Cuban with potato salad
Anita W.

The variety of bagels in this shop are unreal! Will soon take a picture of all the bagels! I've stopped in twice, once for lunch and once for breakfast. The Cuban - was so flavorful! Sweet and savory all in one. breakfast bagel with sausage egg and cheese. Perfect crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Service seems a little impatient if you ask for suggestions or if you don't "know what you want" right off hand. But she can make a good sandwich!

I just moved to Lexington from Raleigh and NYC before that. The bagels here are amazing staff is super personable. The bacon scallion cream cheese is amazing the asiago cheese bagel is so good. Also had breakfast there and it was like a nice homemade meal.

Cute little place in Lexington. They have several bagel options and are pretty quick if you are in a rush. If you like your bagels a little more toasted you might want to tell them that because I felt like mine wasn't toasted enough.

Nice local business with delicious food. There's a large variety of drinks and the assortment of bagels is nice. Hard to find a REAL New York bagel - but it's pretty darn good.

The selections were quite limited, even at 9:30 on a Monday; they had 4 kinds left, 3 of which were salt or garlic or cinnamon. This left a pumpernickel which I like just fine, when it's done well. This one was done just "ok" and slightly undercooked. The cream cheese was a bit "buttery" which I always find off-putting. Ah well. She Said: As noted above, the pickings were slim for us when we arrived. I love a pumpernickel and/or rye bagel and the combo version suited me fine. There was good rye flavor to the bagel, but the texture was a little off--a bit too much crunch on the outside and not enough chew on the inside. Did I finish the bagel? Yes! Will I be back the next time we're in Greensboro? Probably not. But I will say that this place is good enough that you should judge for yourself. We're particular about of bagel experience and there are plenty of people who disagree with our bagel expectations. Potty Points: No trip to the potty for me!

I'm happy to say that after my first time trying it last year that I continue to go and support it. The service is always great and my food comes out spectacular. I have zero complaints. Just with any place, depending on when you go, it can easily be a little wait. I came in this morning on my day off and ordered the cruel summer on everything sourdough. It has scallion cream cheese, egg, bacon, and hot honey. I also tried the hash brown. I was pleasantly surprised because it was seasoned. Most times hash browns are very plain but this one was not. I opted to sit in and enjoy my breakfast. They had seating with standard tables and chairs. Anytime I've come in, it's always nice and clean. Needless to say, check it out. There are so many varieties of not only bagels but they also have wraps and croissants. So you can customize to your liking. Although, I'm a southern Belle, the New Yorkers have stamped this as a supreme bagel spot. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I have.

The sandwiches were so fresh. The standout bagel flavor was sundried tomato. My only wish is that they were also open Sunday!

The line was steady, the staff was hustling, and the smell of fresh bagels made the wait totally worth it. There had to be 15+ people hustling behind the counter (probably even more in the back), and despite constant flow of people coming in and what looked like nonstop online/call in orders, they had the operation running like a well-oiled machine. I ordered almost immediately, it just took a little while for the food to come out, which honestly was understandable considering how busy they were. The menu is huge with tons of bagel and cream cheese options, plus plenty of specialty sandwiches if you don't feel like building your own. I grabbed the Italiano special, a cheesesteak with the works, and two Asiago bagels for the next day (they're closed Sundays, so plan ahead!). The Asiago bagels were excellent, even the next morning they held up to perfection. The cheesesteak had great flavor with peppers and onions, though I would've loved a little more meat and a little less bread. The Italiano was also really tasty, but my order wasn't quite right. I asked for no roasted tomatoes or olives and to add onions, but it came with the tomatoes and no onions. Honestly the no olives was the most important part so not the end of the world. I fixed it at home with some onions and fresh banana peppers from the garden... again not a big deal, but worth mentioning. I'm sure if I was eating at the location they would've fixed it immediately. For around $30, I got two sandwiches, two bagels, and the sandwiches even came with chips, which was a nice surprise. Easy parking, easy to find, lots of seating (but inside and out -- a few picnic tables on the patio) and while the inside isn't anything fancy, that's not why you're here. You're here for solid bagels, great sandwiches, and a local spot that's clearly doing something right. I'd definitely come back, especially to try one of their breakfast sandwiches next time.
