I had high hopes for Life Eatery With all the misleading social media puffery, but that was clearly overstated in misleading, and the experience was clearly disappointing. With six employees and only six customers in the restaurant, I expected attentive service. Instead, the employee taking my order spoke so quietly (passive, aggressive, unhappy, Gen Zer) that we had to ask him to repeat himself multiple times. Rather than being accommodating, his demeanor came across as passive-aggressive. The food was equally underwhelming. My wrap was fresh, but it was surprisingly bland and lacked flavor. The employee who prepared it was friendly and pleasant, which was one of the few positives. The restaurant itself was also uncomfortable. The air conditioning blower was so loud and forceful that it felt like sitting in a wind tunnel, and the music was turned up so high that it was difficult to carry on a conversation. We order from here a lot at work. It's a great option for something healthy. I usually get one of the Box meals with rice, slaw, protien (chicken usually) and 2 sides. I top it with Boom Boom sauce and honestly, I wish they were more heavy handed with it, as it's good! My only complaint, which one location can't really change since it's a chain, but they need more side options. The only green option is Brussel sprouts which are always burnt. As someone who eats gluten-free and dairy free, CoreLife Eatery is one of the best places in Franklin. The food is healthy and you can get in and get your food quick.. The way you order is similar toChipotle. When I tell them about my allergies, they quickly change out their gloves and offer to, personally take me all the way down the line to the cashier. The most amazing thing here is the steak and the Thai cashew sauce. I usually get a bed of spinach leaves or mixed greens along with rice and all the toppings. We love it.
