We then had the muffuletta and tuna salad sandwiches as our entrees. We've both ordered these in the past and loved them so much we have not strayed to try other items yet. We finished the meal with their cherry cobbler crumble which was wonderfully complex in flavor - delicious! The atmosphere is always great and the service top notch. We look forward to going again soon.

My friend had a cinnamon crunch bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese, and said it was delicious! We ate every bite! It was also fast service! Four of us were able to place orders, eat, socialize, and get out in less than an hour. Super speedy! Minus one star because it is so smoky inside. They have a grill area where they cook, which is fine, but there is no hood/ventilation and so when they grill anything, the smoke just goes out into the restaurant. The four of us who ate there smelled like bacon smoke the entire afternoon. Will continue to eat from here, just maybe not inside until the ventilation sees an improvement.

My husband and I first visited Easy Like Sunday about two years ago and immediately fell in love…read morewith this little restaurant. It's small, intimate, stylish and inviting. It's the kind of place that feels notably special, distinguished and high end without ever feeling stuffy. Everyone is warm and professional, and the food is absolutely worth every penny. During our first visit, I took a chance and ordered the grits. I normally avoid restaurant grits because they're almost always bland, flavorless and gelatinous. But the grits at Easy Like Sunday were completely different in the best way. Creamy with the slightest grainy texture and so perfectly seasoned that you don't need to add butter, salt, pepper or anything else. I had been daydreaming about those grits for two years. We finally made it back this past Friday and arrived when the doors opened at 9:00am. We were seated immediately. I ordered the Little Bit of Everything with eggs, bacon, those unforgettable grits and a thick, fluffy, delicious buttermilk pancake. That first spoonful of grits tasted exactly the way I remembered, maybe even better. My eyes actually welled up with tears. I know that sounds extreme but I'm not exaggerating. After waiting two years to taste them again, they felt familiar and comforting, like coming home. Our waitress, Diana, made the morning even more special. She was warm, welcoming and accommodating. When I told her I could nearly cry over those grits, she didn't make me feel silly or dramatic. She agreed saying,"Oh, I know! We have the best grits!" She said she completely understood why that first bite made me feel emotional. Being served by Diana felt like being taken care of by an old friend. We had never met her before, yet she treated us as though she had known us for years. Easy Like Sunday is a hidden little treasure tucked away across the street from Park Road Shopping Center. It's the kind of place you take someone special for a first date, an anniversary, a milestone, a birthday or simply a morning you want to remember. The atmosphere is cozy and polished, the food is wonderful, and Diana is an absolute gem. We cannot wait to return!
