Great place to eat if you don't have a ton if time because the food is delicious, and it comes out fast. I always get the taco salads. They cost 8.99 + the drink. It's a good amount of food. You will be full! They have hot sauce (which is just salsa verde and nit hot at all) and mild sauce if you ask for it. Now there's an up charge for it, but the queso is very good here! Their food is delicious with simple ingredients that's always fresh. I love fish tacos and vegetarian tacos. If you love crunchy hard shell tacos, you can always request for it to be switched. Tip- every Tuesday after 4 pm all tacos are half off, except the shrimp tacos. This is a even better deal, the tacos around around 1.45 per taco. What a great find! My husband and I were craving tacos when we happened upon this restaurant. The menu had a large selection and the prices are unbeatable. We both got way too much food, but were so happy to sample several items. We tried several different tacos, a bean and cheese burrito, and a breakfast burrito. I work in Murfreesboro and my family was eating lunch at the Church Street location. My wonderful husband offered to bring me lunch because I could not leave at the time they were there. I ordered online to make it easier on him. Well, I accidentally ordered at the wrong location (he was at Church Street, I ordered at Memorial), but I immediately called the Memorial Blvd location and explained. (not even 5 minutes later. I ordered my food at 11:57 AM and called at 12:01PM) and they told me my food was ready and refused to refund me, that if I called sooner they could have cancelled. In my opinion, I feel I called faster than most, but what do I know. Well, my sweet husband ended up ordering me a burrito from the Church Street location where he was eating, so I ended up with a $26 mediocre burrito and a sad heart. I am so disappointed and I will NEVER give them my business again. read more

The two lazy young girls who take your order at the front desk daily, are always on their phones and laugh at you when you ask questions. They are very condescending and rude. I don't know how they still work there because they do this every time that anybody comes in, my fiancé even speaks Spanish to them and they still act ignorant. I ordered three tacos and simply asked that the guacamole gets switched to Cheese sauce since I don't eat avocados, this has been done several times before by the same lady taking my order. Instead, she charges me three dollars for a 4 ounce of cheese sauce, which is not what I ordered. I ask if I can at least get chips with it at least because I have a tub of cheese sauce, she says that will be extra and laughs at me. I am a taco connoisseur. I could eat them for every meal and never get tired of them. I was traveling for work and got extremely excited when I found this place on Yelp. Great reviews and the pictures looked fantastic. I was sadly disappointed. I had to add an extreme amount of hot sauce for the crunchy beef taco to have any flavor. At first I attempted to douse it with cheese dip but the cheese dip was runny and lacked any sort of flavor as well. Sadness immediately came over me Not only did my taco suck but the cheese dip did so too. I never waste cheese dip...can't say never anymore because I totally left that runny flavorless mass of cheese on the table to be trashed. OMG I hate even writing that I threw away CHEESE DIP. A few days ago, my husband and I decided to give Oscar's a shot because I wanted fish tacos and we were too lazy to cook. I was really surprised at how AWESOME this place is! The girls at the counter were nice, the prices were really reasonable, and they serve beer. So far, so good. My husband ordered the vegetarian burrito, chimi style (deep fried and covered in queso), I ordered two fish tacos (obvs), and we shared an order of regular nachos (covered in cheese and jalapeños). Seriously that burrito ruled. It was stuffed with vegetarian goodies and the queso was tasty. But deep frying the burrito took it to a whole 'nother level. It also came with a side of guacamole which was tasty as well. The nachos were piled high with jalapeños. Which was awesome. I remember telling my husband I had never gotten that many jalapeños on restaurant nachos before but I wasn't mad about it! I'm only deducting one star on my rating because they use yellow cheese for the nachos. While I'm a sucker for yellow, ballpark nacho cheese, I want white queso on my nachos if I'm eating Mexican food! Come on people, toss that yellow cheese! Moving on to the fish tacos... WOW. I was a little skeptical because they were breaded and fried flounder rather than my typical go-to, grilled fish tacos. I normally don't even like flounder but I still have to try fish tacos if they are on a menu. They were SO good. (Like I want them right now but Oscars is closed). The breading was crunchy and not doughy or greasy. The corn tortillas were delish. They were topped with pico de gallo, Oscar's special sauce (some kind of crema), and cabbage, with lime wedges on the side. At $2.29 a taco, I have found my new go-to. My mouth is watering. I like that this place is open early with a full menu. The food here is typical Mexican fare but somehow different than the usual American Mexican restaurants. It is definitely recognizable but unique at the same time... it is sort of it's own thing. We've yet to have anything bad and look forward to trying something different in the future. read more
