Let's start with a good... The diner is very nicely themed and decorated. The service was good and the food was just OK. Now, for the not so good... the serving sizes are small. They were also out of several things, including orange juice... We came on a weekday and not super late so it's odd that they were out of so many things. It would've been nice if they just had a sign showing all of the things that they were out of because we likely would have just gone to eat somewhere else. read more

Did the build your own burger. Had a beef patty with BBQ sauce and onions on Texas toast. Toast was nice a crispy and browned spot on. BBQ sauce had a nice smoky flavor to it. Sadly maybe a teaspoon of white onions was placed on this burger. When the menu pictures a nice slice of raw onion. So was disappointed with that. Tater tots was my side - very crispy and taste was good. Just seemed like they were small in the serving size. Seemed like had full of downsizing for serving sizes has come to this place. For the price, sad to see. Service was good but they seemed to be in a hurry to take our plates when we were still eating and also serve us our ticket to pay. This place was great! The prices were so reasonable and the service was friendly and helpful. The decor is 50s diner and it delivers on that promise. We went for breakfast. The coffee was delicious. I had an egg sandwich and it was so good, not greasy at all. The mini waffles and biscuits were delicious. Store tots are served on the side, and they were not greasy at all. You could taste the potato which seems like the norm but often isn't. I wish it was more crowded. I highly recommend it. read more

Came in for lunch. It was a little before noon and the place was completely empty. I was immediately greeted and took a seat. Server immediately took my drink order as I looked at the menu. After I ordered it didn't take long for me to receive my food. Everything looked good and as I ordered it. Burger was very good. The bun was wonderful, soft and fresh. The meat and all the toppings were fresh and tasty. Tater tots were crispy, but nothing special. I also ordered a fried bologna sandwich. It was fine, but would have been better with the addition of lettuce. The french fries had a unique style and we're very crispy, but bland. It would have been nice if they had some kind of special seasoning on them. Overall, the food was good, but nothing to get excited about. The service was fast and friendly. I was the only one there, so I can't comment on how it would be if they were busy. The decor was very nice and has improved since the last time I was there before the new name. One other observation is the sign is not very easy to read, especially at night. The colors kind of blend together and it can't be easily read from a distance. I recommend this spot and would come here again because the food and service is solid, and with a few tweaks could be exceptional. read more

Step into a 1960's time capsule that reminds you that Better Days are ahead... When you walk inside, you're immediately stepping back in time. The service was great; the cook actually walked up to our table to ask how everything was... I couldn't tell you the last time anyone did that. The menu selection offers enough to cover most tastebuds and preferences for all ages. The cheesesteak was prepared well and the flavors married well together, as was the cheeseburger. The chicken salad sandwich was light and refreshing. The hot dog was a hot dog. Nuff said. The only "ding" were the desserts. We got the chocolate pie and apple pie. The apple was a standard pie, but the chocolate pie just seemed dry and a little old. But overall, we loved it and we'll definitely be coming back. Everything about this experience was horrible. My server had a messy bun, black hoodie, black sweatpants, and fuzzy shoes, and checked on me about twice the entire time. Completely unprofessional and sloppy and I had to wait 10 minutes in the booth before I even got a menu. My Mac and cheese came out stiff and old looking, like it had been sitting forever, and I normally don't make bad reviews at all, but this is totally unacceptable, I had to keep waving her over to fill up my drink, and she was too busy talking to another table about babysitting for 5+ minutes. I have been ill so I went in with no appetite but I needed to eat. I was greeted warmly as I entered. The decor was right out of my past except the colors then were red and white. I was waited on quickly. I ordered the Classic hamburger. (I can always eat a burger,) It was great! The kind you need lots of napkins for - maybe a bib! I ate more than I had is several days. If you want to step back in time, this is the place. 1950's classic. Phone booth, old game shows, gas pump, old vinyls, wonderful music. Then you see the menu. The burgers are like you'd make at home. Ice cream floats and sundaes. All day breakfast if you desire. Absolutely will be back. read more

Great service, cool atmosphere, yummy food!! We've been looking (and looking and looking and looking) for a local brunch place and we're happy to say we've finally found it here. We didn't have kids with us but the table nearby did and the kids meals are served in cute paper cars so we're definitely bringing the niece here. Partner had the veggie scramble and was happy that the veggies were freshly cooked and cooked well. My biscuit sandwich was delicious. The biscuit is like a cloud. My wife and I were in the area late and needed a nice place to eat and stumbled upon this place and am so glad I did! The owner was there that evening and was kind enough to walk us through his specials and told us about his other locations. We didn't even realize that there was one in our town of Lewisburg. Give it 2 for service and decor. I had a classic cheeseburger smaller than a McDonald's single,with less taste. Kind of chewy. My husband had a had a double decker. He said, ham was dry.
