I stop in often and part of my order always rotates around 4 or 5 bean and cheese burritos. Today called in 5 bean and cheese burritos and they're now $6 EACH!!! It seems my long time relationship with Oscars Taco shops has come to an end.... This is my favorite place to go for as I call fast Mexican food. I mean where can you go and get Carne Asada, pico, guacamole, sour cream salad, and a drink for $12.95 and have leftovers. The service is quick and always with a smile even when they are supper busy. The restaurant isn't anything fancy but it is comfortable to go in grab a quick lunch with friends and while out and about. The food has a great taste and reheats well. Oscars is always great. I have never received a bad meal from any of the many Oscars Taco Shop locations I have been to. And this newer location on Church street is no exception. I really liked the flow/interior of this location with a long simi-private Hi-top table on the furthest side which would be great for a small gathering of friends or co-workers I brought my youngest son in to get a couple of his favorite burritos. First-time customer here. This place is great! I ordered the carne asada nachos with beans and pico de gallo. Left off the cheese and sour cream because of my dairy allergy. Nachos were delivered quickly and were a large portion. Very tasty. Reasonable prices. I eat here every week or two, and food is always good. I prefer to get the grande burrito but having tried a number of different tacos and I can recommend those as well. The queso is good and I find very well priced for a 4 oz for two people to share. I don't typically get the plate to include rice and beans but when I have it was also good. I loved the other location on Old Fort and I'm so happy they opened this one closer to my stomping grounds. It's across the street from Savannah Ridge at the end of a newly built strip. The store (as you'd expect) is very clean. The only criticism I could give about this location is the layout. When you walk in through the main entrance you must weave your way around tables to get to the ordering line. A minor complaint but one that I'm sure someone else will notice. If you've never been to an Oscar's just know that the food (in my experience) is always very fresh. The service (again, in my own experience) is fast and friendly. If you like good fast Mexican food similar in demographic to Moe's, Chipotle, Freebirds, etc. then you're bound to understand and love this place. My personal go-to is the combination #12 burrito of choice (chicken). The grande is my favorite- bring your appetite! I will usually eat half for lunch and the rest for an afternoon snack. The refried beans are awesome and the rice is decent. Go and check 'em out! read more

For years we have gone to a different location, but now the church street location is closer to where we moved to. Their food is even better and they have never made a mistake on my meal either. As far a fast food taco shops goes I really like this one. They prepare it to order. The customer service was really good and she wanted to make sure my order was exact so she waited patiently for me while I waited on a text from my husband to clarify what he wanted. We all ate chicken quesadillas and cheese fries. I will say I wasn't thrilled about the cheese fries. It seemed weird to me to have a Mexican cheese dip on fries. It made them real squishy but it didn't take away enough for me to rate lower than a 4. Will I eat here again?
