Always Great breakfast & Great Service highly recommend the Eggs Benedict and probably the Best Coffee that I've had in any breakfast place

We had breakfast here recently. This place is busy most of the time, as it was the morning of our visit. A wooden interior with a farm theme. We were greeted walking in and our server sat us with menus and asked for our beverage choices. Returning a couple minutes later with hot coffee and our juices. After giving the menu a good look over we ordered breakfast. I went for the Breakfast Special #2, eggs over medium with bacon, a biscuit and gravy, add an extra egg (no charge for that either). Simple, basic and good. The biscuits and gravy are very good, and its hard to mess up eggs. This was my first time to this location, it was pretty good, but not really the best overall. The staff was friendly and attentive and I ordered the pecan pancakes that were pretty good as well. There was a ton of noise in the restaurant and they use there loud speaker to call out names every other minute. In my opinion it was a smidge above just okay, but not great. read more

Breakfast Time is a solid breakfast place, it always seems busy no matter what location you go to. They seem to carry a theme which consider of older farmhouse decorations which's adds a certain feel/look to their places, it's pretty cool. The staff always seem friendly as well whichever location you go to. The food is decent, it's typical American diner food. Prices are reasonable too so you should break the bank to eat here. This place stays busy, though not quite as much as the one on Hanes Mall Blvd at Jonestown, and the parking situation is not completely bonkers, unless you are trying to come out turning against traffic. I've tried this place and also the location on Old Salisbury Road. The breakfast menu is very broad and includes some decent brunch type items, and from 10:30 AM till their closing at 3:00 PM they also offer sandwiches, burgers, salads and lunch plates. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are nice. While there is much to like here for many folks, I'll not be a regular. The place is often crowded and noisy, and there are a number of other similar places that provide a more relaxed dining experience with prices at least as reasonable - Clemmons Kitchen, Southern Spice, and Liberty Family come to mind and there are others. On this visit I chose The Works Omelet with Home Fries and white toast. At $12.99 this is one of their higher priced omelets, but it is well filled. Easter morning breakfast on their front porch protected from a morning rain shower. They allowed our dog to join us and sit under our table and this was very helpful. When the time is 1 PM and you have a serious craving for eggs and sausage, you quickly realize how difficult it is to find an establishment serving that food at that time of day. (And yes, I'm intentionally leaving the awful Waffle out of this because we all know that's in its own tier.) Open from 6 AM to 3 PM daily, they have a fantastic breakfast menu as the name would suggest, but they also have an attractive grill selection for lunch. Myself and the kids all ordered breakfast fare, my wife ordered a very nice grilled chicken salad. All of the food came fast, fresh, with very generous serving sizes. The food was high-quality and delicious. There is ample seating inside, attractive decor, and it is nicely lit without being too bright. The staff members we interacted with were fantastic. If what you're craving is breakfast, you of course cannot go wrong here. But I encourage you to come here and try lunch sometime also, even though they are a "breakfast" establishment , the lunch offerings are solid. read more

UPDATE: 02/18/24 Took my wife to show this place off. It was a crowded breakfast gathering. We had about a 10 minute wait. We both ordered the Southern Eggs Benedict. Mine with sausage patties and hers with liver mush. We both got hash browns. We both enjoyed our meals. Service was superb. Food was fantastic. It was a great meal experience. One thing of Note: my wife said the coffee was really good. That is for all you psychopathic coffee mongers out there . Once my girls come home from college for spring break, I want them to experience this place. It is one of the best breakfast businesses around. read more

Went to brunch this morning while out in Clemmons and stopped in to this packed spot. I am definitely a sucker for an eggs Benedict and I LOVE avocados, so I had to give it a try. This was DELICIOUS. Great portion side, very filling. Each Benedict had half of an avocado! We had great service from our server and the wait wasn't bad at all. I think we might have only waited 20 minutes. Worth every minute. Gotta love a restaurant that you can get a good meal and then go for a good rock on the covered front porch. It's a good place for I would say up to a party of 6. If we had not been to the Breakfastime on Hanes Mall Boulevard this experience would have felt a-okay. BUT, compared with our normal experience at the Hanes Mall Boulevard it just doesn't compare. First of all, this location is much smaller and appears not to run as efficiently. It was slight busy when we came in and there were a few empty tables so we assume it was due to a lack of staff. We had a seat and waited for our names to be called. We were seated but noticed one of the chairs had ketchup all over it and we had to track down someone to clean it off. Our orders were taken in a timely manner and did arrive fairly quickly but no one came to check in on us and we had to hunt someone down to get a to-go box. Breakfastime is located next to the Napa Auto & Truck Parts and across from the Truist. This restaurant is definitely trying to capture a country feel to it. This is the case both from the exterior and inside. Honestly, they do pretty much capture a country feel. The food is good and the prices are competitive. You can't go wrong with an omelet from here. However, everyone looks pretty happy with what they were eating in the dining room. I would definitely recommend this establishment. read more

Breakfastime in Clemmons, off Lewisville-Clemmons Rd, is one of the best breakfast spots I've been to in NC so far. The amount of food, quality, and price you pay are something you can't beat. Chicken Fried Steak, gravy, and biscuit were delicious. Eggs and hash browns were great as well. I also ordered a side of their Liver Mush (not pictured) and wasn't a fan. I took the hubs to Breakfastime for the first time and introduced him to the awesomeness that is their French toast. lol My go to is the breakfast special #4 which is your choice of eggs any style, choice of meat and choice of a half stack or pancakes or French toast or a waffle. My husband had the country fried steak with white gravy, eggs any style, fried potatoes and toast. He opted to have his potatoes deep fried for extra crispness and said it was a game changer. Service was wonderful as always and was a reminder as to why we come to this location as opposed to the one less than 3 miles from our house. Masks are required to be worn by customers at all times (unless eating or drinking) and everyone was very good at following this. Tables are marked off to slow for safe distancing and are thoroughly sanitized once a customer leaves. Menus are also sanitized after each use. The steps that the staff take to ensure the safety of the customers and their selves is greatly appreciated and gives me the confidence to continue visiting this location. read more

This was our first time at this location. We've dined at the old Salisbury Road location, many times, but found ourselves in Clemens on a Saturday at noon. This location looks like a 1970s Cracker Barrel, and it's the smallest Breakfastime we've visited. We sat and waited for about 20 minutes for a table, and everyone we interacted with was pleasant and friendly. In an almost unprecedented occurrence, my bride wanted breakfast while I was interested in lunch. I ordered the guacamole burger, not realizing that it was about a half pound of beef. Thankfully, they were able to cook it to medium rare, and whoever did the cooking did an excellent job. I've always felt that their buns seemed almost slightly stale,. Not because of taste, but because of their density. This burger actually benefited from that additional fortification. When I saw that it had tomato on it, I assumed I would be throwing it aside, considering it is December, but it was very good! My bride had a waffle, well done bacon, and a scrambled egg. I snuck a bite of her waffle and thought it was great. I highly recommend these choices in this location. read more

Are those eggs real? Everything about this place feels down home comforting with it's barn-yard decor and delicious traditional recipes. Curiosities abound from the selfie-worthy 8-foot tall metal roosters out front to the chicken-wire chicken-coup shelf that runs along the upper third of the wall. Atop the shelf are nests and chicken eggs just within reach of curious customers wondering whether those eggs in the nests are made of real egg shell. Find out for yourself. There are two locations. Once again I've found that the Clemmons post of the Breakfastime franchise is better than the others. I ordered almost exactly the same thing I tried to get at the Hanes Mall location a few days before -- but here it comes out quickly, correctly, completely, and well-plated. The kitchen has the game in hand here, which matches the quality of the service staff as well. I didn't have to ask for items, nor did I have to settle for substitute items. My family of 4 was willing to wait to be seated at a table as the restaurant was busy as expected on the weekends. I put my name on the waitlist and the hostess didn't ask me if I was willing to be seated on the patio if a table became available. My family sat in the hot sun as we waited like all the people who were on the waitlist sitting patiently when two customers who we observed parking their cars went in the restaurant and came immediately out and sat down at a patio table that became available moments before. My family and I looked at each other wondering how they got ahead of all of the people on the waitlist when they just got there. I went in and asked why they were seated before the people on the waitlist and I was told that they requested to be seated on the patio. I'm sure they saw the empty table as they walked past it. I went in to let the staff know we were here before them and that we were sitting in the hot sun and would be willing to sit wherever there was an open table. The lead hostess responded did we ask to sit at a patio table and I responded that I wasn't aware that we had to do that when we put our name on the waitlist. The hostess kept trying to tell me that I didn't follow the protocol to be seated on the patio. As a customer how would I know what their protocols were if not told to me when I put my name on the long waitlist. Our reason for visiting the restaurant was one we like the food and the other was we knew it would be a wait on the weekend. I recommend for future purposes that the restaurant inform the customers what the options are before making a decision to which seating they would prefer. We stayed to eat our breakfast but I'm not happy with our experience with the lead hostess. read more

Breakfasttime is IT! I've never not had a great meal at Breakfasttime. The Clemmons and Old Salisbury Road locations are our go-to spots for a solid southern style breakfast. Inside, you'll find the most interesting old timey decorations and punny phrases on the wall to keep your interest while you wait on a table. Their omelets are thick and fluffy with tons of toppings on the inside. I had a salad one time and I remember the salad being huge and really good. We go here for breakfast most often which is what I recommend. They have a huge menu with everything from cheesy grits to livermush (YUCK) and avocado toast. That's an odd combination, I know but my fiancé swears by the livermush. Get there early or expect a wait on the weekends. This place is GOOD. read more

Nope, nope, nope, nope. Open from 7 to 3 and with that name I was expecting breakfast heaven. Frankly, the Waffle House is better. The outside is rustic ranch, inside is cheerfully decorated and everyone is very nice-southern hospitality-no doubt. The breakfast combos were, I thought a little odd so I ordered two eggs sunny side up, hash browns, sausage and a side of sausage gravy. The Pattie's, while large, were dry to the point of hockey puck. The TWO eggs I ordered sunny side up came out as three eggs maybe over easy but maybe over hard. The hash browns, while tasty, looked like they came out of a toaster. Oh, the very small serving of gravy was very thin. read more

Great good. Huge portions and amazing prices. Wish there was a Breakfasttime in Houston TX. A huge menu and pretty much any kind of breakfast option you can think about is available. Only bad thing I would say is that it was almost subarctic in the restaurant. I never complain about being cold, but it was freezing. As a result, caused the food and coffee to become cold and fast. They may do this on weekends so that people don't overstay their welcome bc I'm sure it is busy. All in all, and despite the temperature inside, I'd eat here every chance I could get. I decided to try the Clemmons NC location this morning. Unfortunately I have the knowledge of what the Breakfasttime in Jonesville is like. There is a marked difference in what's available. When I asked about the items available in Jonesville versus This store in Clemmons, I was told they are not affiliated. They use the same menus, same logos and same styling so it can be confusing. The lobby area was clean and well styled. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. I am not going to include anything on the server. Perhaps it has been a bad day for our server. The food was good and comparable to the Jonesville NC location. I cannot recommend this location. You will have to use your own judgment on his one. But the service personnel just were not very happy today. It is unlikely I will try this location again. read more
