Greek Cafe Grill - Greek Near Me - Murfreesboro, Tennessee

Vibe: Maybe it's my heritage, but I was craving Greek food and decided to give Greek Cafe Grill a try. It's tucked at the end of a typical strip mall -- so you're not going there for the vibe. Inside, it's clean (which is always a plus), but a bit on the sterile side for my taste. Not the end of the world, just one man's perspective. Service: Super friendly and welcoming. Looked like just one person was running the show -- possibly the franchisee -- and he handled everything smoothly and with a smile. What really stood out was how many regulars he clearly knew by name. In this day and age, that's a rarity and such an important part of true hospitality. Food & Drinks: The food was very good. I had the Falafel Wrap, and the falafel itself was light, crispy, and well done. Overall, a solid job. To be candid -- did it blow me away? No. But it absolutely met every expectation I had, and I left completely satisfied. The menu and presentation felt a bit more standardized, which makes sense since they have other locations, but the quality was still there. I'd go back again without hesitation. Overall: A reliable, satisfying option for Greek food in Murfreesboro -- and definitely worth a try in my opinion. read more

I was craving good Greek food and since I'm traveling I thought I'd see if there were any Greek restaurants in the area. I'm so glad the chain Greek restaurants were closing for the night since this led me to Greek Cafe Grill. I was greeted when I came in the door. I think the gentleman behind the counter was the owner. . I tried the mixed grill plate. It was delicious! Coming from someone who lived near Tarpon Springs, FL where a large population of Greeks live and having tried the food there...this place is legit. If you haven't been, your missing out! I'll definitely be back next time I'm back in town! read more

Nice folks. Consistently good food. Not too expensive & the kids love it. It's not too fancy, but good.

We come here every time we're in town. The food is delicious. I'm not sure if the man who normally serves us is the owner but he is always very friendly. There's indoor tables & booths. read more

Service is WAAAAAYYYY to slow for mediocre food. Waited in the Drive-Thru with only three cars and waited 30 minutes. Just to tell me they were out of pockets for the gyro I asked if they were short-staffed and they said they were just busy but only two people in the store food is mediocre services really really slow read more

Nice small cafe with really good Greek food! He had the Gyro plate and I had the wrap. Both large servings of Greek deliciousness! My side of spanakopita was perfect and the little triangle were crispy goodness! We would definitely eat here again! read more

It was ok. Place was empty, cook/owner was having his lunch at a side table. Seemed a little put out to have to stop eating to cook. From the reviews, I was expecting better but I'm from out of town and most likely not returning for that reason anyway. Restroom was acceptably clean. read more

Was traveling on interstate & exited for a quick lunch. Found the Greek Cafe on Yelp. Spouse & I enjoyed gyro's & fries. Food was fresh & flavorful. Service friendly & quick. Restaurant was clean but bathroom needed attention -not nasty but trash can was overflowing. Would eat here again if we're in the area. read more

I was looking for a Mediterranean Restaurant (Greek, Armenian, or Lebanese) like the ones I'm used to back home in California. I saw all the great reviews of this place and had to try it. Everything I had was wonderful. Baba ganoush, spanakopita, dolmas (grape leaves), falafel, and a mixture of the tabouli and Greek salad. The restaurant itself was nice and the staff were very friendly. The place was packed and they got everyone's food out pretty quickly. I do have to say I am still looking for a place that sells lamb shish, and a spicy chicken with that white garlic sauce (more Lebanese). But check these guys out if you like Mediterranean cuisine. read more

Great food and made super fresh! Got the gyros wrap lunch combo with fries. So delicious and flavorful. Definitely will come again!

My daughter and I were looking for something quick and delicious that wasn't a drive-thru for dinner one night and saw this as we were going into Kroger. We both love Greek foods so we thought we'd give it a try. There was only one gentleman working and from the looks of the menu we should have known it wasn't truly authentic Greek food. Although we were hungry and decided to give it a try. We ordered the falafel which tasted more like an odd meatball, the chicken pita was good and the taziki was way too runny. Overall it was ok, but I don't think we'd go back read more

If you enjoy Greek food this is an excellent place! Service was great Greek Salad on point

Amazing customer service. I utilized the Greek grill for a catering event for a medical office in the area for 20 people and I showed up everything was prepared and ready to go. When I got to the office and the staff tasted the food they all said that it was one of the best lunches they has ever been delivered. That's saying a lot when it's coming from something that catered. The food was fantastic and the service was even more stellar. I will be using them frequently for events. read more

Growing up in Detroit and always enjoying the eats of Greek town I found a strong liking for Greek food. We recently moved to murfreeboro and seen this cafe thought we give it a try. The service was good and people were friendly. Food was worth the Stop lots of flavor. Only complaint I had is the cucumber dressing was more water than anything. Not a lot of flavor and to me this makes a big difference in the enjoyment of the food. But overall I'll be back. JUST THICKEN THE CUCUMBER DRESSING. read more

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I come at least once a week and I have never been disappointed in the food. The 2 men that work here are extremely nice. I stumbled upon this gem recently while delivering an order for door dash. Everything cooked to order and they work to make your order quickly. I tried the chicken wrap with fries. Super flavorful! Taziki sauce was on Point. I also loved the seasoning on their fries. These are the types of businesses we need to support during / post pandemic, they need the business! The food was very delicious but the guy over there is not good enough like I was trying to get some ice for my drink and it looked like it out of ice bc i was pushing the machine to get ice i got nothing so I tried again the guy from this restaurant was yelling at me and he said the machine is not going to make ice like that. He was literally yelling from the back. I just throw my cup away and I came home. I love their food but not the people from there!!! And it was my first to dine in at this restaurant, I always wanted to order from DoorDash and the food is soo yummy. read more

They have a great selection of foods to try. I ordered the chicken kabob and spanakopita. I wasn't impressed with the tzatziki sauce, I've made better. Did not like what ever flavor was on the kabobs. The chicken wasn't cooked all the way so I was afraid to eat most of it. The rice was alright. The spanakopita was different. It wasn't made with a traditional filo dough, but an egg roll wrapper maybe. But it was good. read more

Amazing Falafel!!! We stopped while driving through and were glad we did. Great place, friendly and authentic.

This used to be "Antonio's Little Italy". We ate there once when they first opened and never returned. They have since closed. This location is now operated by new owners. "Greek Cafe Grill" is nothing like it's predecessor. We gave it a try this week. Service was great, prices are very reasonable, and the food was excellent. My wife and I both had the chicken platter. It comes with a salad and served on rice. I had the cucumber sauce added which was very good. This was my first visit since the change. My wife had been once before and she convinced me to give it a try. I'm glad I did. We will definitely be going back. I believe it was the new owner behind the counter who served us. He is very friendly and trying hard to do things right. I think he's doing a great job. The place still looks a lot like "Antonio's" which is why I avoided it for so long. I can tell you, it's a very different experience now. I recommend giving it a shot if you're in the area. read more
