The ONLY reason I'm not giving this five stars is because of the increase in price and decrease in size. I've been coming to Sadie's since I first found it in 2021. On my first visit, I completely and wholly fell in love with two dishes that rocked my world: the halloumi, and Whipped Feta. The next time I came, the halloumi was out of stock, and the time after that it had made its way off the menu. Major bummer, but it happens. But the whipped feta stayed! Every time someone comes to town, I take them to get the whipped feta and some drinks. I even got in the habit of regularly ordering the whipped feta with extra pita to go. One day I went with a large group and we got the whipped feta to share. The price had increased steadily over the years but I wasn't expecting it to be $17. Whatever, it's my favorite dish. Wrong. It was maybe two spoonfuls of whipped feta with a measly few pita slices. I figure it's a fluke, and decide to order it to go a week later. The pint sized container used to come full to the top, if not pretty close. Now it was 1/4 full. The end of an era. For $17, I'd rather make it myself. The rest of the food on the menu is fine, but not what it once was. It's by no means the priciest restaurant in Nashville, but you can't increase price and decrease size all at once. Overall a fun night out with the fam! We really liked the carrots, and the shrimp was also a hit. The meatballs were a bit dry, and the dates--while flavorful--were on the smaller, drier side. The Israeli salad was fresh and pretty good overall. For three of us, five small plates was enough, though a sixth wouldn't have been too much. The patio is a great spot, especially on a nice night! My only minor feedback is that the loud scraping of the metal stools when several tables were reset for a larger party was a little distracting at one point, and our server could have checked in a touch more often. This is going to be a conglomerate review because we've been countless times and I just keep forgetting to write one. Sadie's is one of our go-to places if people are in town and we want to take them out for brunch and drinks. First off, we love the ambiance: it's bright, it's roomy, the decor is great looking. It's just got IT. The service has been friendly, helpful, and quick, all the time, every time. Without fail, we will be ordering the whipped feta appetizer if we're here for brunch, because it is that good. Creamy, sweet, with salty pita slices to go with it (always getting more of those). They do have a "Family Style" option for brunch, but we usually end up ordering our own meals. From the salads to the skillets to the gyros/shwarmas, we've never been disappointed and neither have our guests. The cocktails have also all hit the spot; I think they have one of the better Bloody Mary's in town and there's usually something with gin that grabs my wife's attention. And the pickiest eater of all, our toddler, has been multiple times and gobbles up the pieces of chicken, fruits, and fries. While I've been here for happy hour and had delicious drinks, I finally got to try the brunch! The blueberry monkey bread was really delicious! It comes in a little skillet and it almost has a cornbread texture which was nice. It was a good dish to share with multiple people. I also got an iced tea and Shakshouka. We were all very hungry and we were having a hard time finding a restaurant that was open. I spotted Sadie's & saw that there wasn't a line, so we decided to go in. The decor was lovely, and the service was great. The problem, though, was that they didn't specify that many of the dishes were spicy. My sister and I both ordered the Mediterranean breakfast scramble, which sounded amazing. Sadly, the menu did not state that the dish was spicy and had a lot of pepper on it. My sister is allergic to pepper, which she mentioned to the server when she came around to check on us. The server kindly replaced her dish with plain scrambled eggs. It was too spicy for me as well, but I don't have an allergy to it, so I was able to scrape off most of the pepper and eat most of my meal. But even the pita was spicy. The person in our group who ordered the French toast was very happy with her meal, however. It was an interesting combination that had some whipped cheese and fruit as an accompaniment. Pomegranates were a nice add. The falafel gyro was flavorful but not overpowering. I picked this to avoid onions and was not disappointed. Partner had a lamb gyro. YMMV with lamb; I tasted it but liked the falafel gyro better. Vegan? Check this place out. Staff were friendly and helpful. Music in background was muah! Great. I like the decor. The chicken to me was missing that harissa flavor and kick but still a nice meal and the fries were great, seasoned with Mediterranean seasonings. Sadly our waitress was very rude, her energy was very off putting from the moment we walked in my peers felt her energy. I asked her for a couple of to go boxes and she bought one small one, looked at me and asked if I need another one. I replied yes and she bought another one and actually slammed on the table in front of me. Sadie's is a great Mediterranean restaurant I went to this past weekend in Edgehill! I will say parking is a bit tricky, as you need to find street parking unless you want to pay in the lot! The restaurant is decorated so nicely, and it's definitely a great girls night spot! We decided to eat outside since it was such a nice night out. We decided to share the whipped feta and that was one of the best whipped feta's I've had! It had some sweetness to it by putting some honeycomb and pomegranate on top of the feta. The pita was also so good and warm, but I wish we got some more pita for the amount of feta we got! I decided to get the souvlaki chicken kebab and that was phenomenal. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the two sauces we received, the red pepper harissa and tzatziki were so good with the chicken. I recommend all the dishes but the Israeli salad was not for me, I like salad but all of it was diced so it's not like ypur typical salad but the flavor was very good. We both adored the holiday decorations. Our server was extremely kind and attentive. I told him I just started drinking coffee and prefered plant milk heavy options, so he made me a special mocha. We decided to try a few different things: Chopped Israeli salad: I loved this so much I want to recreate it at home. The cherry tomatoes were fresh and were just the right amount of firm. It was so refreshing. We added the chicken. I found it to be a little drier than I would've liked, but still enjoyed the salad. Pulled Lamb gyro: So tasty! As a Mediterranean girlie myself, I grew up eating lamb. The lamb was also a tad tougher than I would've liked, but had all the right flavors. The tzatziki was great and I loved the pita. Greek fries: I adored these. This is a must get side. Yes, they're just fries, but the spices on top and the crispiness are perfection. I definitely want to return on my next visit to Nashville. What an adorable spot to grab a quick lunch! My friend and I stopped in on a Thursday around noon for a delicious meal in a beautiful setting. We were able to snag a table right away - although I'm sure this spot gets busy given its easy-to-access location in Edgehill. We started out with a few coffees - which was much needed on a chilly winter day. I did note that they offered some fun cocktails (and mocktails) if that's what you're in the mood for. Everything on their lunch menu sounded wonderful, so we opted to share a few different plates. The Chopped Israeli salad was fresh and flavorful, and I love that you can add on your choice of protein (we went with chicken). The Pulled Lamb Gyro was full of those classic Middle Eastern spices, and served on a delightfully fluffy pita. Last but certainly not least, the Greek Fries were perfectly crispy and served with a generous portion of Ketchup for dipping. Our server was attentive and friendly throughout our meal - and I'd definitely return to Sadie's again soon to try more of their incredible menu. While the food itself is good, there are a lot of cons to consider: - portion sizes/value: the food is far too expensive. The kebabs are two small kebabs with a bunch of filler items, you get TWO small meatballs for $20, two small octopus tentacles, etc. The only real portion size was the salmon. While the food is good, it is not worth the price point. - service: we had a group of 10, 6 of us had previously eaten there and had all said the same thing: the service is extremely slow. Because we had a large group they let us know they would automatically apply a 20% service charge, when that is the case, I expect great service. Except we had three people in our party who did not receive their food until 30 minutes after everyone else and only because I had to get up twice to say something. Our drinks would never come, we had to go up to the bar because we would wait 20+ minutes. Half the table was never cleared, once again, I had to get up and ask someone to please clear the table after waiting nearly 20 minutes after one half had been cleared. -ambiance: it is a cute and clean place with good ambiance lighting and night but it is so loud you cannot hear the people across from you so it makes conversation tough. Also, the place is mostly filled with bachelorettes. Overall, the drinks and food are good but overpriced and the service is bad. read more

My contention is with the meager amount of food I received for $22. I'm from LA. Trust me, I am well versed with inflated food prices. But at least the dishes are hearty. 50 cents worth of chicken (I ordered the chicken kebab) and 25 cents worth of filler French fries hardly constitute a meal. And even though the meat neatly fell into the 'average' category regarding taste, I would have expected at least 3 skewers for that price. I only hope more consideration has been placed in some of their other dishes. This meal should have cost $7.99 AT MOST. I also found their pita bread to be spongey, bland, and less than fresh. I went to Sadie's yesterday for a little girls brunch. The service and decor was just spectacular. It has a floral/feminine/modern theme to it which was super cute. Our waitress was this sweet girl who literally took her time to explain menu highlights. I really appreciated this was helpful when making a decision. My daughter went for the beef kebab, which had a tiny bit more seasoning than my sad chicken, but the portion was still a total joke. For what they're charging, I expected way better than this. Here's the kicker: I was actually pumped to eat here after seeing all the hype online. Now I'm just mad--mad at the restaurant for serving this trash, and mad at whoever wrote those rave reviews. I stopped in here for brunch with my girls before heading over to a vineyard and I am so glad we did! Sadie's atmosphere is light and airy, and all of their breakfast dishes have a Mediterranean flair to them. Service was fast and the drinks were tasty! I elected to go with their breakfast skillet. My only "complaint", which you can't even really call a complaint, is that the dish came with a ton of wedge cut potatoes, a little too much in comparison to the amount of eggs and sausage. That was the most overwhelming part of the dish, so expect to have left over potatoes, if you order this.
