This is a fast casual breakfast chain that was right around the corner from our hotel in Nashville. They have an extensive menu that had something for everyone. Order at the counter and they give you a number and then bring your food to the table. Drinks are self-service, you get your cup then walk to the back to get your drink. They also have some special drinks in the cooler up front. Our meals were all tasty. I had the farmhouse bowl with potatoes, avocado, bacon, and two eggs on top. The waffle and the pancakes were also big hits. The service was just ok, different people brought our stuff and it was at all different times for our table of six. We had two of the farmhouse bowls with slightly different orders - I wanted my eggs over medium and my stepdaughter wanted hers over easy with no tomatoes, and the people who brought it had no idea which one was which. Remember to order everything because I'm not sure how you order any other items after you sit down. The servers bring you food but I don't think they take orders. Beverages are self service. You will get a cup once you purchase drink. It's quite big inside. But again, very popular. We were lucky to get a table. The food is good. We picked this place for Sunday brunch in downtown Nashville area. It is in the Vanderbilt Uni campus, so we saw lots of students, some with their families at the restaurant. They have free parking spots in the plaza, but with only an hour limits. The restaurant is very spacious, mostly clean. Guests walk in at the register first to put their order, then they go to the table. I liked this efficient system, as they get to start preparing the order right away. Despite this process, it took them more than 30 minutes to bring our order out, that was so surprising. I got the roast beef sandwich that was decent. The salad that came it was actually better than the sandwich. The pancakes and scrambled eggs omelette were okay dishes as well. This is my second time eating here and I think this is my new favorite healthier places to grab a quick bite to eat. The variety here is great and I love their bowl specialties. I'm guessing they treat their employees well because in the span of several months, I recognized at least one employee from my first visit. I walked in and was immediately greeted by one of the employees, having came in to pick up my mobile order. They were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. It seems to be a great place to eat with family, with a welcoming atmosphere. It looks great on the inside too, with plenty of space to navigate and relax. Came to sun and fork yesterday for a late brunch. I'm definitely a "sweet" breakfast person over savory, so if you're like me this place isn't really for you. I got the blueberry pancakes and my mom got the carnitas rancheros with scrambled eggs. My pancakes didn't have that many blueberries, the syrup was just ok, and overall, the pancakes didn't wow me at all. Also, I don't like chocolate and didn't request any in my pancakes but find some chocolate chips anyways. The compote on the side was good though. My mom enjoyed her bowl and said the grains were cheesy and the serving size was definitely a bonus because it was very filling. I have been here on several occasions and decide to stop in for lunch recently. Today's choice was the market veggie sandwich. I love a good vegetarian dish and this sandwich didn't disappoint. The mushroom and zucchini were cooked to perfection. The fresh spinach added a nice crunch. The bread was really good and the grains and seeds in the bread added a nice, nutty flavor to the sandwich. I substituted soup for the mixed greens. Today's flavor was Italian Wedding Soup. To me, the soup was a little on the spicy side, but I'm not a fan of spicy foods so my tolerance for spice is pretty low. If you want something different, try the so cal breakfast burrito. The grain bowls are also pretty good and so are their multigrain pancakes. The staff is always friendly and this time was no different.
