This restaurant is one of my favorites! The food is always delicious and plentiful. I find other Mediterranean restaurants don't come close to contending with Gyro Tabouli. My research of the restaurant is its family run and they take pride in customer service and quality! Very impressed! Honestly we first walked in and almost left. It's kind of dirty inside and looks like it's not going to be a spot you like. I would suggest to move past that and just go for it. It's very traditional and you can tell they know what they are doing back there. Food was very good, I was shocked how much flavor the meal had. This Vanessa recommendation from my younger brother and it didn't disappoint. Must be good anytime you don't need any sauce. I had the Gyro plate with hummus. Husband had the chicken and shrimp plate with rice. Son had the chicken combo (wrap) with fries. I love when food has enough seasoning, flavor and correct moisture so I don't need sauce--This was it. Everyone emptied their plate. Absolutely will add this to my comeback list. It is also easy to get to (traffic can be tricky during rush hour but that's all of Murfreesboro). I do think the hummus could have more flavor but that is truly minor in comparison to everything else. Seating is limited so it is not for large groups. It worked for our small family. read more

Think I found my new place in the Boro for my Gyro fix. Everything from the service to the food was excellent. The Tzatziki was nice and thick, grape leaves were flavorful and you felt like a king lost family member once inside.. Ordered a falafel wrap and couldn't finish it...for two reasons...1, the wrap was HUGE but 2, the falafel tasted straight up like Kalamata olives. My favorite Greek place in the state by far. I have eaten at this place for a decade and never had a bad meal. I was driving from middle TN back to Knoxville yesterday and decided to stop in for lunch. Great as always. The staff is always so friendly and will literally put as much of any ingredient on your plate as you want. The prices are still reasonable even in Biden America. I had the gyro platter and tried the hummus appetizer for the first time. It was a lot different than store bought hummus but is worth trying. As you can see the gyro platter is enough for multiple meals. I'll always keep coming back to the place due to the freshness of their food and the wonderful customer service.
