These days it's hard to find a "bargain burger" anywhere under $20, but Firebirds has a huge selection so you can actually find something that fits your budget without sacrificing quality. I was also really impressed with the service. Our waitress knew the entire menu from memory and was able to answer every question and make great recommendations without missing a beat. You could tell she really knew the food and cared about the experience. Great burger, lots of choices, and excellent service. I'll definitely be coming back!

I visited with my parents during their last trip to town since the restaurant happened to be nearby. Upon walking in, the decor felt a little confusing. The menu clearly presents the restaurant as a grill, but the interior still seemed heavily influenced by what may have previously been an Asian restaurant space. The renovation didn't feel entirely cohesive, which made the atmosphere a bit disjointed. That said, the staff was very friendly, and we were seated quickly. Throughout the meal, however, there seemed to be an underlying sense of stress among the staff that was noticeable despite their efforts to remain professional and attentive. It created a slightly uncomfortable atmosphere at times. For dinner, we ordered the filet with broccoli and French fries, while another guest ordered a salad. Unfortunately, the salad had to be sent back because it arrived with blue cheese despite a requested omission due to an allergy. Thankfully, the issue was corrected. The filet itself was cooked to the requested temperature, and overall the food was fine, but nothing particularly stood out as memorable. Everything was acceptable, though not especially remarkable. Overall, Firebird Grill may work well for larger groups or families looking for a convenient, casual meal, but with so many standout restaurants in Nashville, it's probably not a place I'd personally revisit.

If you're someone who doesn't always want a burger at a burger restaurant, it's definitely worth trying. Another menu item that surprised me was the deviled eggs. They're a unique twist on a classic appetizer and not something you see at most restaurants. The food is consistently good, the menu has a lot of variety, and it's one of the few places I keep coming back to without getting tired of it. Every time someone asks me for a restaurant recommendation in Murfreesboro, Bad Daddy's is at the top of my list.

I got the buttermilk bacon for my burger and it should only be served as a side or appetizer. The half slice of bacon is breaded so it is over an inch thick and there were 4 pieces on the patty. There is no way this could fit in a normal sized mouth if you add any lettuce or other condiments. I asked for Brie and got one 1" slice. Definitely not what I expected for a $3 up charge. The sweet potato fries were inedible due to the salt they were doused with. I will, however, recommend the house fried chips with onion dip and it was a shame to have to leave it since there was so much of it. It probably would be great in place of mayo on a burger. I also observed 5-6 people wandering in and out of the back that weren't wearing uniforms but seemed to know everyone as they stood around chatting. Why??? Not very professional for food service. One young man in particular kept running his hand thru his long hair as he stood near the staff area for drinks and the pass. Ugh! There was also another guy with hair down to his waist that was pulled back but man!, that ponytail was swinging loose everywhere from the kitchen to the bar. Again, ugh! Neither of those would I want near where my food was being prepared. The menu is a fun looking and eclectic mess but we won't be back. I prefer a food be under-salted as one can always add more if needed and the hair completely turned me off.

The food was perfect and really not even that expensive compared to my home town. I started with a nice Cabernet. I had two in fact. I did not know that Tennessee has an extra tax (LBD - 15%) on alcohol sold by the glass! I thought Republicans were all about low taxes. I also enjoyed an absolutely delicious shrimp bisque. It was really good (and only $6 for a bowl). It was smooth and flavorful. In my neighborhood that would cost $15. My entree was a daily special, yellowfin tuna. It was nicely seared on the outside and sushi grade on the inside. I could really taste the healthy Omega 3's. The fish was served on a nicely flavored bed of long grain rice. A wonderful mango salsa topped the fish. The accompanying broccoli was perfectly steamed. This was only $26. I shall return again to this great place.

It felt very comfortable and almost elevated. My husband ordered a NY strip steak with mashed potatoes and macaroni & cheese. He ordered his steak blue rare, as that was not an option on the ordering machine. Our waitress kindly said she could make a note for blue rare if possible. We later learned that the kitchen staff had no idea what blue rare was or how to cook it, which is a red flag for a restaurant that is supposed to be a "steakhouse". As you could guess, it didn't come out blue rare or even rare; to be honest, it came out medium rare and with no seasoning. He decided it was fine and he would manage, so he did not mention it, although we definitely did not ask for a box. He added his sides were okay, but overall, the food experience was 3/10. I had a mocktail called "spa day." It was a pineapple mojito without the alcohol, and I love a good pineapple mojito, so I enjoyed it. I also ordered a steak. Filet 6 oz medium and it was cooked fine, but the only seasoning was pepper, and thank goodness I have grown accustomed to pepper; otherwise, I would have had to send it back because it was the only thing on it. I ordered a loaded potato and the apples as my sides, and they were perfect. The apples honestly were probably the best part of the meal, although they did taste like they were from a box. Overall, in my opinion, it is definitely not worth $130, but the waitress was very nice and attentive
