It's just a road side taco stand, but it serves some of the best street style tacos in the area in my opinion. Parking can be tight, seating is limited to outdoor. There is a restroom. So all the bases are covered. Menu is outside the building, you go to the window on the left, order and pay. You will get a beeper/pager and you can wait on their benches or go sit in your vehicle while you anxiously await the beeper to summons you back to the window for your order! Pastor & Carnitas are my favorites, but I've not had a bad one yet of the other fillings. Don't let the appearance fool you. This is a gem! read more

As a well seasoned taco connoisseur, I don't take my tacos lightly. Their elegance. The complexity. Their beauty. The love. Tacos are designed to satisfy every tastebud, and to cure any form of depression. It's rare I rate any place which distributes man's greatest food, with anything more than 3 stars but Taco Station has earned an impressive 4. It's a sin to add lettuce to burritos I do appreciate the freshness and (although timely) the length it takes to prepare our order. There's a small area to sit outside, under cover but I wouldn't suggest it, unless it's nice weather and you're comfortable with trains blaring your eardrums to burst. These are SOLID Street Tacos!!! This place reminds me of some roadside Mexican places I've enjoyed driving through Texas. They were a little busy and with the traffic on Murfreesboro Rd it can be difficult to talk with the lady taking your order. I asked for a steak and a chicken taco, but was delivered two steak tacos. Not to worry, she fixed my order and gave me the extra steak taco. I loved the steak tacos, great flavor and when you add the sautéed onions...WOW!!! The chicken taco was good, but the steak overshadowed the chicken one. I did sample the two sauces provided, while the tacos didn't need any enhancements, but these sauces were too hot for my taste buds. We moved from CA 2 months ago and have been on the hunt for good Mexican food. We tried this place today and it's delicious! Beans and rice are so flavorful. I got the carne asana and barbacoa tacos and they were great and full of meat for Street tacos. My husband got the carne asada plate and there was so much meat, he loved it. Definitely will come back. The only downside is the seating. It's all outdoor seating and there were just too many flies. Tired this out for an early lunch and so glad we did. We pass thos place going to and from work all the time. I ordered 4 different street tacos and my husband got the carne asada burrito. Everything was good and the sauces they give you on the side are good but definitely habe a kick to them especially the red one. We will definitely be coming here more frequently. Good prices for the portions, friendly Stagg and decent amount of parking and you can even sit outside to eat if you like. read more

The food is always amazing and has been for the few years we've been enjoying from here!! We drive almost 2 hours to get food here. Last visit though, we were a little disappointed. They didn't give us some of our food ordered and paid for, and we were shocked at the difference we've never experienced before! 1 burrito was half the size of the other one but were the exact same thing ordered, they left out 1 of our salsas, queso dips, and order of chips. We always get the same thing. Yes we should've verified that we got our food order correct before leaving, but haven't had any issues thus far, so we trusted for it not to be like that!! We had already gotten back onto the interstate to be stuck in traffic for over 30 mins so we didn't want to chance it all over again. Next time, we will definitely make sure before leaving. Why are you asking for a tip at a take out window ?! Charge 15% tip on $24 order for take out! $4 for handing me my food is trash . The woman shoved the card reader in my face, I couldn't even read it because she held it so high. She was not courteous or nice. Ambiance is the Highway and train and a sliver of dining space by a mechanic shop. Want come back . The food was not very flavorful , taco shell was thick and hard to bite into. Unassuming little place on the side of South Lowry Street beside an auto repair shop. I had passed by this place many times on my way to and from work, just decided to try it today. Authentic carnitas and steak street tacos served in corn tortillas were really delicious. Got a steak quesadilla for my son. The flour torilla was perfectly cooked, the steak inside was moist and tasty. Seafood taco with shrimp and fish was scrumptious. This is pretty much a to-go taco stand, though they do have 3 picnic tables set up for folks waiting and if you want to dine al fresco. Place is DELICIOSO! They even have impossible meat for vegetarian option and taste soooo good.

My family and I have eaten from here multiple times, the food has been pretty consistent and pretty well seasoned, order early they have run out of rice lol.. we favor the burritos, with everything.. the hot sauce is great both green and red, very very good. We also order a side of rice and beans. The burritos are kinda on the small side so we usually order 3 and split the last one. Just a FYI. But a pretty good find. I would give them a try.
