the service was good. the waiter was nice and married. but the food. first off let's state the fact that there is a night menu. just say you are lazy and don't feel like cooking. might as well close if you don't feel like cooking. i got bbq boneless wings, french fries, fried pickles, and meat pizza. first off the fried pickles look like fries and they came with mysterious sauce. they were good though. next the pizza. i liked it. it was very good, but it wasn't my pizza. so it wasn't my order. now let's go to my order. i got the wings and fries. it tasted bad. the inside of the wings were empty and the skin tasted like rubber. then the fries. walmart fries taste better but they were better than the wings. then i tried shrimp flat bread and that was pretty good. overall i'd rather be at taco bell. the people were really nice. and the environment was lovely. if you come here, come during day. good night! read more

This place is hopping even on a Sunday night. Sat in the bar area, slammed. Went with teriyaki salmon with white rice and a side of fresh fruit. Nicely Fire grilled salmon bathed in teriyaki sauce but not swimming in it. Nice texture with white rice, done really well. The flavor of my salmon tonight was great, flaky and soft on the inside and nice grill marks on the outside. Fresh fruit was nicely cut up pieces of strawberries, pineapple, green apple and red apple Along with some grapes. Service by Haley was quick and very responsive. I met a buddy here for a beer and a bite for some just needed "out of the house time" man time. Jonathan's always has a great happy hour deal for a cold refreshing beverage and here's how our time went; Ambiance: Typically set up for finding and a nice large bar in the back with food service and lots of screens to watch what's going on. Service: The bar staff was prompt, professional and friendly taking my drink order and asking if I'd like food as well. They poured my beverage of choice and didn't bring g my second heading schedule but patiently awaited me to be finished with the initial one. Food: We orders the wings (dry rub parmesan garlic) and they were excellent - hadn't tried them before and really enjoyed them overall. They were hot, not overly spiced but had good flavor and were a good portion. Value: The 2 for 1 is hard to beat and they always have at least 1 IPA i like so it's easy to make this a choice for a regular spot for a meet-up. We absolutely love this place and continue to come back because of the consistently great experience. Joseph is our favorite bartender! He's always friendly, attentive and excellent at what he does. The food is consistently high quality, everything tastes great and the service is always outstanding. Our only concern during our most recent visit was the temperature inside the restaurant. The windows were open and it was around 80 degrees indoors, which made it very uncomfortable and almost caused us to leave. Normally the atmosphere is cool and comfortable, so we're hoping this was just a one time issue... Aside from that experience, we still can't give this place anything less than 5 stars because we genuinely love coming here and have consistently had great experiences with both the food and service! I got a Togo side salad for $8 and it was maybe 4 bites at best. However, got a side salad at the restaurant 3 days ago, and didn't even eat my entree, it was so big. Loved the food here , went on weekday as I was staying in hotel next to it. I had hummus and Brussels sprouts as appetizer . Brussel sprouts were amazing and we ordered it twice. Served was nice and she helped to order and menu is too big. We've been going to Jonathan's Restaurant in Spring Hill, TN for quite some time. Usually, the food is good and service is ok. In checking my bill on a recent visit, I noticed a line item for "Convenience Fee". It appears that the chain is charging a fee for the use of credit cards for payment. That should be an operating expense of the establishment and not my expense. That 3% fee is what the credit cards routinely charge a business for processing a card charge. Considering that most restaurants don't pass that charge along by line item, I have a choice of paying cash or changing my selection of restaurants. Carrying around cash is not convenient, so I'll opt to change my selection of restaurants. Too bad. read more

Had lunch here the other day with a buddy. The food was very good except for those nasty lettuce wraps which were garbage. We've been to Jonathan's in Spring Hill several times, and while the food is absolutely amazing--truly one of the best in town--it's hard to ignore the consistently frustrating service. Every visit, we're greeted slowly at the bar, and even when the place is half empty, it takes forever for anyone to take our order. It's disappointing because the food and their happy hour food specials are what always bring us back. The happy hour food deals are some of the best in town, offering great value for delicious options. On a positive note, their happy hour is fantastic--hands down the best in town, with great drink specials that make it worth the stop. But it's hard to enjoy the experience when the staff seems so slow and inattentive. We really hope they improve the service because the food and happy hour definitely have us wanting to return.the ambiance is great too. You can also mix the toppings on each pizza. The place is loud, but it's to be expected being a Sports Bar. Pizzas can be made with traditional crust or thin. It was really good and crispy, the way we like it. Don't let a full parking lot scare you. We were a party of 8 and were seated right away. This was a pretty decent spot for a quick bite with family. In a strip of many chain restaurants, this was a pleasant surprise. Pizza was actually pretty good - the pepperoni one at least. The BBQ one we got was alright - needed more sauce. The portion sizes seemed huge which is a plus for the other orders at the table. Decent local beer selection. Stopped in on a Friday evening at 5:30 and was immediately seated. When we left after 6:15 there was a line of people waiting. There are lots of options to choose from. Several tvs inside to look at, and they also have outside seating. Taylor waited on us and did an outstanding job. I tried the blackened fish and chips. Fries and coleslaw were very good. The fish wasn't truly blackened but had a good amount of blackened seasonings on it. Everyone at the table enjoyed the meal. I will be back to try other items on the menu read more

Decent sports bar. Large space, good sized parking lot, the place clearly gets busy. Lots of TVs. Good variety of seating, including a few tables outside. Front desk service was meh. Three staff kept talking to each other while we stood at the desk. Finally one got two menus and said "this way". No hello or friendly acknowledgement. Wait staff service was fine though. Prompt and friendly taking orders, regularly checked on. Nice selection of draft, including a few locals like Gerst. Like the 2 for 1 happy hour - one to slam down, one to sip. Bam bam shrimp were large and pretty tasty. Enjoyed the french dip. Not too big, and not overflowing with beef, but still a decent dinner, with good au jus for dipping. Particularly liked the house made chips. A few for the wife, who enjoyed with her bbq chicken flat bread, and I happily downed the rest. It's not in the running for a Michelin star, but I expect it'll be in our regular rotation when we're looking for a casual local dinner. read more

Food is still pretty good but our last 2 visits have had horrible service. Today I took my son there for his birthday. They brought our appetizer, but no plates. The waitress never did bring the salad that came with my mom's meal. Only one of us got a drink refill. They didn't even ask if we wanted dessert, just slapped the check down. We were there before the dinner rush, so there were only about 5 tables with people in the entire place. We will probably give this place a break for a long time, if we ever go back it will be to a different location. read more

I went here with some relatives recently and we really enjoyed it. The food is pretty good. The appetizers i tried were bam bam shrimp and pizza rolls. The shrimp was pretty tasty and the pizza rolls were pretty good. I got the chicken tenders and fries. The fries were ok, they weren't bad. The chicken tenders were good. Our waiter was really nice and did a good job. One weird thing is that someone forgot to put silverware on our table, we asked our waiter and they got us some. The inside was nice and had some dim lighting, but it was loud in there and there were a few moments where it was hard to hear people talk. Overall this place was pretty good and I do recommend checking this place out. read more

The hours are also nice, where many restaurants are closed on Sunday/Monday (never understood this), Jonathan's has late hours. Went for lunch today! Beat sirloin I've had in the 7 years I've lived in TN!! That's saying a lot because I get steak every time we eat out. Brussels were cooked perfectly.
