This is the worst of the three metro-nashville locations. EVERY TIME (I wish this was an exaggeration) they are missing something on the line. I would understand this if they try to compensate for the lack of items, but unfortunately if they're missing what you want and you don't know until you get to the end of the line ... they do nothing to help or reconcile the situation. They NEVER offer the side pita - you always have to ask for it and you'll probably catch attitude from the workers for even asking. The workers are rude, messy, and unprofessional - service is always frustrating. Today, they did not confirm what was in my bowl & I'm almost positive that I was charged for something that I didn't get because my bowl is normally ~$12 and today it was $15, but the cashier literally just rang me up and walked away. The list goes on... If you can, go to the Green Hills or Broadway location because this one is eternally disappointing. read more

OK, so the food IS delicious.... fresh and tangy and unusual flavors which I knew to expect since this is a chain. Also the store is very clean. However I agree with other yelpers who talked about the staff being dismissive. I was the only customer at 3:30 on a Monday afternoon and I also told them it was my first time, how excited I was to be there, etc. and still I felt rushed through with no opportunities to ask questions or be offered recommendations. I asked the cashier "oh, I love feta, what is the side of crazy feta?' And was told nothing more than 'it's a sauce ‍' Also, the offerings of compliments/condiments is pretty poor.... No salt and pepper, no sweetener for ice tea, etc. are available. I knew I was going to love CAVA, based on hearing friends talk about it and because I love Mediterranean food! I just don't necessarily love this particular CAVA. That's too bad and I hope they make some changes. read more

If I could give this place a negative star review, I would. Food is great, but not worth the garbage service you have to endure. It's like pulling teeth trying to communicate with the employees. If they are out of an food option they don't bother making more. I have never been so uncomfortable ordering at a "fast food" restaurant. This location was a huge letdown. Treated myself to my favorite greens/grains bowl before heading to a concert at Bridgestone and I quite literally threw $17 in the garbage. The staff appeared to be bothered by customers in front of them as they prioritized online pick-up orders. The ingredients were a mess and looked like they had been sitting out for quite some time. My brown rice was crunchy! Had I not been in a hurry and not made to feel like my presence was unwanted, I would have asked for it to be remade. Something about the food here makes me feel sick an hour after eating. This has happened twice out of the three times I've dined at Cava. Last time I ordered online, I waited 30 minutes for my pick up time. When I arrived they hadn't started my order and I had to wait in the store an additional 20 minutes. I dont have food allergies, but the meat is really greasy. The ambience is poor, feels like a Taco Bell inside. I wish I I liked this place, but I don't recommend. read more

I went for a bowl and they filled it with my grains and greens before alerting me that they were out of everything except meatballs and falafel. I asked for lamb meatballs and they put ONE on my dish and were like oh we're out that was the last one. I was like okay... (did not have either chicken option or veggies either) and then proceeded with normal meatballs which I don't like and I wouldn't have gotten the bowl if I knew that was the only option. Then they freaking charged me +$2.00 for my one lamb meatball! I didn't say anything because I didn't notice until after I paid but SO ANNOYING. :( read more

Asked for pita chips 6 times at check out completely disregard that then asked for a drink cup and he seemed pissed. The other guy didn't even cut the Avocado correctly and every piece has skin on it. I have been ordering here for months via their app or door dash and have recommended it to so many people. I have recently decided to go there and I will say I'm never ordering there again as their sanitation is terrible they all look like they want to die. There is so much I could say about this place but it's crappy all the way around. McDonald's has better service then that 0. Stars in my book. Also the portions at their other locations are bigger just hire a whole new staff cause this staff is literally trash. read more

My food wasn't good at all. It was my first time at Cava btw. Firstly, the staff made my experience horrible! I was nice polite and kind (although I shouldn't have been) the staff acted as if they didn't want my service for whatever reason... idk if it was because I was the only black girl in there or what (just a guess) but moving right along... I had questions about certain things. (I would never hold a line up due to my social anxiety. There was no one in line behind me.. it was only people infront of me who had already ordered and they were nice to them lol maybe because they knew them idk ?) they acted as if they didn't wanna answer my questions. Okay cool. So I just picked a bowl with two meats so I could atleast taste a variety. Then came the sauces I'm asking a flavor profile which was to no avail. The employee pretty much shrugged so I'm like can I just get a variety I'll pay extra if needed. He took the deepest breath and boyyyy did i get charged extra. Not a problem I get it. My bowl totalled around $21 $22. about $25 with the drink. The drinks were DELICIOUS may I add but once I got back to my office the food was below average and the meat lacked flavor and was extremely chewy. Some veggies were nice and average while others were wilted. The bowl was too small in my opinion. It wasn't worth more than $10. They gave me 1 I kid you not ONE pita chip lol which I thought was odd but maybe it only comes with one... again idk I had never been and won't be back lol unless I'm getting that watermelon mint drink it was amazing. Ive ate at other Cavas and they're usually pretty good, this location is also pretty good - at sucking. They pretty much serve u a bowl of uncooked rice so if youre interested in cracking your teeth its worth a shot. Staff was miserable but its also on a college campus zone so cant blame em. Worst service I've ever had at a Cava. Not one server talked to me even when I walked up to originally order. Had to practically demand my food and while doing so asked for no olives. The server put double olives on my order. Horrible service, unclean tables, and overall just rude. Will never be back here again.
