Just moved to the area from Cool springs, where there's tons of restaurants to choose from & I prefer Aubrey's to plenty of those. I've had two experiences and they were both 10/10. Samantha was our bartender/server the first time and she was knowledgeable about the menu and took care of us promptly. Last night, I sat at the bar where Taylor & trainee Alberto were kind and took good care of me. Full transparency, we exclusively sit at the bar or in the bar area like all the time. Leaving a review because I read some others that weren't great and I think people are just weird. Ordering a burger medium rare is in fact strange and they probably couldn't take a joke, lol. Aubrey's does not have a limited menu as they have a variety of options in each category and literally like 14 sides to choose from. Cheaper than J Alexander's, people just like to complain. I work in the service industry as a bartender, and Bar manager so I'm naturally kind of nitpicky about my food service. All in all, Aubrey's rocks and we are new regulars. read more

The food is descent and the service is typically good with occasional exceptions, ambiance is typical for the Aubrey's chain. The price is a bit out of line 4 scallops for $48 is certainly not fitting for a side and 4 scallops. The salmon for $31 and a cup of salty clam chowder for $6 is really out of line for this restaurant. We have gone here since they opened but the prices have really accelerated. $100 for 2 is really over the top compared to what I could get at Longhorn or other mid to upper restaurants read more

The food was good. I'd eat there again but there are plenty of other places in Spring Hill that are better in my opinion. The weird interaction with the server is why I'm giving it 3 stars. My husband ordered a burger, the waitress asked how he'd like it cooked, to which he responded "medium rare please". She looked at him like he was ordering raw chicken and goes "ON A BURGER?" To which I said, how would you order it? And she said "I order my burgers well done". He said "oh, no, medium rare please." To which she responded "okayyyy!" Like he's the idiot. The burger came and he started eating it, when she came back to ask how the food was she looks at the burger with a bite taken out and goes "a lot of red in there!" I just don't even know what to say, is this the first time anyone has ordered a med rare burger from her? That's how we've ordered it our whole lives. Even if it's "gross" or "dangerous" to her- it's really not her place to comment. If it's only proper to eat well done, then why did she think she was asking? Associate got us seated, she was able to brew a coffee for me late in the afternoon. The restaurant ambiance was smooth with music and pictures. I ordered salmon tacos, Cesar salad and fried tomatoes. Coffee was not hot and had a stale taste, fried tomatoes was bland, Cesar salad wasn't bad, but the tacos were very tasty, wife had patty melt she enjoyed it and uncle had the cheddar burger and he said it was excellent. Our first experience ordering to-go was great. Food was awesome, nothing was missing, and we were in and out. The second time, not so much. When we arrived at the pickup time, we were told our food wasn't ready because they only had three people in the kitchen and it would be another 20 minutes. We waited, and then still ended up with missing items. The food also wasn't as good this time. What really disappointed us was the service. No apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. I used to eat at Aubrey's in Knoxville on occasion and it was always good. This was our first visit to this location and it did not disappoint. First off, the service was excellent. We felt very well taken care of. We started with the sausage and pimento cheese app. It was delicious and also the first day they had it. That is a keeper. The grilled mahi mahi was good and we got two sides instead of a side and rice. Very nice that they offer that option. This was a nice Sunday meal and we will be back. read more

Ehhh, nobody enjoyed the visit. We had been wanting to try this for a while so figured we would go for Father's day. Granted the restaurant had been busy before we got there but the crowd had died off by 1:30 so we were seated right away. 2 rolls for six people seemed silly but turns out, nobody liked then so seemed like the right amount in hindsight. My fish and chips was cold, like really cold. They were out of salmon, which was what I wanted to order. Daughters pasta was clearly microwaved, also wife's mashed potatoes clearly had been sitting as it formed a skin. The "chips" were soggy, again clearly old food. The sides were forgotten and the drink orders were messed up. They get 2 stars just because the food did not look like everything was ordered from Sysco, otherwise it would have been a 1. Dishes were not finished and leftovers not taken home, that should spell it out. read more

There are not a lot of good food options, that I enjoy in Spring Hill, but Aubrey's is pretty good! The restaurant is pretty big and the menu is fantastic with lots of options to choose from. I love the thick cut potato chips, I could eat a million of them in one setting . I also enjoyed the rattlesnake pasta. From everything that I tasted including the salmon, haystack pasta, catfish and shrimp tacos they were all tasty. I can't wait to go back to try more food options. The service was impressive. Our waitress, Megan was fantastic, she provided the best customer service that I've had in a while! and despite the number of people that were in the restaurant there was not a long wait and the food service was prompt. Not good at all. We wanted the clam chowder & asked the waiter if it was Manhattan or New England. He had to ask 3 people before he got an answer. It basically was potato soup with a few clams added & over salted big time. 2 of us ordered the buttermilk chicken & honestly zero spices...it was so bland it was just chewing without any flavor. 1 person ordered the citrus lime chicken & it was so dry it was not eatable. Another order the cajun ribeye. He wasn't asked which size 12 oz. or 16 oz. & so of course was brought the 16 oz. which had absolutely no cajun seasoning. He had to ask the waiter if he ordered the cajun ribeye & the waiter said he did and that he could bring him some cajun seasoning if it wasn't seasoned enough. Well, the newness has definitely worn off at this place. Third time in a row going in and ordering to go. After the first time I called it in and arrived momentarily and received my food and it was already cold. The next few times I tried going in and ordering and waiting on the food- except the people at the bar don't go back and check on the food regularly, and the food is not brought out from the kitchen, the bartenders have to go back and check, both times the food was brought to me cold and not edible. Service is a key point in going out, we can all get crappy service at our own house, we don't need to go someplace and expect to pay 20% tip for it. This place is eat in option only. Finally got around to trying Aubrey's last week. Had heard mixed reviews about it but wanted to check it out in person. Waiter came to our table promptly and asked for our drink orders. I asked for their beer selection menu and was told they didn't have one and I would have to use my phone to access the QR code on the menu. I told him I did not have my phone with me, so he suggested I walk over to the bar and see what was posted on the sign. Uhhh...no. I just ordered an Ultra and my wife had a glass of wine. For dinner, I had the fish & chips and my wife had cajun chicken & sausage pasta. Both left a lot to be desired, and portions were very small. My wife and I went to Aubrey's for the very first time tonight. Frankly, we went there in spite of what were what I considered lowish Yelp ratings. Well, I feel after the meal we had tonight that I don't understand why the Yelp ratings are as low as they are. The server came promptly to our table and took our order. My wife had the fried catfish dinner, and I had the fish and chips. Our drinks were brought out within a couple of minutes, and the server brought us a delicious roll and a large scoop of butter. I might also add that our server (I believe her name was Sloane) was friendly, efficient, and helpful with a couple of food recommendations,, and overall a lovely young lady. After what seemed like 5 minutes, our entrees arrived. Both of the different fish entrees were perfectly cooked, moist, and a very large portion. Their crispy chips were crispy, well seasoned, and delicious. I also had a side of cinnamon baked apple slices, and they were also very good. I couldn't be happier with my first trip to Aubrey's, and plan to return soon. I also say to anyone deciding whether to eat at Aubrey's or not, to ignore the relatively low ratings, and give Aubrey's a try. I don't think you will be disappointed. read more

The service is good. The food is good. Great place to eat. The way the managers treat the employees is not fantastic. I've heard stories of employees being mistreated, yelled at, etc. It's proven they don't prioritize employee growth in the company. But as a customer, long waits and inefficient service but generally a good place to eat. read more

I've been here twice now. It's in the perfect location for me, just a few miles from my church, so a great option for an after-church meal. Our service was better than great. We arrived before the doors opened at 11:AM to a line already gathering at the front do. It's rare that I eat anything before noon, but Aubrey's sounded good and it was so tasty the last time we were there, I decided to go ahead and eat early. I was craving an Espresso Martini and asked our server if that was something they could make, even though their aren't any cocktails listed on their drink menu. She was enthusiastically optimistic that their bartender could grant my desire. When it was delivered to our table, the drink glass was half-full. I jokingly said, "Did you have a taste of my drink?" I asked why it was half full and she acknowledged that it looked odd and when she asked the bartender about it, she was told that she followed a specific recipe that had preset pours. It sounded like bs but I had just decided to let it go and not order a cocktail from the bar again. I ordered the Rattlesnake Pasta. My mom ordered the Old Fashioned Patty Melt. My pasta was delicious! The burger on the patty melt was underdone, so we sent it back to get it more done. Every time I've had a patty melt at other res taurants, the burger was always well done, so we didn't think to order it that way. When she got her re-fired burger, it was more raw than the first one. Our server and the manager apologized profusely and promised to make it right. It was cooked to perfection on the 3rd try and when the manager served it, she apologized again and said that our meal would be comped. I thought she meant just the Patty Melt, but they actually comped our entire meal! I've never had a restaurant do this, even when they screwed up much worse than this. It's obvious that Aubrey's is working hard to keep their customers coming back. I really appreciated the gesture and made sure our server (who was excellent throughout our dining experience) was well compensated with a good tip. I feel like the staff of Aubrey's went above and beyond to make sure our experience was a positive one, and their kind gesture will ensure that I return sooner, rather than later. read more

They're currently my favorite place to eat. They have a garlic ranch dressing that is really great and their filet bites are even better.
