Step into a 1960's time capsule that reminds you that Better Days are ahead... When you walk inside, you're immediately stepping back in time. The service was great; the cook actually walked up to our table to ask how everything was... I couldn't tell you the last time anyone did that. The menu selection offers enough to cover most tastebuds and preferences for all ages. The cheesesteak was prepared well and the flavors married well together, as was the cheeseburger. The chicken salad sandwich was light and refreshing. The hot dog was a hot dog. Nuff said. The only "ding" were the desserts. We got the chocolate pie and apple pie. The apple was a standard pie, but the chocolate pie just seemed dry and a little old. But overall, we loved it and we'll definitely be coming back. From the decor, to the music -- Better Days is truly in a class of its own.

Better Days diner is an excellent diner joint. My husband and I went there for a late lunch today and were impressed with the atmosphere, and food . T gave good service as well.

Came in for lunch. It was a little before noon and the place was completely empty. I was immediately greeted and took a seat. Server immediately took my drink order as I looked at the menu. After I ordered it didn't take long for me to receive my food. Everything looked good and as I ordered it. Burger was very good. The bun was wonderful, soft and fresh. The meat and all the toppings were fresh and tasty. Tater tots were crispy, but nothing special. I also ordered a fried bologna sandwich. It was fine, but would have been better with the addition of lettuce. The french fries had a unique style and we're very crispy, but bland. It would have been nice if they had some kind of special seasoning on them. Overall, the food was good, but nothing to get excited about. The service was fast and friendly. I was the only one there, so I can't comment on how it would be if they were busy. The decor was very nice and has improved since the last time I was there before the new name. One other observation is the sign is not very easy to read, especially at night. The colors kind of blend together and it can't be easily read from a distance. I recommend this spot and would come here again because the food and service is solid, and with a few tweaks could be exceptional.

Great service, cool atmosphere, yummy food!! We've been looking (and looking and looking and looking) for a local brunch place and we're happy to say we've finally found it here. We didn't have kids with us but the table nearby did and the kids meals are served in cute paper cars so we're definitely bringing the niece here. Partner had the veggie scramble and was happy that the veggies were freshly cooked and cooked well. My biscuit sandwich was delicious. The biscuit is like a cloud. Tots are crispy and the mini waffles were the perfect amount of sweet. Check this place out, you won't regret it!!

Good food and great service. The 50's themed decorations in the restaurant are fun. Would recommend giving it a try if you haven't yet.

When we arrived, we were warmly greeted. Inside is clean with 4 tables for sitting inside to eat. The restaurant is small and cutely decorated. The display cases with meats, cheeses and different salads and condiments looked great. The deli meats for the subs is sliced very thin. We started with lasagna and garlic bread that Dave and I shared. The filling had beef and Italian sausage and it was delicious. The cheese pull was good and not too much. The red sauce was very good. 5/5 We ordered foods to go after eating the lasagna in store. I failed to take a picture of the lasagna. Suffice it to say it was inhaled quickly. We tried the eggplant panini in store too. Everything else was to go. I ordered a Bruno Sub and asked for roasted red peppers to be added. Honestly I couldn't taste the roasted red peppers as there weren't very many added. There was a thin slice of 1 onion ring on the sub so I couldn't taste any onion at all. For me that's a fail as I like to taste ingredients. 4/5 The eggplant panini came with a side of marinara. I have had eggplant panini's before and was anticipating this one. When I saw it, I was very disappointed. There were 2 very thin slices of eggplant inside a sub roll that had been put in a panini press or under bricks to smash the bread down. The only taste was bread. Marinara was good but couldn't rescue the panini. 1/5 We bought 1 arancini and it came with marinara. I heated it up along with the marinara. One bite in and I was sold. I would definitely go back and order arancini again. The meat inside was flavored well and the marinara made everything come together well. 5/5 We ordered a pastrami. For us there was way too much fat and we couldn't remove the fat like we can in a Jewish deli because this meat was sliced paper thin. 3/5 The potato salad was lacking in flavor to me. There was a significant amount of mayo in my opinion. Dave liked it. 3/5 The marinated artichokes were delicious and so were the white bean salad. 5/5 Dave ordered a Super Sub. It had 4 meats plus lettuce, tomato, and cheese. There was a tiny sliver of onion but we couldn't taste it. He loved his sub. 5/5 The two cannoli's were delicious. I favored the vanilla and Dave favored the chocolate. 5/5 We will return as the food was good. If you are missing an Italian Deli taste, please stop by. This place makes everything from scratch. It was worth the trip.

The weird interaction with the server is why I'm giving it 3 stars. My husband ordered a burger, the waitress asked how he'd like it cooked, to which he responded "medium rare please". She looked at him like he was ordering raw chicken and goes "ON A BURGER?" To which I said, how would you order it? And she said "I order my burgers well done". He said "oh, no, medium rare please." To which she responded "okayyyy!" Like he's the idiot. The burger came and he started eating it, when she came back to ask how the food was she looks at the burger with a bite taken out and goes "a lot of red in there!" I just don't even know what to say, is this the first time anyone has ordered a med rare burger from her? That's how we've ordered it our whole lives. Even if it's "gross" or "dangerous" to her- it's really not her place to comment. If it's only proper to eat well done, then why did she think she was asking? She was very sweet and I would've given her 5 stars and a big tip if she hadn't made those comments. Just so bazaar. My husband and I are still scratching our heads about it.
