On 01/26/26 at approximately 4:42 PM, during a multi-day power outage and severe winter conditions, I waited in a long line at this CAVA location, one of the only places open, to purchase food for my family before relocating us to a hotel due to the cold. When I reached the register and attempted to order five bowls, all the same, the cashier, a black, slender man with a nose ring whose name badge read Tai, told me in a questioning and dismissive tone that I "couldn't order five bowls in line." There were no posted signs, no stated policy, and no prior indication that this was not allowed. He looked to another employee for validation, received none, yet continued to mutter under his breath and shake his head while preparing the order. He created a very uncomfortable and shaming experience on an already horrible day, given the emergency circumstances I was dealing with. I came to CAVA to simply feed my family. At the very least, I am requesting that management review this interaction, identify the correct employee who harassed me at that time, and take appropriate action, whether through additional training or disciplinary review, to ensure customers are treated with basic human respect, especially during emergencies. read more

I love stopping by this CAVA location for a quick and healthy meal whenever I'm in the area! When I stop in on a weeknight, I've never had to wait more than a few minutes to place my order. The team here is fast and friendly, and the food always looks and tastes fresh. As this location is practically on Vanderbilt's campus, you do have to pay for parking. However, I've always managed to find a street spot that's less than $2 for 15 minutes, which is plenty of time to run in and build your bowl. I switch up my order everytime, but recently I've been loving the new chicken shawarma. And of course, no bowl is complete without as much Crazy Feta dip as they'll give me. I'd love to see a CAVA location on the East side of town someday, although my wallet might not agree with me! read more

Cava always hits the spot. I love stopping by for a quick healthy meal. Service is usually quick. Its like a Mediterranean Chipotle. You make a bowl and pick your ingredients. Not too loud of a place to dine in. They are usually playing music. I recommend those to try Cava if you have never been. read more

Everything wrong, bad, or missing. I come to Cava all the time but this was my first Uber Eats order. When it arrived I tried my Strawberry Citrus drink and it was sour as in went bad sitting out. I've melted when it was only a 10 min order and just overall tasted not safe to drink. I payed for a full pita and only got 2 side pitas. Now my bowl...missing about every single topping. I got double dressing and pita crisps and that came on it but I am missing cucumber + tomato, persian cucumber, feta, pickled onion, and the avocado i payed extra for. Luckily Doordash was able to refund me in full. However considering much of Cava is mainly the toppings I am genuinely appalled since all the toppings are listed on the bag and receipt. If I forgot to add something I completrly understand but it's listed multiple places. I work in food service similar to Cava (Grain and Berry) and understand things get forgotten but not every. single. topping. I normally don't rate doordash orders either but this is crazy. I'm really struggling here between three and four stars as I've been to cava before in Dallas and I think the taste is excellent, but I was extremely disappointed on this visit as the portion size was half of what I've had ata different location. I ordered a base of the black lentils and fresh spinach, and it didn't even cover the bottom of the bowl. You add on the other ingredients as you can see from my picture it's still very lacking. They are currently out of romaine so I got the basmati rice and greens with kale, cabbage, and broccoli stems. Not a good substitute. The regular grilled Harissa Chicken Bowlchicken was about out, so I got the harissa honey chicken instead. It was a little spicy and not much sweet. Not worth the upcharge. Eggplant dip and hummus are a must as well as the roasted white sweet potatoes. They were also out of crispy pita topping. Balsamic date vinaigrette and pickled onions add a good balance of sweetness. Don't skip the cucumber mint lime juice. That one was pretty sweet. Food is great! Cava is one of my favorite fast casual spots. It is basically a Mediterranean version of Chipotle with build your own bowl and build your own pita options. You can also go half and half on the base and/or the protein which is perfect if you are indecisive like me. The location is super convenient since it is very close to Vanderbilt's campus and the hospital. There are also several other quick places to eat down the road in case the line is too long. Every time I walk by, Cava always seems very busy but the line moves fast. HOWEVER, I agree with many other Yelpers. The service is awful. All the workers seemed so unhappy to be there. I ordered my bowl online for pick up and when I asked the cashier for my side of pita she literally looked at me, rolled her eyes and then handed me a bag of pita without a word. I usually have pretty fond feelings towards Cava, but this one is incredibly disorganized. I ordered about 20 minutes ahead for two bowls on a Friday before 11am. When I arrived there, it was absolute madness and bedlam. I waited by the pickup area for over 30 minutes past the time they said my items would be ready, even taking a substitution in protein so I wouldn't miss my next meeting. While the management was kind and even gave us free drinks for the lengthy delay, it was not a great experience. With the free beverage, they forgot to reload a few of the sodas, causing a trickle of flavorless soda water into many people's cups. The staff was made aware, but they didn't fix the issue in the time I was there. It's definitely a management issue when people waiting in line are getting their bowls faster than those who ordered ahead for pickup. I was one of many frustrated customers, and I really wanted to like this location given its convenience to my workplace. Quite a disappointment. I would say try to order here not at peak hours on a Friday. read more

I really like this restaurant. It's like a fast food Mediterranean joint. However this location is not the best lol. I prefer the green hills location. But this one has outdoor seating. I got some type of honey chicken and boy I tell you what it was seasoned and good! And then there was some type of eggplant sauce I got, om to the freaking G that sauce is so good! I don't like hummus so I didn't get it. I didn't get those sauces they put on top of it at the end. It was just too many sauces. Because I also had a scoop of tzatziki sauce, cabbage, cherry tomatoes halves, corn on brown rice. The other times I went I just had vegetables with no meat. The third time I had to braise the lamb.
