This restaurant is one of my favorites! The food is always delicious and plentiful. I find other Mediterranean restaurants don't come close to contending with Gyro Tabouli. My research of the restaurant is its family run and they take pride in customer service and quality! As for the restaurant it's not a huge location which makes it better compared to other restaurants. I forgot to take pictures but I will the next time I go have dinner. I first tried this restaurant out on Too Good To Go a few days ago and I was blown away by the best Mediterranean food I've had in years! I had to go back and get dinner so my wife and I ordered online and I went to pick it up. The people working there are some of the nicest, warmest people I've seen. Very impressed! Honestly we first walked in and almost left. It's kind of dirty inside and looks like it's not going to be a spot you like. I would suggest to move past that and just go for it. It's very traditional and you can tell they know what they are doing back there. Food was very good, I was shocked how much flavor the meal had. Husband had the chicken and shrimp plate with rice. Son had the chicken combo (wrap) with fries. I love when food has enough seasoning, flavor and correct moisture so I don't need sauce--This was it. Everyone emptied their plate. Absolutely will add this to my comeback list. It is also easy to get to (traffic can be tricky during rush hour but that's all of Murfreesboro). I do think the hummus could have more flavor but that is truly minor in comparison to everything else. Seating is limited so it is not for large groups. It worked for our small family. read more

I went with the spicy mixed grill platter which comes with the gyro, chicken, rice, salad and pita. I was very impressed with the portions offered for what I paid. The gyro and chicken were very flavorful and the white sauce was perfect. The staff were really friendly and the place gives off a mom and pop vibe. So they definitely give you plenty of food for every selection. I always get their chicken plate. You can't go wrong with that. Their falafel is good as well. But their fries..... Read the reviews...had the hummus and pita which was good. Ordered a falafel wrap and couldn't finish it...for two reasons...1, the wrap was HUGE but 2, the falafel tasted straight up like Kalamata olives. I love Greek food but not the olives so I threw it away. Can't speak for the gyros but they smelled good. I was driving from middle TN back to Knoxville yesterday and decided to stop in for lunch. Great as always. The staff is always so friendly and will literally put as much of any ingredient on your plate as you want. The prices are still reasonable even in Biden America. I had the gyro platter and tried the hummus appetizer for the first time. It was a lot different than store bought hummus but is worth trying. As you can see the gyro platter is enough for multiple meals. I'll always keep coming back to the place due to the freshness of their food and the wonderful customer service.
