This is what your to-go food will look like.

Just got delivery from this place and it took 2 hrs, which happens. I'm sure things get backed up but then I get my food and the contents are all in the bag. I can only assume it sat in the guys car being thrown around for at least an hour. Tried calling the place and i couldn't get through then it's saying the number doesn't exist. Did I just get ghosted by a restaurant haha. Oh well, seriously a terrible experience. Maybe it's great if you go in but don't order to-go. I threw away my food because it was a giant mess.

I read the reviews and wanted to give this place a try. I should have known better when I saw no one in the parking lot and a car on blocks in the parking lot. But I said ok the reviews weren't mixed and I wanted Great Greek food so I went in saw dirty tables and still I kept going to the counter. I will say they were polite and took my order and the wait was not that long. But the food was really bad. I ordered a Gyro Sandwich and Greek Salad. The meat was very dry and the vegetables were old e en cooked they looked old. The Salad tasted stale and the lettuce was brown, the olives were very bitter I threw it away. I have to say that this place needs to remake itself or shut down. It should not be serving food to the public.Gyro SandwichGreek Salad. I am giving this place one star because Yelp will not let me post without a star but in my opinion zero stars should be the rating.

We had food delivered for Horus last night (via Doordash), and it was delicious! We started with the Greek salad for something light and then shared the whipped feta (not so much whipped as crumbled and tossed with herbs, spices, and peppers - very delicious though!) and the fasoulya (a bean soup/stew) for starters (the fasoulya had good flavor, but I thought the beans could have been more tender - not our favorite bite of food). Then we shared the pastitsio (on their menu as bechamel beef). If you've never had pastitsio, imagine a cross between moussaka and lasagna - pasta, ground meat (in this case beef), bechamel sauce, cheese. Horus's version was hearty and tasty and exactly what we wanted. We also shared a slice of basbousa (a semolina cake soaked in syrup). This was delicious, but it was a huge slice! (The picture on Doordash was a more traditional square piece - sometimes you also see it cut into diamonds - so we weren't expecting quite so much; we finished it though!) While we've never dined in, based on this delivery experience, I'd be happy to. And we'd be happy to order delivery or takeout from Horus again!

As an Egyptian (born & raised), that was one experience that literally took me back home! With all the memories of the amazing food I used to eat back then! The food was cooked beyond perfect! Highly recommend & as you can see it was an uber eats order, came on time & was packed perfectly. Thanks you Horus!

We were looking for Greek food that delivered, and we came across Horus. We'd never heard of it, but we gave it a try. So glad we did!!! Very delicious, good sized portions, and quick delivery with Uber Eats. We will definitely be ordering again!

The food look amazing but i ordered food through doordash that worth 60$ and it was confirm order but the food didn't delivered and nor I get the refund:(

Everything is meant to be share style on the menu, and so we opted to do a few starting dips with pita bread as well as some salads and two main dishes. The pita bread was honestly the highlight of my night! It was made fresh and it was so simple, but so delectable on its own, even without the hummus, which was also delicious. I think this is one of the best places you can go for good appetizers. I felt that the meat was good, but not as stand out as the hummus and the asparagus salad. I would love to come back for the pita bread alone. The service was exceptional, with an attentive and friendly staff.

I can get the same meal but better up the street on Gallatin with more decor, great staff, and more reasonable prices. It was pretty slow even with only a few tables taken on a week night. The explanation of the menu items wasn't clear even after asking (I don't think the staff member was fully knowledgeable on the ingredients) so we just picked what sounded okay and went with it.

I'd…read moresaved them in my Nashville bookmarks for some time after they received a lot of acclaim on Yelp - I believe at one time they were on a Yelp list of best restaurants in the US. We were certainly excited to try Uzbek food, as there's nowhere that serves it where we live. The restaurant doesn't look like too much from the outside and the parking lot is a little run down. However, the inside is very updated and super clean and comfortable. There's lots of seating, what appears to be a private room in the back, and some high-tech features, like a machine that you can use to alert waitstaff if you need a refill, a to-go box, or any other kind of attention. The bathrooms were also immaculate. Service was a little strange. I wouldn't say it was slow - every time we placed an order or had a request, our food or items were promptly brought out to us. However, the challenge came in getting the attention of our waitresses. Two ladies took care of us, alternating based on availability. One was very nice and friendly, the other a little gruff and irritable-seeming. But both were completely averse to coming in and checking on us without one of us flagging them down. Perhaps they're used to the little machines? I don't like using those because they come across as too demanding; I'd prefer to just be visited and checked in on from time to time by staff. Not so here. Despite not being very busy, our visit took a lot of time, even though the actual food service was fairly quick. Onto the food, the most important part. We ordered a lot because I wanted to experience as many unique dishes as possible. One waitress first brought out a complimentary serving of pita and what I believe was suzma, which the menu describes as a yogurt-based cheese. This was one of the highlights of our meal, actually, as the pita was hot, fresh, and very lightly charred. The suzma went very well with it. Then we ordered a chicken somsa and some Uzbek bread. The chicken somsa was alright; the pastry was delightfully flaky, but for me it was way too onion-forward. The Uzbek bread was another highlight. It was a temperature and textural delight - so warm and fluffy - if not a flavor bomb. It was great to polish off the remaining suzma from our complimentary treat. For entrees, my husband wanted to try the signature osh, while I ordered chicken shashlik. The osh was probably the better of the two but he didn't love it. It was quite greasy and the lamb was on the gamey side. My chicken shashlik had definitely been near charcoal too long; it had an overly-charred, unpleasant chemical-y taste. The accompanying rice had so much butter or oil in it that it was greasy, too, and although that imparted more flavor into it, I felt gross after a couple of bites. Everything was cooked well, just the flavors really didn't quite come together for us on this visit. It's hard for me to believe, given the average outstanding reviews and consistent praise this place gets, that our experience was an average one. Perhaps we just came on an off day or ordered the wrong things for our palates, since we're fairly unfamiliar with this cuisine. I would be willing to try again some day, but sadly our first visit didn't quite wow the way we'd hoped it would. I appreciate the clean and pretty environment and quickly prepared food!

I heard it could get pretty packed especially later in the day, so that's something to keep in mind if you wanted to visit the spot. Inside, there's tables and chairs and booths to the left with outlets. Of course free guest wifi as well. I started off trying their Spinach Feta, it was reheated via the microwave instead of an oven or airfryer. Because of this, it made the bread slightly wet + soggy. On top of this, the filling of the spinach/feta felt very "little" and was masked with the breading each bite. When it comes to the coffee/drinks, I tried the Haraz Latte (hot) and the Harazi Mufawar (hot). The Haraz Latte was on the milkier side and slightly sweeter than preferred. I usually like my coffee more bitter/strong, so the latte itself didn't move me as much. The Harazi Mufawar was slightly stronger/heavier on the flavoring and not as sweet. This drink wasn't too bad, but I'd rather try an alternative instead of reordering this again. Overall, I'm curious with their other espresso drinks (ex: Matcha Latte, Pistachio Latte, Salted Caramel Latte) and would be willing to come back to try. My personal rating: 3.7/5
