Double Wide Brisket & Pulled Pork
    Isles G.

Busy place and I can see why, the BBQ is delicious. It's definitely the best tasting pulled pork and brisket that we've had in Columbia with some awesome sauce! The Pit master, Bobby, is super nice. Oh before I forget, the coleslaw and beans are very tasty too. We cleaned the plate, so we'll surely be back for more. A lovely family that knows Texas BBQ doing a great job in Columbia.

Great hospitality! The food was delicious! The pulled pork and brisket was moist and flavorful. Haven't been to too many bbq joints in Tennessee but this would be a great place to start. Although wish there were more sides to choose from.

Brisket and cheddar jalepeno sausage both killer!!! Bbq sauce and beans are out of this world and the hot corn is outstanding!! Tacos were 100/10 Highly recommend!! Will def be back very soon:)

Stopped by for some local BBQ. It was fantastic! We tried both the brisket and the pulled pork in sandwich form. The brisket wasn't full Texas brisket but was pretty close and was some of the best I've had here locally. The pulled pork also was pretty good - better than other local competition so far. The corn side and baked beans were also delectable. The staff was very pleasant and helped with recommendations as well! Will absolutely be back. The Venue is also super cool - very modern and it looks like a lot of new fun places are coming to the area so we will be back to check it out in the future!

I have been recommended this place by multiple people throughout the years and finally got a chance to give it a try. (Well, I say that but mainly because I go to Gold's Deli everytime I'm in Columbia. So it was time to share the love) They have a pretty large menu of various sandwiches, I wish I had grabbed a picture of them. I asked the cashier if she had to pick one sandwich which one would it be, she gave me a list of about 3 that all sounded amazing. The fourth she suggested was if you're overwhelmed or unsure just get the Italian. I LOVE Italian sandwiches so that is what I ended up with. Everything here is fresh so I waited about 5-10 minutes for my sandwich to get made. I will definitely be trying out some of the more adventurous creations next time but this was so good. This Italian has a freshness to it that I have a hard time describing but their olive oil blend is lovely, the olives, banana peppers and lettuce helped with that fresh taste as well I'm sure. The bread is incredible! It taste house baked, crisp outer crust with a pillowy interior. The house chips were also really good and salted perfectly. The inside is cool, it's a microbrewery and there's subtle like alien themes throughout? Overall can't wait to try it out again, stop by if you're ever down in Columbia!

The restaurant itself is in an old industrial building, the CAB, that has been a number of establishments just in the past 4 years. I don't know why most places can't sustain themselves in this location, but my guess is that they are hidden and if you don't know they are there, you'll never find them. The menu is limited to about an about 8 or 9 different sandwiches. The matador is a good, traditional roast beef sandwich. Again, it's not going to knock your socks off, but it's good. Sides come separate. Here's the rub though, the couple of times I've been in, nobody has ever been very friendly. You go into Gold's or the BBQ place, you get a warm welcome and good conversation. Here, it's dark, industrial, and eh, "what do you want for lunch" kind of attitude. I'm not knocking the place. It's a decent lunch, but they need to "wow" their customers so they tell people about it because of its hidden location. I hope they do well, but somehow they need to do better than what's been a revolving door of lunch counters and coffee shops that have populated the Columbia Arts Building.
