I came about 10 mins before close and the staff were very kind and allowed me to still place my order. Got the W22T Burrito this time and it was DELICIOUS!!!! DIVINE!!!! I haven't had anything less than amazing here. A place I'm always happy to stop at when I'm craving some great Mexican food!

My sister brought me to this spot and I am so glad she did. I had one shrimp taco and a pizzadilla. She had the Quesabirrilla tacos, and my BIL had the Birrira Ramen. Everything was muy delicioso! I am planning to drive back from Wilson County just for the shrimp tacos! I haven't had tacos as good since leaving the West Coast. I also really enjoyed the art inside the Establishment and the cool background for taking selfies and the lotería order numbers was a great detail too! Overall great experience!

We had been wanting to try this place for a while. Finally stopped on a random Tuesday night. There were only 2 other people there. It's not a very big restaurant. You go up to the front to order and then they bring the food to your table. We had a hard time finding a clean table, despite only 2 people being there. My son ordered 3 fish tacos and I got an Adobo Cobb Salad. It was over $30 and we only got tap water to drink. The food was good, but I can't afford to spend $5 per taco.

Not sure why I haven't reviewed West 22 earlier. This has become a regular spot for us. You can't really ever go wrong with West 22, they know what they are doing and go above and beyond. Food is always spot on and they are sneaky good with their dessert. A top option in Murfreesboro!

This was our first time here. We were immediately impressed by the friendly staff and by the overall cleanliness of the restaurant. My wife ordered the Kitchen Sink Bowl. It was huge, full of chicken, rice, beans, lettuce, pico, pickled onions, and more. She loved it! After talking to the staff, I ordered a California Burrito (it's not on their regular menu) and it was fantastic! Tons of carne asada with guacamole, potatoes, and a perfectly cooked, large tortilla. This was definitely one of the best burritos I've had in Nashville. The restaurant is super casual and you order at the counter. Their food and service are really something special. I highly recommend West 22 Tacos if you are in the area!

This lil taco hut was recommended by some family in the area. They have a fast casual set up where you order and sit down while your fiesta is created. I opted for the surf and turf burrito and my wife had a few tacos and the queso. The birra tacos seem to be one of their specialties. The street corn was excellent but I may be guilty of loving mediocre street corn. Everything was fresh and delicious. Most of the individual tacos are $4+. We saw an adjacent table order the $50 taco platter and that appeared to be taco bliss. You couldn't be sad except to have some of it boxed up for later! We liked the relaxed vibe and they had a patio for warmer weather. Great location with a bunch of heavy hitter retailers within a 5 min drive. Great choice for carry out if you need a break thru the week for date night at home!

Holy mother of tacos. I had heard mixed reviews, and I feel like some ppl may not understand greatness. Everything we tried was excellent. Friendly fast service. I am not sure I can choose a favorite taco. The trio was a great starter. We went later in the day trying to cut down on the line, it didn't work. But it goes fast order some chips and relax. The birria was excellent, the taquitos were great and the coco was very flavorful. It was delicious and if you haven't been yet shame on you!

Wow! A great taqueria. The steak asada taco is flavorful and they give you a lime wedge squeeze over it. The street corn is on the cob so get ready to get your fingers dirty - worth it. The fish taco is also quite tasty. The music is lively and the staff is nice. Would have given it a five, but they only have low quality plastic wear and the tea machine was broken. You have to stand in line to order, but they bring the food to your table.

We've been…read moresearching for so long and I had honestly given up multiple times, but like all great explorers, we endured and persevered. Taqueria Lupita is a great spot nestled inside a gas station market. As soon as we walked in, I knew we were in for a treat. The smell of meat on the griddle and the aroma of toasted tortillas met our noses and it made my mouth instantly start salivating. The team behind the counter was working fast and got our order out super quick. I opted for a chicken burrito and it took all of my self control to keep from eating it on the drive home. But like all great explorers of old, we had to take our bounty back to the motherland for all to enjoy. I cut it open and see what the cross section looked like, and it was practically perfect. I forgot to ask for avocado, so that's on me. We got the red and green salsas with it and they were both great. I loved the roasty undertones and heat of the red salsa. The first bite of this burrito took me back to another place, far from Tennessee. It was a glorious first bite. The melty cheese, the rice, beans and the chicken combined to make the most delicious symphony of flavors. I can't say enough good things about this burrito, you have to try it for yourself. I'm eager to try more things on their menu, especially the torta, it looked amazing.

As soon as we saw the (previously Oakland) Raiders logo, we knew it was gonna be good! I got the steak (asada) burrito - it came with rice, beans, meat, sour cream, and lettuce. If I had to give a critique, I'd say it's just missing a little guac. But oh my word, this burrito transported me right back to California! The flavors were spot on, the ratios were perfect. It may have taken us five years, but we finally found a Mexican spot that will definitely be in our rotation. It's located inside a small gas station, which confused us at first. But once we walked in, it was clear where to order. Both guys working seemed extremely kind and helpful, and overall just happy to be serving people incredible food.

He recommended the Quesabirrias but I was craving standard tacos tonight. I ordered a cheese dip with chips and a couple of their salsa cups came with it and decided on the Tacos Al Carbon and a Mexican Coke (hence the $3.50 price tag). I sat down and within minutes the appetizer arrived and a few minutes later the tacos arrived. The cheese dip was good...pretty standard and their salsa was a surprise, good flavor, smooth, and no heat if that is a concern. The taco's were OK but were more like a cheesesteak taco versus the flavors you expect for Al Carbon (cilantro, garlic, jalapeño) especially seemed to be missing the "cooked over coal" part. Now the tacos were good, I added some lime juice and salsa for added flavor, and I liked how the tortilla was grilled and the onions were Al dente. But overall it really didn't fit the bill for "Al Carbon" steak. I will visit them again and check out some of the other items I saw being delivered to tables. The place is clean, love the artwork, and the service was solid. I'm not gonna debate what restaurants are having to pay for their products and charge for their food, but the cost of dining out is getting crazy.

I popped in one day after running errands around Murfreesboro and when I first saw that it was an old BK converted into Mexican restaurant, I thought to myself this is either going to be distrusting or delicious, and lucky for me it was the latter! El Cubilete serves up authentic Mexican food, and while you can still get the classics you are used to, they focus a lot on the true Mexican classics. Being the gringo I am, I went with my tried and true chicken, rice and cheese sided with some chori-queso. While the order was basic, the food itself was not. The queso, chips, chicken, tortillas and everything was fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. To with the food, they brought out their house red and green sauce. SPICY is an understatement, but I could handle in small dabs, and through that realized while the green was milder, the red had better flavor. But honestly it was lose-lose for me with those sauces. In addition to the food, they have a small drink menu with beers, frozen drinks and a solid selection of agua frescas. Service was stellar. The owner was super kind, welcoming me in, checking on me during my meal and ultimately ringing me out. All the servers were friendly and helpful. Overall, odd layout and set up, along with service being communal (everyone serves everyone together), which is a bit odd...but even with all that, the food and service speak up and stand alone. Great spot with good folks and tasty food! I would certainly swing back through when in Murfreesboro.
