The staff here were friendly enough and the ambiance is definitely more fast-food than fine dining, but fast-food is ultimately what it is. I went with a gyro. Met a friend here for dinner and was so impressed with how nice the worker was. This poor guy dealt a lot of stupid questions from people in the time we were there. He somehow was able to calmly answer them and assist. I personally would not have been able to be as nice to them. Anyway, the food was all made to order so it was hot and not just thrown together after just sitting around. While I didn't try the baklava, it looked so good and they make it in house. Go give this place a try and be nice, don't ask dumb questions to the nice workers!! read more

As a first timer at this location I was pleased overall. The chicken was well seasoned and hot. Definitely left me with that comfort food feeling. I could tell it was freshly prepared for the lunch hour. There was a good amount of foot traffic but no one ate in store although it was a very clean location. It did take a while for our turn to order even though there were only two people ahead of us. The drink selection is kind of limited and they offered bottled drinks as well. The man behind the counter had an " all about business" temperament. Not rude but not conversational if that makes sense. This place is one of the best for gyros! We got the lamb gyro combos and an order of hummus. Our best friends are from Jordan and makes the best hummus we have ever had and this is probably the closest we have found to the authentic taste and style. The owner is fantastic. Nashville Gyro shops must be in competition to see how much they can cram into one pita. I got the mixed gyro with both chicken and beef. I swear the guy put a full serving of each. It was very tasty, well seasoned, and I loved all the extras it came with. Excellent job. I also got tabbouleh. Even though it was the end of the day, the flavors were still fresh. Two TVs were playing belly dancing videos. One had a competition, and the other had a more artsy one, like a music video. That was fun. I was the only customer the entire time I was there. The customer service was absolutely horrible!! It was 700 pm and I was only person in the facility and he was very rude short and jus half giving me what I asked for. I asked to melt my cold shredded cheese on there after and he refused and wanted to disagree about it, didn't give me my bread napkins or silverware and charged me full price. If you love delicious Greek/Mediterranean style food at an affordable price, this is the place for you. The owners are very nice, as are all the employees. Their lunch platters and specials are incredible and for about $6 you will receive a very large serving of kebab, gyros, or something else. The most delicious gyro I've found outside of Greece, and their falafels and baklava are very good as well. Great for a quick bite to eat on your lunch hour, your order is made in front of you similar to a Moe's or Baja Burrito. Never too busy either so you won't have to wait for a long time. read more

This is plenty of food for lunch followed by a food coma afterwards. It's good mediterranean food, solid, nothing to write home about, but definitely worth coming. When he asked if I wanted "cucumber or ranch", I thought he meant cucumbers, not the cucumber dressing. Had I known that, I wouldn't have asked for ranch. I ordered the chicken and lamb combo. It comes with rice, lettuce, pita, halepeno peppers, tomatoes, american shredded cheese and a ranch or yogurt sauce. It was a very large meal. The chicken and lamb were seasoned well. I liked the meal. We sat and ate our meal and would suggest they spruce up the eating area. The tea and lemonade tasted good but the area below the spout that captured any excess drink looked disgusting like a cesspool. I would come back but probably do takeout. read more

Not a bad gyro spot. The store is run by Coptics from Egypt similar to the Coptics who run all the Pyramid's Cafe. If you want the best gyro the Nashville Pyramids Cafe chain is the best, and I judge all others by them. The Kabob Gyro's meat was good and the items for selection were fresh. I don't like my gyros in pita pockets but this was not bad either. Although, I would still prefer a wrap. I've eaten at this spot a few times, and i've been a big fan of Kabob Gyros ever since. They also have a location on Nolensville Rd. where i got to know the folks that run the place, and every time i go into either location, i'm greeted very warmly. I usually get the combo platter which includes gyro meat, chicken, rice and tabouli salad. And it's excellent. The Gyro are great too filled with delicious meat, rice, greek veg, and of course a mound of either ranch or a nice tzatziki sauce. For around $7 for the platter and about $6 for the gyro combo you're sure get your money's worth. read more
