5 stars! I had the Guacamole Casero, horchata, two pastor tacos, and two carnitas tacos, and everything was delicious. The staff was super friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the food was presented really well. I'm from Southern California, I enjoy street tacos, and this is about as close as it gets to back home. Great atmosphere, quality food, and excellent service. I'll come back and would happily bring friends with me. read more

Service is always so nice and their Pastor tacos freakin slap. Great spot to eat in the Spring Hill area!

Good attentive service. Fun bright atmosphere! Food is fresh, guacamole casero was excellent as was the tacos! My daughter loved her shrimp quesadilla! Portion size was just right. Topped it off with the churros.. well worth it. Came out hot, fresh and delicious. Definitely will be back! read more

Good food and portion sizes. Service as well very timely. Ambiance is alright. Very authentic.

The food is mid. I usually go to El Molcajete, and didnt want to make the drive from Columbia. I definitely regret it. The horchata was watered down & they definitely skimp you on the meat for the entrees. $20 for this is wild. I'll never cheat on E.M again read more

Woah! This place is a jewel! Fantastic service EVERY time we've been. The order is always correct. And the tacos, oh man, the tacos are delicious. They have simple options for your picky eaters and some pretty outrageous options for those wanting to try something new. It does take a little time for the food as they cook to order, but it's worth it! We've started calling in a pickup order, so it's ready when we come. Getting out onto hwy 31 can be tricky, so watch out for that. read more

Pastor is delicious here. They do that well!! Burritos were small in size for the price and bland. Carne asada was dry. Ground taco meat was lacking in flavor and chewy. Lengua was good. Horchata was creamy and flavorful. Service was excellent. read more

Great food...Great Service...Always our go to taco stop & more when we are in the Spring Hill / Columbia area.

Best carne asada tacos in Spring Hill. Coming from Southern California, I've been on the hunt for great street tacos & tacos el patron checks all the boxes. Make sure to get the green sauce! The service is always 10/10 & the owner is so sweet. They treat us like family when we come in. Couldn't recommend this place more. read more

Oh my gosh! We were looking to try a New Mexican restaurant and saw the reviews on this one. I'm so glad we did! The service was excellent- kind and funny and immediate attention to drinks- and the food was incredible. I had the fried fish tacos and they were absolutely divine. Sometimes restaurants just don't know how to make the right but I am so glad to find one that does! My fiancé got the street tacos- and you HAVE to believe the reviews on this one. Get the Pastor taco!! He said it's the best taco he's ever had! We can't wait to go back. read more

Cool spot, very authentic, super friendly staff, good prices, good hot sauce, good El Pastore, pretty much the best tacos around here. Now the things that I didn't really like, and I hope that they read this post are the lights are super bright and the chicken taquitos have zero flavor. Been there three times and I'm definitely be going back. read more

Great service, but I did not care for the lunch special which consisted of three small tacos which was fine. I asked for chicken one had beef in it and I don't care for the corn tortillas because they fall apart. I also had The rice and beans the refried beans had zero taste. The chips were fresh, but the salsa was justOK. I ate half of it and threw the rest away. I didn't care for it. read more

I came in here based on a recommendation, and let me tell you. This place did NOT disappoint! These are by far the best/ most authentico tacos in all of Spring Hill! The flavors, the texture, and the ambiance is just like the taquerias from where I come from. I tried the Lengua, quesabirria, al pastor tacos, the ceviche con Pulpo, and a burrito at this spot. I was impressed! The flavor is like the places where I'm from and I can't wait to go back and to try more! My family left full, happy, and excited to find a great authentic Mexican spot in our new home town. I highly recommend! Service was excellent, food was excellent, and the place was overall just a wonderful experience. We will be back and are so happy that we found you! read more

First time here and in no way disappointed. This place is small, quaint, and not fancy. It is totally about the food and service. The service was great, not on top of you but there to explain and deliver. The food- oh my.... We had 10 tacos to sample what was available and let me say it was 10/10. They all rocked. This place is traditional Mexican and very tasty. Definitely worth a visit. read more

The best Mexican food in Spring hill! Service is always amazing and the food is always fresh and delicious! 10/10 recommend!

First time in and was greeted and seated immediately. This is the original Jack of Hearts space and the series of other eateries that followed. Food was average. Burrito was claimed to be dry, tacos were good. Not sure about the pastor claim. Pricing seems reasonable. Service was ok. Huge miss which I'll never understand. Bringing only some of the meals. Is this so some food gets cold while wishing the host will say start without us??? Overall a decent alternative, but with at least 5 other places to grab a taco nearby, not sure this one stands out. read more

My wife and I went here last night as we are both avid Mexican food fans! We couldn't have enjoyed it more, so much so that we're about to order takeout again tonight. The prices were on point, the flavors were amazing -- you can tell they put a lot of time, effort, and love into their recipes. I had the carne asada tacos and my wife had the chicken tacos and they were both outstanding! The three different salsas that they have are AMAZING. They have a regular, green, and spicy red and we loved each one. So stoked to have a great taco shop here in SH! read more

This was my first visit to the restaurant. I was driving past, and the word "Taco" on the signage drew me right in! The team greeted me immediately and were super friendly and accommodating throughout. I was so excited to see chilaquiles on the menu. I ordered mine with beef. Not too salty, perfectly tangy and complex tomatillo sauce, and deliciously seasoned steak made this dish a new fave. I'm craving it as I type this review! Stopping by to check on all tables, the manager took time to help me decide on my next beverage. I wanted something less common, so he suggested the apple soda. As weird as that sounds, it was delicious. The space is small but feels open and airy. It works! I'll definitely be back with my husband in tow as soon as possible! read more

Amazing customer service, great variety of tacos not a huge menu. So everything is made a the moment and fresh, to start we order the patitas de puerco and guacamole casero. Chuncky pieces of avocado with a combination of pico de gallo. Michelada and words can't describe how I feel about the flavors. My favorite spot. read more

Meh. Nothing to rave home about. I'm a Hispanic LA girl, so I was looking forward to this place based on the reviews. The service and ambiance was great. I was happy to hear good Mexican music, and the servers were so sweet. The food was at a good price point, but the flavor was lacking. I still can't find a place around here that uses actual grilled carne asada for their dishes. This is just another spot that uses some type of steamed/stewed meat as their asada. I think carne asada should have that charbroiled grill crisp to it. So that was a miss for me. Also, as someone mentioned before, their red salsa is slightly sweet, which makes me think they used canned tomato sauce. The flour tortillas were also those super soft mission tortillas. Not the flakey papery flour tortillas Idk seems like another Mexican restaurant catering to a toned down version of Mexican food for the clientele. read more

Great and delicious food!! We moved here about a year ago from CA and have been on the hunt for some good Mexican food. Seems hard to find here in the south. Always order the street tacos and they are amazing. Their guacamole is also a great choice. The service here is always amazing and quick. read more

Food is mid, el Pastor is more like trosos de puerco en adobo, aguas frescas are actually not fresh, they are powdered flavored drink which is disappointing considering they are not cheap. Burritos are expensive and small. Not worth it, specially for a family of 5 and you are left hungry when you are done since they are small portion. Would not go back again. read more

The food was amazing super flavorful and clearly made with care. Service was friendly and on point the whole time. Definitely a spot I'd come back to. Pastor was amazing! read more

Definitely I'll come back, the fish tacos are sooooo good. Their service is really fast.

I ordered the taco salad and the traditional shell I was used to was replaced with a very doughy, not crisp, pie crust shaped outer shell. The salad part was dry and lacked flavor. The service was fine and my order was a takeout read more
