I came on a Friday, and my ordering process was super smooth because the cookies were hot and ready out of the oven. The staff were friendly, and I especially appreciated the bright and spacious dining room. They also have free parking in the back, which is a rare find in this area. Their claim is because it's dirty, which it is, and so is everything else, including humans... but it's also money- and how people pay for things- and how the world turns, etc etc . I really wish I had this salad spot where I live in Jacksonville, FL. Fresh salads, tons of variety, and reasonable prices. 5 star lunch for me! I normally would do a build your own bowl, but they're menu bowls sounded amazing. I went with the "alotta burrata" : burrata, arugula, roasted broccoli, marinated beets, and toasted almond with balsamic vinaigarette. I did add shrimp for some protein. They quickly chopped it all up and opened a full ball of burrata on top and drizzled it with some olive oil. YUM! I also had a really sweet and gooey chocolate chip cookie from here. Balance! I enjoyed my huge salad and cookie and my coworkers liked their orders too. This filled me up for the day without being too heavy. The bathroom was also spotless and had hand towels. If I lived near Greenery, I would probably eat here everyday. Even now, I'm plotting my next visit to the neighborhood so I can stop in for a deliciously fresh salad. I met a friend for lunch on a Monday afternoon, and was lucky enough to snag some of the free parking directly behind the restaurant. There was a short line to order, but it moved quickly! I decided to go with one of their special, seasonal offerings - the Butternut Miso Bowl. I swapped the broccoli for some brussels sprouts (which was an upcharge, but well worth it!) All of the ingredients were flavorful and crisp, and the curry miso dressing had a nice spice and tanginess to it. The chicken was perfectly roasted and still moist - which says a lot, since many restaurants with a similar concept consistently serve chicken on the drier side. The restaurant was busy during its lunch rush, but with lots of spread out seating available, it didn't feel crowded at all. We snagged a couple of their cookies for the road ... which may very well be the best cookie I've had in Nashville! Not much is better than a perfectly made chocolate chip cookie - and Greenery Co is baking theirs artfully. I'll happily be returning to Greenery as soon as possible ... and will definitely be bringing friends and family here when they're in town for a healthy and tasty lunch! read more

Looking for a fresh, healthy option -- glad we took a colleague's recommendation! I got the strawberries + champagne (with chicken), and my husband got the Tennessee Thai. Both were delicious! I was pleasantly surprised by the portions of chicken, cheese, and strawberries; the roasted chicken was warm and moist -- no sad, dry chicken breasts here. The best salads i've had. the burrata is so good it's crazy. the cookie is a 10/10 on my list. they use the thin chocolate chips so it creates the layers of chocolate and cookie. i tried it like a year ago and gave it a 6/10 bc it has perfect textures but i didn't like the milk chocolate they used. now they've switched to a delicious dark chocolate and 20% caramelly milk chocolate. but it's mainly dark and now it's AMAZING!! gooey center with so much flavor and crisp outside. I'm pretty upset at myself. I've known about Greenery for quite some time, but have avoided it because of the price tag for what I assumed might be a mediocre salad. Hoping to clean up my diet a little, I finally stopped by Greenery and was very impressed. Although I had heard great things about Greenery, because of my above pre-conceived beliefs, I had already made up my mind that Greenery could not be higher than a 4 star rating. I came in during the rush hour for lunch, so the line was quite long (but moved quickly). I was impressed by the number of individuals dining in- several tables were occupied. The decor was great with a white interior that brought with it a sense of calmness. As I stood in line, I went back and forth on what to order. I ultimately decided to build my own salad which was a tricky task given I had never ordered from Greenery before. Each salad comes with upto 2 bases, 4 toppings, choice of meat (optional and extra charge), and 2 dressings. There are additional components you can add, such as avocado and cheese, that cost extra. I highly recommend simply pulling up the menu on your phone to make it easier to order the different components. My salad, which cost $15, consisted of the following: Base: wild rice and spring mix Toppings: almonds, crunchy chickpeas, pickled onions, chili cauliflower Dressings: Honey chipotle, jalapeno dijon (I opted for a "medium" amount of dressing) Meat: Crispy chicken I took the food to go and Greenery had utensils, napkins, and paper bags to use. When I finally sat down to eat the salad, I was amazed at how much food I had just gotten. I opened the lid and my mouth began watering. Such an amazing, savory smell. After the first bite, I knew this would be a 5 for me. The ingredients were fresh and paired really well with each other. The chicken was cooked perfectly. 4.5 This is a *very* Hillsboro Village eatery. I don't mean that as an insult at all. I mean that as a descriptor. If you want to eat in Hillsboro Village, Greenery is what you have in mind (even if you don't know that you have it in mind). To the surprise of no one, during my time in and out, there was a steady drumbeat of customers. The secret is out but, I think, everyone is fine with sharing. Running errands in late spring it dawned on me that if I had Nashville to do over again, I'd probably look to buy in the Belmont-Hillsboro area. That might not be fair, as I moved here with different interests. But, to my estimation, BH is about as dense as you get in Nashville (with social options) without being overrun by so many of the things that led to Mayor O'Connell to implore that he 'want[ed us] to stay.' What does this have to do with Greenery? Having a spot like this in one's backyard is extra incentive to stay. After wrestling with parking (as one does in HV), I made my way into exactly what I was expecting: set design from Taylor Swift's 'Willow' video. This'll do. So, what does one order when running through a carnival in the woods? A salad. One orders a salad. I ordered the Greenhouse Chopped. It's a process. You start with a base and then it gets bigger and better with every question ('you want this? You want that?'). The salad is a triumph of chicken, purple cabbage, romaine lettuce, carrots, roasted broccoli, chili cauliflower, cucumber, and cherry tomatoes. And, to top it off, is an addictive yogurt ranch. This gets mixed, tossed and chopped. Once the finished product is in the bowl, you'll have to flex a bit to carry it. The salad isn't cheap but it's not small. At all. You get your money's worth. All the while I received engaged (for what it is) conversation and smiles. I felt appreciated as a customer. That appreciation (and Taylor's magic lasso) convinced me to order a triple chocolate chip cookie. Again, not cheap. Again, not small. After devouring the salad, I only had a piece of the cookie. I could have eaten it all but good things are meant to be savored. This was the best lunch that I had enjoyed in quite a while. read more

I was undecided on what I wanted so I opted to build my own salad with kale, carrots, tomatoes, pumpkin seeds, cucumbers and bacon tossed in balsamic vinaigrette dressing. She did allow me to try the jalapeño Dijon dressing which was also good. They will ask how much dressing you want so be mindful of that. I did "medium" but next time will do light dressing. A very posh salad bowl restaurant near Vanderbilt. I wasn't thrilled with their premade bowl options, but customization sounded good. They charged extra to add a protein, but carrot falafel sounded well worth it, and then I didn't have to pick carrots for one of my salad vegetables. The options were impressive, with multiple greens as well as wild rice or quinoa, and my radishes being of a pleasing watermelon color. I stayed right across the street on my recent visit to Nashville and knew Greenery was on my must-try list. First of all, I was convinced this had to be a chain. The picturesque decor, the menu, the ambiance - SO coordinated, thoughtful, and well-executed. Not sure if expansion is in the biz plan, but I think Rochester, NY is the OBVIOUS next move for this amazing healthy eats spot ;) I loved the menu and appreciated some fiber and vegetables in my life, even after only being in a city that prides itself on BBQ for a few days. Healthy eats are hard to come by. My pesto salad bowl was flawless! I wanted to take home a VAT of the roasted broccoli and loved the free herbs in the dressing, which I got on the side. Frankly the salad itself was amazing even before adding any dressing. I also appreciate that my team member asked if I'd like my bowl chopped. YES! When I make salads at home I use scissors and make everything super bite sized/easy to eat. I wish I could have Greenery for lunch right now. I want to try the whole menu and, while I don't know if I'll find myself in Nashville again soon, I know I'll be trying to recreate that bowl at home. Great spot to work and enjoy some grub. Service is very friendly and it's very clean and nice inside. Food is absolutely delicious, but the prices are a total scam. They intentionally hide the prices of things on their menu and upcharge for half the toppings. Proteins are an added charge of 6 or 7 dollars, and you get about a quarter-cup serving size. I heard about Greenery & Co. from their amazing publicist, and I've been following their social media avidly for a week, anticipating their soft open. Yesterday I ordered the Tennessee Thai salad for pickup. It was ready faster than quoted, the employee who greeted me at the door was super friendly, and oh my, the FLAVOR. I'm a known salad lover, and I go nuts for any restaurant with good selections (see also: Little Fib). Since that's half of what Greenery does--the other half being warm bowls--my expectations were high. And they were met! The dressing was very flavorful; I ordered my salad with a medium amount tossed in, and it was just the right amount. There was a little bit of spice to it, but what impressed me most was the amount of fresh basil. The portion was quite large, so I thought I might have some to save for later, but once I tasted the first bite I had to wolf the rest of it down. Greenery & Co. is the first new place I've tried since before the pandemic, and I'm so glad I did. I think I'll be a regular here for my lunchtime fix. read more
