it includes? What, is this a used car dealership? (3) The order fulfillment is one guy who doesn't know what he's making other than having the food patron in front of him to repeat his/her order. I didn't want to stand in line (I stood just behind the line, receipt in hand) because I had a baby stroller that took up a lot of space. As a result, I waited for my sandwich for 10 minutes. I finally had to ask the hawker to ask about my order. (4) I was given fries on the house for the delay (I declined the offer for two complimentary baklavas). The fries were undercooked; freezer fries taste better. The falafel was worse - it had close to zero taste. Upon closer examination, the falafel looked like discs (instead of balls), and might have been made hours ago based on their temperature. Ended up going to Chick-Fil-A (which hardly ever disappoints). This place was like the DMV of falafel joints. Hopefully it will get better or close down. read more

I visited this place in December, my gyro was good... Until 3 hours later I discovered I had food poisoning. I came back to eat here in August, because I know the food is good I just hoped that was one unfortunate event. Nope. I got the food virus AGAIN. They don't wear gloves in the back while prepared the food I saw. I'm very sad and sick right now in my bed. I guess if you have a strong gut you have no worries, but for those with a sensitive gut be careful. :( the service is always so nice and they always remembered me because I worked in the mall, but I'm sad to say that I must leave a bad review from the poor hygiene that gave me food poisoning twice. read more
