Revisiting a place you had many time. A great option for in and out quick. Time and consistency getting your order in person or call in has been great. I do my have favorites here that I will usually order the same things here. 2 tacos more then enough for me. Leaving satisfied. read more

I've been to this taco place in the "Boro" several times and it's a good place to grab a taco. They make their tortillas fresh every day and the have over 10 different tacos to choose from. The tacos are full size tacos, so 3 tacos would be enough for most people. I think we've tried all of the tacos and the Pork Belly and Grilled Fish Tacos are my personal favorite. Wife likes the Steak Asada and the Birria tacos. They have outdoor umbrella covered tables and they offer Bowls, Burritos, Salads, Nachos, Street Corn, Guacamole, Shrimp Ceviche, Queso, 5 different Salsas and 2 Desserts. You order at the counter and they give you a number then bring you the food and it comes out pretty quickly. Lastly-- They are closed on Sundays. read more

The steak tacos were great. The queso lacked flavor and the chips were meh. The service was friendly and patient. The particular time I went, the restaurant was HOT . Lots diners so something had to be good. It's worth a try. read more

Great food! Best tacos in TN. Lots of options. Korean taco was amazing Clean restaurant! Bathroom was clean too.

The fish tacos were the best! We met up with some family for a birthday brunch. Not a ton of space on the inside, but plenty of outdoor seating. Pricing is fair. Food was delicious! Kind staff, we brought a cake but didn't think to bring a knife or plates and they were gracious to bring us everything we needed. Definitely would recommend this spot! read more

I thought I left a review for this place already but 10/10 recommend when you're in Murfreesboro! The fish and chips were TOP TEIR! I'm pescatarian so those and the Cauli is all I tried . The cauliflower taco was good just wish the veggies were more roasted. Went back after I left bc the fish taco was that good I had to get another one . (I got them to go) The tres leches parfait is A MUST TRY! it was so so so delicious! Will definitely be back for that and the fish tacos . The tacos are very big too, so a bang for your buck. Service was okay, they were nice but not super friendly . Still recommend if you're in the area! I can't stop thinking about the parfait ! Can't wait to go back. Not great for large crowds , inside is kind of small . Overall 10/10. read more

Food was great, fish tacos and pork belly talcos were a treat. The guacamole salad looks amazing. Salsa very tasty. read more

My sister brought me to this spot and I am so glad she did. I had one shrimp taco and a pizzadilla. She had the Quesabirrilla tacos, and my BIL had the Birrira Ramen. Everything was muy delicioso! I am planning to drive back from Wilson County just for the shrimp tacos! I haven't had tacos as good since leaving the West Coast. I also really enjoyed the art inside the Establishment and the cool background for taking selfies and the lotería order numbers was a great detail too! Overall great experience! read more

3.5 As bizarre as it sounds, I wound up in Murfreesboro by accident. I got the day wrong for an appointment and drove the 45+ minutes* down I24 for no reason. Rather than stew in my bad judgement, I decided to grab dinner from a place that had been on my list for a while. Lookit me, making lemonade from lemons. Thanks to GPS, I was at West 22 in a jiffy. I am always so awed by how much the 'boro has grown. Seeing developments (and traffic!) like this continues to surprise and impress me. Judging by the newness of the build out, I guessed that this area of the 'boro wasn't that established -- yet. For its relative newness, it was packed with cars. Saturday night in early Spring was the place to be, evidently. I walked in to the bright lights and Instagram/accent wall. I must have looked lost because one of the employees greeted me with a smile/laugh and asked if it was my first time. That obvious, huh? I replied that it was and that I was hungry. She suggested I order 3-4 tacos and that's just what I did. After an appropriate wait time, I had my food and I made my way back to Nashville in a car laden with a heavenly aroma. I was 2/4 of my choices. I'll detail them from my least fave to my fave: Carnitas - a generous portion of shredded pork topped with avocado-serrano salsa, cilantro, onions, pickled jalapenos, and lime. Sounds delicious, right? Unfortunately, it was DRY. Like, pork is best when juicy and said juice mixes with the toppings. My meat was a tad wetter than shoe leather. Very disappointing. Actually, at nearly $5, very disappointing. Birria - I am still in search of a middle Tennessee birria taco that makes me sing. Despite smelling great, this combo of beef (quiero cabra), cheese, cilantro, onion, tomatillo sauce, and consommé was only 'meh' in the taste department. The flavors were flat/muddled rather than distinct and vibrant. Again, at just under $5, not what I was expecting. Korean - and maybe that was my mistake. The tacos I enjoyed the most were the least traditional. The Korean taco was a nice blend of smell, sight and taste. Shaved beef, creay sauce, sesame, scallions, shaved carrots, and bbq sauce joined forces to make me take notice. Each bite was, "okay. I see you, Korean taco. I'm going in for another bite." Coco - hands down my favorite. It wasn't even close. I found myself wishing I'd ordered 3 of these (and one Korean). If you come here, order this taco. It will knock your socks off. First off, the tortilla is fried (crunchy!) and cheesy. That in and of itself is a testimony but within that tortilla is adobo marinated beef, cilantro, onions, shaved cabbage, radishes, and charred tomatillo salsa. Ridiculous. Juicy. Packed with flavor. Dynamic mix of textures. Assertive. Bold. Different. This taco made me round up even though I spent over $20 for FOUR tacos 45+ minutes from home. It was *that* good. Go getchu some! *30 minutes from Nashville is a lie from the pits of Hell. read more

Not sure why I haven't reviewed West 22 earlier. This has become a regular spot for us. You can't really ever go wrong with West 22, they know what they are doing and go above and beyond. Food is always spot on and they are sneaky good with their dessert. A top option in Murfreesboro! read more

This was our first time here. We were immediately impressed by the friendly staff and by the overall cleanliness of the restaurant. My wife ordered the Kitchen Sink Bowl. It was huge, full of chicken, rice, beans, lettuce, pico, pickled onions, and more. She loved it! After talking to the staff, I ordered a California Burrito (it's not on their regular menu) and it was fantastic! Tons of carne asada with guacamole, potatoes, and a perfectly cooked, large tortilla. This was definitely one of the best burritos I've had in Nashville. The restaurant is super casual and you order at the counter. Their food and service are really something special. I highly recommend West 22 Tacos if you are in the area! read more

We had been wanting to try this place for a while. Finally stopped on a random Tuesday night. There were only 2 other people there. It's not a very big restaurant. You go up to the front to order and then they bring the food to your table. We had a hard time finding a clean table, despite only 2 people being there. My son ordered 3 fish tacos and I got an Adobo Cobb Salad. It was over $30 and we only got tap water to drink. The food was good, but I can't afford to spend $5 per taco. read more

I love their tacos! Too many places in town with "Mexican" tacos and the protein has no flavor. West 22 Tacos are great! The fish taco is my favorite but I've tried them all, and you cant go wrong. read more

Ordered 3 different types of tacos, and 2 bowls. Everything was big portions, fresh and tasted delicious. Shared some elotes which were just fantastic and real roasted on the cob too. Not cheating like a lot of places do with just canned corn and mayo and some cheese and tajin thrown on top. Anybody can do that lol. No this place is legit. Everyone should go here. Bonus also for having Mexican drinks like my favorite tamarind Jarritos and horchata. We sat outside, and even though the restaurant is right on Memorial, the patio is around the back, so it was nice and quiet. The staff were friendly and service was great. Everyone needs to try this place. read more

Fresh uniquely made tacos. From California is what we were told. We loveeee this place. I love the decor, food, and options! Service is pretty straightforward, we highly recommend! read more

This lil taco hut was recommended by some family in the area. They have a fast casual set up where you order and sit down while your fiesta is created. I opted for the surf and turf burrito and my wife had a few tacos and the queso. The birra tacos seem to be one of their specialties. The street corn was excellent but I may be guilty of loving mediocre street corn. Everything was fresh and delicious. Most of the individual tacos are $4+. We saw an adjacent table order the $50 taco platter and that appeared to be taco bliss. You couldn't be sad except to have some of it boxed up for later! We liked the relaxed vibe and they had a patio for warmer weather. Great location with a bunch of heavy hitter retailers within a 5 min drive. Great choice for carry out if you need a break thru the week for date night at home! read more

Food was just ok. Nothing terrible but also nothing memorable. Small dining area clean. Nice staff

Holy mother of tacos. I had heard mixed reviews, and I feel like some ppl may not understand greatness. Everything we tried was excellent. Friendly fast service. I am not sure I can choose a favorite taco. The trio was a great starter. We went later in the day trying to cut down on the line, it didn't work. But it goes fast order some chips and relax. The birria was excellent, the taquitos were great and the coco was very flavorful. It was delicious and if you haven't been yet shame on you! read more

My mouth is watering just thinking about it. They have really fun tacos you can't get just anywhere. Slightly more expensive for a street taco than other places, but the flavor is there and they put a good amount of meat inside, so I think they're worth it. read more

Wow! A great taqueria. The steak asada taco is flavorful and they give you a lime wedge squeeze over it. The street corn is on the cob so get ready to get your fingers dirty - worth it. The fish taco is also quite tasty. The music is lively and the staff is nice. Would have given it a five, but they only have low quality plastic wear and the tea machine was broken. You have to stand in line to order, but they bring the food to your table. read more

This place has the tacos! West 22 Tacos brings me right back to those beachside SoCal taco shops. Deep flavors and laid back vibes. The chips and guacamole were a great to start the meal and I'm a sucker for huge dollop of that green gold. The tacos were a little pricey, but 100% worth it! The fish tacos are huge and loaded sautéed and picked onions, verde salsa, and a huge piece of breaded and fried fish. The birria tacos are pure juicy bliss. The meat is super tender and flavorful; once it's dunked in the consommé, ** chefs kiss**! It all comes together. The tortillas are made in house and are amazing. A perfect mix of slightly chewy and soft textures. The parking here is tough so be prepared. They also have a large open outdoor patio. So once it warms up make sure to take advantage! read more

This place is a little hidden. Honestly I ended up here because it was the only place with less than 30min wait on cinco de mayo. And I'm actually glad I found them. The place has a small indoor seating area. Clean, trendy looking and an outdoors seating area with twinkle hanging lights. They have veggie options which is rare in a Mexican place but truly appreciated. It's definitely family friendly. The tacos are bigger than I would expect but so is the price as well. Taste-wise is very authentic. On this day they had beer and margaritas, im not sure if they would serve this on a regular day. You order at the counter and you select your table. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their menu options and substitutions. read more

I am giving West 22 Tacos four stars because the food was good, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I took one star off because I couldn't find napkins anywhere and my guacamole was delivered without any. Also, the two steak asada tacos I got were yummy, but they were very wet...the tortilla fell apart almost immediately and then I couldn't find any silverware without asking for it. That said, the guacamole was good and tasted fresh. I think the chips were my favorite part, they were salty and crispy - so yummy. Overall the steak asada tacos I got were good. I just wish they weren't so drippy. read more
