The food was decent, and everyone in my family enjoyed the different bowls we ordered. However, the experience could have been much better. The restaurant seemed disorganized, and several items were unavailable when we visited. The portions of meat were quite small, especially considering the price of the bowls. It felt like there was a strong emphasis on charging extra for many of the additions, which made the meal feel less worthwhile. I understand that portion sizes need to be consistent, but I think there should be a little more flexibility with the amount of meat provided. The food has potential, and with better organization, more reasonable portions, and fewer upcharges, the experience would be much more satisfying. read more

I stopped by the CAVA near Music Row after a long day at a summit at the Omni Hotel. I'd walked fifteen minutes in drizzle and rain - only to find out the Assembly Food Hall had closed at ten (boo!). Thankfully, CAVA was still open, and Scarlett, Maher, and Andrew absolutely made my night. They put together a mean pita just before closing - the chicken was fresh, spicy, and flavorful, the hummus and tzatziki were on point, and the pickled tomatoes and onions were just right. Add in crispy pita chips and a refreshing cucumber mint drink, and it was perfection. Everyone was so kind, gracious, and fun to talk to. They turned a soggy walk into one of my favorite memories of Nashville. Give these folks a raise - they're awesome! read more

When you want high quality, healthy, and quick, nobody does it better than Cava. You can order ahead, but I suggest ordering in the restaurant for your first few visits. You get to curate your entire meal, so it's important to know what you like before using the order ahead feature. I'm crazy over the harissa flavor and really love their falafel. Where else can you get an entire salad of arugula?! The drink options are mainly juices, but they do have bottled options, as well. You just can't beat fresh, healthy food in a fast casual setting! CAVA seems to be getting more and more popular, and I can see why. This location is super convenient if you live or work downtown, but I'd typically opt to eat somewhere else if I had to pay for parking just to pick up a bowl. That said, you can order delivery from this location. I will caution that delivery orders don't typically include the free side of pita you get in-person, so you will need to physically add an extra pita to your order. On my most recent visit, I was at Assembly Food Hall with a large group, and decided this was my chance to walk over and enjoy a Greens & Grains bowl. This was a Friday afternoon, and I was surprised to find no wait! I love that you can either build your own bowl or choose from one of their pre-crafted offerings. So far, I've enjoyed everything I've eaten from CAVA, but my go-to is anything that's topped in the Crazy Feta dip. I also highly recommend a side of the pita chips. These are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside - making them the perfect vehicle to dip in your bowl. There is a dining room at this location, but we opted to take our food back over to Assembly Food Hall to re-join our group. I rarely give a low rating. However, it was all in the staff. The owner really needs to retrain this staff including the manager. Normally, when the manager is not professional neither is the staff bc they follow by example. Bad leadership On 7/3/23 about 7 pm I bought a salad w/ spicy lamb meatballs but I wasn't sure what came w/ my order so I asked the black girl w/ braids it was attitude from start to finish. She was even rude to a local lady ifo me. Wow! The girl ring me up & she left. She knew I was Tourist but as I stood there waiting for a bag she moved onto the next customer. I finally turned around & saw bags so I took one & bagged my own food. You would think they're giving free food w/ the attitude. I would've went elsewhere had I known the staff would be so nasty. If you don't like your job quit, SIMPLE. Owners don't realize the money they lose is not from no business. It's bc the staff runs business away w/ their nasty attitude. The manager there was no better, earlier, I bought a water & ginger beer & the 1st girl didn't seem to understand English. Nice location in downtown Nashville on Broadway. Clean space, we walked kn for dinner. I ordered a balsamic date chicken salad bowl. Had a small portion of greens, rice, sweet potato, grilled chicken, corn and a sweet balsamic dressing, something different instead of having fried chicken or ribs in Nashville. The staff was very stiff and robotic- they need to be a bit more warm towards customers. When we walked in at 7pm, they had just washed the floors and puddles of water were all over the dinning room, i saw the wet floor signs but ladies coming in with heels or shoes-will definitely slip. Maybe the e management should pay attention to the little details that are of importance. The food reminded me of Chipotle, except the proteins have a middle eastern seasoning. read more

The visit was a good experience. There were not a lot of people when we got so we were Helped right away. They have different mixed bowls and different ingredients. You can make your own bowl or you can choose a one that it's already predesigned. We chose one that it was already fixed to give The best of the flavor. We've got the black lentil with falafel and the greens. It also had hummus and the harissa with some pickled red cabbage. It was a great delicious combination. They put some corn in there that it was not supposed to be on that recipe of this bowl because the worker mixed up the recipe cards that travel with the order. I told him that he didn't have to worry about it because we love the corn too. We also bought the sparkling flavor water from the fridge. The price was very affordable. The place looked kind of messy. Like it was already late and a lot of people ate there. But it was still early. Maybe a little bit of cleaning in the mid day would make the place look more welcoming. I would go back only that it's out of my way. I don't think I am going back to Nashville any time soon. read more

This Cava is located right in the heart of the 5th + Broadway area and was a great place to stop for a quick, healthy meal in the middle of a busy day in downtown Nashville. Everyone working there was so friendly and helpful. There was plenty of seating inside and some open tables outside as well. The bowls were fresh and delicious! I love all the options at Cava and have never been disappointed; this experience was no different. Some of my personal favorite toppings include the honey harissa chicken, the crazy feta sauce, the falafel, the crispy pita strips, and the yogurt dill dressing, but I try to mix it up every time I go since there are so many options. This is one of the worst restaurants in Nashville. There was a cook eating on the line, there was a grill cook talking on the phone while cooking and neither washed their hands.
