Teriyaki Quinoa Bowl, V GF

Very nice place to grab lunch or easy meal. Huge indoor and outdoor patio section located on the corner of a multi complex. The food is really good and tastes fresh. Large menu worth a try. The service was really good; lot of nice folks on the staff.

This place was great, the lunch combo is absolutely worth the price, and our server, Matthew, really took care of us. It's in a great spot across from the mall, and we were in and out. We will definitely be back!

Stopped by on Saturday evening with the family for dinner. Was surprised that it was fairly empty at 6pm on a Saturday, nothing like it used to be. It used to be hoping at the bar, patio and restaurant. We were seated outside and seemed they didn't assign us a waitress. Fortunately one of the wait staff asked if we had been waited on and notified our waitress. We were underwhelmed by the food on this visit. The price has always been on the high end, but used to be really good quality. This time, not so much. Two of the entrees had chicken added, one was chopped salad and the other was the pasta with chicken added. The chicken was dry, almost like it had been cooked earlier in the day, chopped and placed to the side to be added to the entrees. Not freshly made for each entree. Basically same cold dry grilled chicken pieces on each. They advertised the air fried French fries, but were very skimpy on the side of fries with burger and included a good number of overcooked fries too. Almost like I received the end of the basket leftovers. I would suggest sticking with salad side vs $2 up charge for the fries. Overall, it seems that the smaller crowd may be an indication that the quality of food and service has gone down. Unfortunately, we all said this will be our last visit.

I've been to several True Food Kitchen's in various states, it's arguably my favorite chain. As someone who generally steers clear from seed oils, I really value TFK's mission of using whole ingredients and avocado/olive oils in their dishes. I love that the menu is always changing, as I've never ordered a meal I didn't love. I typically order the grain bowl with tofu or chicken added, but today I decided to try one of the summer dishes: the watermelon salad with grilled chicken. It was a pretty good portion for being a starter and the grilled chicken only made the salad more filling. The passion fruit vinaigrette paired delightfully with the avocado mousse. To add an extra flavor kick I asked for jalapeños for a sweet-spicy combo. The staff are always so casual and friendly, making you feel right at home with every visit, wherever you're visiting from. The vibe is casual yet sophisticated and fun. This location was in a little suburban-luxury apartment complex, where it was easy to park and had parking validation. I will definitely be back, and hoping to visit all locations!

Pretty decent food quality for vegetarian centered health food. You can order your proteins including meat. The dishes are well made with balanced flavor- I usually enjoy less salty dishes and this hit the right spot. We also ordered butternut squash pizza- I really enjoyed it. Ambience is super nice. We took outdoor seatings- when weather is good, you'll enjoy outdoor seating more. Service is great but the price is a bit on high side for the ingredients. Would come again for the pizza and the Penang curry bowl.

Soggy fries after waiting 30+ minutes past my order quoted time online. Gross.

Online order was 30 minutes late and customer service was super lacking and inattentive, unfortunately not the first poor experience here which sucks because I used to hold TFK to such a high level of respect, sad days. Sat inside for 30 minutes and had to ask someone where my order was, no one ever even came back up to ask if I was waiting on something. Clearly poorly managed, with poor training, and bottlenecks somewhere in the service line. Overpriced and underserved. Won't be returning. Oh and even better the fries are soggy and undercooked after waiting all that time. Also legit had to ask two separate people to even talk to the manager.

We had the best brunch! Started will shrimp cocktail and butternut squash soup. Entrees were turkey burger and hamburger with seasoned fries. Outstanding menu and drink options. Our server was fantastic. We will be back!

First time back here in probably 6 years or so because I wasn't impressed with the food and the price the first time but I decided to give it another chance after a friend suggested it for lunch. We went Thursday around noon and it wasn't crowded at all. The service was decent but could use a little improvement when it comes to going over specials (I wasn't made aware there was a lunch special and would've loved to get that but oh well). I added chicken to the noodle bowl but honestly it didn't really need it. The mushrooms were hearty and actually my favorite part of the dish. I love potatoes but skip the french fries. They were hard and kind of like chips. The ketchup was unique though. My friend and I spit the bill but my card was swiped twice and I'm still waiting on the adjustment. The server was apologetic and said it was an honest mistake but it's still an inconvenience to me. They only have paid parking in that area now but True Food validates up to two hours. The menu has improved since I visited last but this definitely would not be my go-to.

This is our first time visiting this restaurant, and I am impressed. The service has been pleasant from the moment we walked in. Our server Jess was so sweet and recommended great selections. The food was flavorful! I love spicy food and my curry bowl had a nice mild spice. The open restaurant is nice but it's a little noisy. I will visit here again.

Korean Noodle Bowl
Yewon C.

I don't get why people like this dish. I assume it's called "Korean noodle" because of the glass noodles, and it's supposed to be like Japchae. But all I could taste was salt and a burnt flavor. It was not good at all, and I left all of it. And the fork that was set on the table was dirty.

This place is bright, cheery and clean! Had lunch with a friend as she goes here all the time and said it's one of the best "clean food" places around. I agree! The food was delicious, came out quickly, and there were a variety of choices. We had the butternut Squash soup - and the tuna and grain bowls. Also had to get a chicken tender to try the air fried chicken (it was yummy and sufficiently crispy!). Dessert was lemon sorbet with blueberry compote. Service was on point, friendly, responsive, and attentive. Also love a place where you can get fresh iced green tea! Highly recommend. (FYI - valet parking not available on Wednesday, but they do validate for parking).

I set my expectations too high based on the menu and concept of this place. My wife and daughter had raved about this place, so I decided to try it for lunch while in town for an appointment. The edamame dumpling was plain with limited flavor. The teriyaki quinoa bowl with chicken looked amazing, but the chicken was dry. Our server was relatively new, but did a great job with service. There is ample inside or patio dining to accommodate your preference. I will go back and give it another chance because of my wife's and my daughter's previous experience. Everyone can have an average day.

How do we make reservations?

We used Open Table online.

How is parking here? No more valet?

Valet service is available Friday/Saturdays and for Sunday Brunch. Parking is very available in the four-floor subterranean garage attached to the property. No charge.

Do they have a happy hour like other True Food locations?

Happy Hour is finally here! Mondays thru Fridays, 3pm-6pm. Excellent deals on both food and drink -- might I recommend a Peach Mojito and Grilled Cheese Dipper pairing, both coming in at a stellar $8 HH pricing ea.

Special hours on the weekend ? What does that mean?

Normally the restaurant closes at 9pm, but on Friday's and Saturdays they're open until 10pm!

Do they also serve the full menu during weekend brunch hours or only the brunch menu?

I went during brunch hours & they served the full menu. Enjoy!

Is there free parking? Where is the best place to park?

As stated above, there is "free" valet parking. However, if you choose to forego the obligatory payment upon that free service, you my use the free public garage at the… Read more

We walked in on a Saturday around 5:30 and grabbed two seats at the bar without any trouble. They also have seating outside if the weather is nice. The bartenders were fantastic, attentive, engaging, and the kind of people who make you feel like a regular even if it's your first time there. They also have a really solid Happy Hour, which is always a good way to start the evening. I kicked things off with an Old Fashioned, and it was very well done. When it came time to order, I asked the bartender about the Rib Rolls. His exact recommendation was basically, "I get them all the time... they are soooo good." He paired that suggestion with the loaded baked potato, and at that point I was completely sold. I also added a wedge salad, which was fresh and delicious. My wife ordered the steak with crab, mashed potatoes and asparagus, and she really enjoyed it. But if we're keeping score between our two plates... I'm calling it: mine won. Now here's the important advice, save room for dessert. Unfortunately, my wife didn't. But I powered through and ordered the Health Bar Pie. And wow... Dang! That thing alone might be worth the visit. If you're in Green Hills and looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle for a bit, this spot is definitely worth checking out. Great food, great service, and a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to come back again.

Everyone is so kind from the moment you walk in the door. The servers are attentive and make great recommendations. The food arrives quickly. Portions are generous!
