It did take long to come out but we were okay with waiting. The food is delicious and authentic. My enchiladas was filled with peppers, onions. The prices are very reasonable.

We were greeted with smiles and had very good service from all who came to the table. My chicken chimichanga meal was delicious and my family enjoyed their meals also. I do look for cleanliness and this time everything from the table to the restroom was very clean. I always check these to decide if I can stay to eat.

It was good. A few weeks before that I tried to order thru Postmates but the order was canceled because Mi's iPad some how was broken so had to wait until Postmates got them a replacement. I enjoyed the flavor from the burrito. It had long fajita meat that needed to be cut & distributed evenly. The fajita meat was all on one side & was filled with onions throughout the rest. I still enjoyed the flavors. They had a large selection of different burritos, which is my fave. It actually took me a good minute to decide. And for me if you don't have the right chips then that's vital. I enjoyed their chips! The folks that answered the phone were very nice & helpful.

We had a wonderful lunch today at Mi Patria Mexican Restaurant. We've eaten here many times before and have enjoyed them all. Out of all the Mexican restaurants in Murfreesboro, I love the desserts here the best (the chocolate chimichanga is simply luscious)!!! Today, (or should I say as always when we come here?) I had the shredded beef stuffed poblanos. No one else makes them like they do here, in all of Murfreesboro. My oldest son had the California burrito with shredded chicken and Patty had some nachos plate (which looked kind of blah, but she really enjoyed them. I also have to mention that they have great salsa and EXCELLENT MARGARITAS here!!!

Delicious authentic won't be disappointed. Gluten free options too. I had the spinach enchiladas and they weren't greasy, they were fresh.

Came here for lunch, great food and lots of it. Service was good. Plus not a chain but locally owned place. I would recommend.

I popped in one day after running errands around Murfreesboro and when I first saw that it was an old BK converted into Mexican restaurant, I thought to myself this is either going to be distrusting or delicious, and lucky for me it was the latter! El Cubilete serves up authentic Mexican food, and while you can still get the classics you are used to, they focus a lot on the true Mexican classics. Being the gringo I am, I went with my tried and true chicken, rice and cheese sided with some chori-queso. While the order was basic, the food itself was not. The queso, chips, chicken, tortillas and everything was fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. To with the food, they brought out their house red and green sauce. SPICY is an understatement, but I could handle in small dabs, and through that realized while the green was milder, the red had better flavor. But honestly it was lose-lose for me with those sauces. In addition to the food, they have a small drink menu with beers, frozen drinks and a solid selection of agua frescas. Service was stellar. The owner was super kind, welcoming me in, checking on me during my meal and ultimately ringing me out. All the servers were friendly and helpful. Overall, odd layout and set up, along with service being communal (everyone serves everyone together), which is a bit odd...but even with all that, the food and service speak up and stand alone. Great spot with good folks and tasty food! I would certainly swing back through when in Murfreesboro.

Finally... A burrito that comes close to what we used to get back in California! We've been…read moresearching for so long and I had honestly given up multiple times, but like all great explorers, we endured and persevered. Taqueria Lupita is a great spot nestled inside a gas station market. As soon as we walked in, I knew we were in for a treat. The smell of meat on the griddle and the aroma of toasted tortillas met our noses and it made my mouth instantly start salivating. The team behind the counter was working fast and got our order out super quick. I opted for a chicken burrito and it took all of my self control to keep from eating it on the drive home. But like all great explorers of old, we had to take our bounty back to the motherland for all to enjoy. I cut it open and see what the cross section looked like, and it was practically perfect. I forgot to ask for avocado, so that's on me. We got the red and green salsas with it and they were both great. I loved the roasty undertones and heat of the red salsa. The first bite of this burrito took me back to another place, far from Tennessee. It was a glorious first bite. The melty cheese, the rice, beans and the chicken combined to make the most delicious symphony of flavors. I can't say enough good things about this burrito, you have to try it for yourself. I'm eager to try more things on their menu, especially the torta, it looked amazing.

As soon as we saw the (previously Oakland) Raiders logo, we knew it was gonna be good! I got the steak (asada) burrito - it came with rice, beans, meat, sour cream, and lettuce. If I had to give a critique, I'd say it's just missing a little guac. But oh my word, this burrito transported me right back to California! The flavors were spot on, the ratios were perfect. It may have taken us five years, but we finally found a Mexican spot that will definitely be in our rotation. It's located inside a small gas station, which confused us at first. But once we walked in, it was clear where to order. Both guys working seemed extremely kind and helpful, and overall just happy to be serving people incredible food.

The margarita was good. I ordered the tamale and taco plate (steak). It was a large portion. The tamale was very good, the tacos so-so. We ordered a margarita tower, which was advertised for 37.99. Only six out of the seven of us drank from it and told the waitress to spilt it six ways. That means it would roughly be 6.33 a person. She charged us 7.50 a person meaning she charged us $45. With the liquor tax on there it would roughly be $7 per person. I understand it's only a fifty cents difference, but the attitude we got from the waitress was unacceptable. So not only did we get charged more than we should have, we all ordered water on top of that and she only refilled ONE of the waters ONCE. We also did not see a sign where it said and 18% gratuity will be added to party's six or more. So we requested for it to be removed because we believe the waitress did not do a good job. Like I said only filled one water out of seven once. She proceeded to argue with my boyfriend about it. We will definitely not be back!
