Their bottled drinks were flat ( yes bottled drinks flat obviously outdated) . Smells like mold, old food, and 1 million cigarettes being smoked. I ordered chicken and lamb gyro, and received pre packaged fajita meat warmed up served as lamb with peppers and onions . The green peppers were crunchy and the rice was not fully cooked. The food was made so quick ( literally came out in under 3 min). I'm sure that it came out the microwave as much steam came off the food . I was just trying to go and get alone time with my wife with late night eats , and was disappointed. We were satisfied with the hookah (wasn't the best though but it would do) , but the place and atmosphere made us feel like we were in filth and uncomfortable. Tried to give a shot with food and was highly disappointed . Would not recommend as the place is sketchy looking , no good communication, as well as homeless and drug addict ppl loitering in parking lot. Definitely won't be back a waste of money!

After reading all the reviews here I wanted to make a site visit and see for myself. Most of the…read morenegative reviews reflect on their delivery. I also wanted to dispel a lot of what people are saying, I deliver for uber eats and I got a pickup from here, so it in fact isn't the employees delivering the food, its legit uber eats and door dash etc. They have a big shelf for delivery drivers and I witnessed several drivers come in and collect orders. Saying that I walked in and it was dead quiet. The decor was nice, like someone actually spent time to decorate the place in an Egyptian theme. Finally was acknowledged after a few minutes and asked if I could sit inside and eat inside. The guy said I could. Gave me a menu and seated me. I ordered the kofta plate. with a water. About 15 minutes later a second guy gets a water bottle out of the cooler and places it down. (I later found out, he said because of covid, they can't have fountain drinks and also no silverware but disposable silverware.) I was the only person eating in there and the only other people I saw were to go orders and delivery drivers. The food took a semi long time to come out. About 25 minutes. The price was very good. The food was fresh I could tell. One complaint I have was the koftas were dry and charred. I am used to tender koftas. These had some crunch to them. I used the cucumber sauce to soften them up. Another complaint I would say is, the rice was bland, I would have loved for some hot sauce or maybe some Sumac to put on the whole dish. I doused the entire thing with the two ramekins of cucumber sauce, and it really improved the flavor. Staff were nice and the food was freshly made to order, so no problems there. Just -the wait times and the kofta doneness was the only real issue. Also the menu said "one pound of beef" which, when I first read it, gave me pause and I thought to myself "I can't eat one pound of beef" and when it came out it was more like 1/4 pound. Speaking of pounds - they had a promotional poster at the entrance and it was advertising specials in GBP and not USD lol I hated to see all these people complaining on here about this place when it was third party delivery drivers and not the fault of the restaurant. I wanted to see for myself. I do vote this place higher than the other local spot called Sam's Kabob Gyro.

When I called Management to let them know, I was told it was nothing he could do now since the order was placed 11 hours ago. The order was placed during lunchtime (11:30 am) and I called to let management know at 9 pm. This is not 11 hours. However GOOD customer service would be to remake the mistaken order but I was Met with hostility. I would never say anything Bad about a business but customer service is #1 in my book and this establishment doesn't come near a 10.

Everything is meant to be share style on the menu, and so we opted to do a few starting dips with pita bread as well as some salads and two main dishes. The pita bread was honestly the highlight of my night! It was made fresh and it was so simple, but so delectable on its own, even without the hummus, which was also delicious. I think this is one of the best places you can go for good appetizers. I felt that the meat was good, but not as stand out as the hummus and the asparagus salad. I would love to come back for the pita bread alone. The service was exceptional, with an attentive and friendly staff.

Decided to give it another try and probably won't go back. I think I'll give 4 stars because it's probably some people's favorite place but I'd probably rank it lower. Was good but honestly boring. I can get the same meal but better up the street on Gallatin with more decor, great staff, and more reasonable prices. It was pretty slow even with only a few tables taken on a week night. The explanation of the menu items wasn't clear even after asking (I don't think the staff member was fully knowledgeable on the ingredients) so we just picked what sounded okay and went with it.

I can't speak to the authenticity of the Turkish cuisine here, but I can speak to the food quality. Starting off is a beautiful focaccia loaf with a mix of light spices and olive oil. It's odd to say bread is relaxing and refreshing but here it is. The hummus is quite the same, lightly spiced but bright and refreshing. The ezme is interesting. To me it resembles a Turkish version of chips and salsa, very tomato forward but lightly spiced. Only complaint of the meal for me was the lamb kabobs. I am notorious for over seasoning things, and that is simply how my palette is. The lamb was cooked perfectly, not dried out and moist, however I would've liked a little more seasoning. The Billur kabob has been a repeat favorite of mine over the years. The combination of sautéed eggplant, pashamal sauce and onions/peppers/mushrooms creates an explosion of varying textures and tastes. Everything sort of melds together perfectly once it's cooked on the stone oven and becomes a cohesive entree better than the sum of its parts. The servers are always very attentive, respectful and knowledgeable about the menu. When I first started coming here they always had fantastic recommendations. All in all this has been and continues to be a delicious meal no matter what I have ordered here.
