Gyro Plate with Greek salad. $6.99! Delicious!
    Tiffany S.

WOW! Definitely a hidden gem! I was craving gyros, but wasn't expecting too much. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality & quantity, and the owners were the nicest! Really fresh veggies for the salad & sauce hit the spot! We highly recommend this delicious happy place. Inside has at least 7 tables for dining in, but at least 4 people picked up food to go while we were there.

It doesn't look like much when you drive by but boy was I proven wrong!!! I was craving Greek food & this restaurant definitely hit the spot. I ordered the gyro plate with their spiced salad. The server was friendly and even added larger portions on my plate as it was the end of the night. He also gave me tips on which toppings to add!! The restaurant seems family run, as I saw children running around. I actually loved that because it's always been proven to be a sign of a safe family friendly establishment which cares for quality!! The only thing is that it is a little run down but I wasn't coming here for an "Instagram meal". It's just good Greek food!

So we ordered form here because our normal place was closed...and we are happy they were because we have a new Gyro place for sure. I mean everything was delicious, some of the best Cucumber sauce ever!! We will for sure order again and again.

Get some healthy Mediterranean food. Everything I've tried is great and they are always super nice & polite. Today I ordered some grape leaves but they called to ask if I want a substitution and I really appreciate the communication. Also I think they make their own Baklava? Not sure but it's great. Delivery is early and everything still warm.

This place is a hidden gem. Sooooo bomb! Employees were super nice. I got the gyro plate with Greek salad and hubby got the chicken plate with Greek salad and cucumber sauces on the side. Let me tell you, the cucumber sauce mixed into the meat and rice, yummm! So good. We'll definitely be back for more! Oh, and all for less than $16!

Fast delivery service cause I'm too lazy to drive there. The deliverer was friendly and funny. The food is tasty af. I could sleep in the pita bread until I eat my way through it. I am definitely going to order for delivery again soon..maybe tomorrow.

Heard about this place from a friend so i had to try it on a late night munchie run. Got the chicken plate. Food was hot n fresh.. they give large portions but it could use a little more flavor/spices. Think I'll go back and try the Philly cheese steak.. I'll keep you posted on my next review.

I'd…read moresaved them in my Nashville bookmarks for some time after they received a lot of acclaim on Yelp - I believe at one time they were on a Yelp list of best restaurants in the US. We were certainly excited to try Uzbek food, as there's nowhere that serves it where we live. The restaurant doesn't look like too much from the outside and the parking lot is a little run down. However, the inside is very updated and super clean and comfortable. There's lots of seating, what appears to be a private room in the back, and some high-tech features, like a machine that you can use to alert waitstaff if you need a refill, a to-go box, or any other kind of attention. The bathrooms were also immaculate. Service was a little strange. I wouldn't say it was slow - every time we placed an order or had a request, our food or items were promptly brought out to us. However, the challenge came in getting the attention of our waitresses. Two ladies took care of us, alternating based on availability. One was very nice and friendly, the other a little gruff and irritable-seeming. But both were completely averse to coming in and checking on us without one of us flagging them down. Perhaps they're used to the little machines? I don't like using those because they come across as too demanding; I'd prefer to just be visited and checked in on from time to time by staff. Not so here. Despite not being very busy, our visit took a lot of time, even though the actual food service was fairly quick. Onto the food, the most important part. We ordered a lot because I wanted to experience as many unique dishes as possible. One waitress first brought out a complimentary serving of pita and what I believe was suzma, which the menu describes as a yogurt-based cheese. This was one of the highlights of our meal, actually, as the pita was hot, fresh, and very lightly charred. The suzma went very well with it. Then we ordered a chicken somsa and some Uzbek bread. The chicken somsa was alright; the pastry was delightfully flaky, but for me it was way too onion-forward. The Uzbek bread was another highlight. It was a temperature and textural delight - so warm and fluffy - if not a flavor bomb. It was great to polish off the remaining suzma from our complimentary treat. For entrees, my husband wanted to try the signature osh, while I ordered chicken shashlik. The osh was probably the better of the two but he didn't love it. It was quite greasy and the lamb was on the gamey side. My chicken shashlik had definitely been near charcoal too long; it had an overly-charred, unpleasant chemical-y taste. The accompanying rice had so much butter or oil in it that it was greasy, too, and although that imparted more flavor into it, I felt gross after a couple of bites. Everything was cooked well, just the flavors really didn't quite come together for us on this visit. It's hard for me to believe, given the average outstanding reviews and consistent praise this place gets, that our experience was an average one. Perhaps we just came on an off day or ordered the wrong things for our palates, since we're fairly unfamiliar with this cuisine. I would be willing to try again some day, but sadly our first visit didn't quite wow the way we'd hoped it would. I appreciate the clean and pretty environment and quickly prepared food!

I've wanted to eat at Fattoush Café since I moved to Nashville, but I've never found myself in that part of town at meal time. We walked in and found a cozy atmosphere, with no pretense. A single gentleman behind the counter, who may have been the owner, begged our indulgence as none of his employees had shown up to work that day. We were fine to wait given the delicious smells coming from the grill. He asked us if we wanted the chicken shawarma, and then apologized because he was freshly cooking a batch and it would take 15 minutes to be ready. That was music to our ears. Any Mediterranean restaurant that cooks proteins to order shows great promise. We had a chicken Shawarma salad, and the super platter. The portions were tremendous, the proteins were spectacular, and the tzatziki and spicy sauce both tasted looked and smelled homemade. The hummus was some of the best I've had in this town. The total for two huge meals, that really fed us each twice, was a paltry $40. The man behind the counter thanked us for coming in, again thanked us before we left, and was genuinely kind and seemed happy to have us in the restaurant.
