This place is always packed and for good reason - when it's breakfast time you want to come here. The only thing that needs an upgrade is the coffee - little weak. The food more than makes up for this with amazing eggs Benedict and crispy potatoes. Pancakes galore - waffles - French toast - all done right. Always have to wait about 30 minutes but it's worth it. Don't be grumpy that you have to wait - that means it's good. People don't wait for 30 minutes because it's mediocre. I come here because it's made to order - they take there time. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is quaint and family friendly. Take a seat on a rocking chair outside and wait your turn for a breakfast out of this world. Great unexpected find in Clemmons! Terrific service, tasty food, and no waiting! I'll be back!

Amazing experience. They were busy so we took a seat at the bar. They have an extensive menu including your normal breakfast of bacon and eggs, but they have hash browns, gravy, sausage, pancakes, waffles and then diner specials. I got the eggs over medium, a biscuit, country fried steak with white gravy and the cheddar onion hashbrowns. I didn't enjoy the hashbrowns but the rest I could have licked the plate. My husband had the same. The restroom was clean and well stocked. There was a line out the door when we left. They do not serve alcohol. They have a dessert case and the dessert cakes looked scrumptious. read more

The place is cozier than one near Friedburg Church, but the staff is really nice. I found the waitress we had to be really perky and checked on us often. You can tell it was a different shop converted into a Breakfastime rather than being a new build and when it is busy, the front entrance is REALLY cramped. They need a better spot for the waiting area, perhaps even adding an addition to the outside somewhere as it does not seem to be fire safety aware. The wife and I tried the "usual" breakfast we get at another location and were even more satisfied with the results. This was surprising, but we will go back a few more times just to make sure it was not a fluke, even though the other location we are closer to. I recommend the place, I love their waffles, and it felt like a smaller version of a cracker barrel. read more

We ate here on our way to the mountains. It was delicious. It was a beautiful day so we did not have to wait long on a Sunday at 12 o'clock because we chose to eat outside. After my 2nd visit, my review has changed! I don't know what was happening on my first visit, but the food is now superior for a lovely little breakfast place in Clemmons, NC. The lemon, orzo chicken soup was really special. It is homemade, lovely, light and refreshing. The mashed potatoes are homemade and delicious! It looks like a Cracker Barrel minus the store - complete with rocking chair and saloon motif. Hard to miss on the busy stretch of L-C Road near all the chains and grocery stores. They serve breakfast, yes indeed. But other stuff as well - like burgers and sandwiches and salads. But you come here for breakfast. Since it's new, all the Clemmons-ites want to eat here and it's crowded. On a dead Thursday morning at 9am, there was a "15 minute wait for a table". Be warned. Food arrived and it was better than expected. Of note, the classic old school hash browns and biscuits were the star here. Bacon, sausage, etc was as expected. I mean, hard to screw that stuff up, right? Oh and don't forget the third egg! On most of the breakfast options, they offer a "third egg" for free. Take it! I ordered poached eggs, hash browns and bacon to go. I was specific the eggs be cooked where the white was cooked but the yolk runny. There was only one table with customers, a very slow time. After 20 minutes, I received the eggs, which were hard cooked, not the way they were ordered. The hash browns were still not cooked. Service is terrible in this location. The employee at the to-go counter was dealing with an irate customer on the phone due to an incorrect order, so it took forever to pay. The server who gave my order to the kitchen apparently was not understood about the eggs, as the guys in the kitchen were too busy horse- playing around and also did not understand English. I finally requested my money returned and left. I do not recommend eating here, your order will not be correct and will take forever. The location on Hanes mall Blvd is amazing, they get the order correct every time, and understand the language. read more

Breakfastime is nearly always crowded, so it's obviously a pretty good place. My problem is, I don't particularly care for breakfast and their lunch items are unremarkable. The burgers are often tough and rubbery. The cheesesteak is pretty bland. I've tried the croissant (sausage, egg, and cheese) and found it too greasy. I do like the home fries and you can't go wrong with a bacon sandwich. The service is usually good as well. Overall, as much as I normally love breakfast places that will let me order non-breakfast foods, I just don't think this is a place where the quality of no breakfast offerings are up to par. read more

The spot to go to for breakfast not only on the weekends but anytime! Just a warning though, everyone in town knows this place is good so expect a wait! Im not saying there is always a wait but the better surprise would be to show up and not have it! Could not finish the short stack of two generously filled with fresh blueberries and strawberries, and topped with fresh blueberries, strawberries, and pecans mixed with syrup. Fresh, hot, and delicious. I didn't need the extra syrup the waitress provided. Two dining companions got platters with over medium eggs and one with country fried steak and the other a hamburger steak, both with gravy. They both enjoyed their big breakfasts. I'm waiting to be seated and I assumed that must have not been their responsibility I guess. Keep in mind, nobody is in front of me and it's not particularly busy at the time. In the next 10 minutes, two more employees look at me and don't even acknowledge I'm there. Then at the very end the guy at the register barely looks at me and says "one moment..." Apparently she couldn't even get that right and wasn't even close when she wrote it down. We waited for 30 min and every single name they called didn't even sound like ours. I had never been to this place, my daughter invited me. I love the food it's always Hot. It does take a little longer to make since it's fresh and they are usually full. Been there 3 times. I love this place. I read the previous reviews about slow service, and as a long time bartender, I found them unfair. Wait times are very reasonable and service is quick. Yes, sometimes they sit two people at a table that could hold six... but most of the tables in the building can hold six people, and those two people arrived before you. Get over it. Read reviews of this place having slow service and visited anticipating waiting; not too let down by the wait to get a table. Service was also slow though; we waited for about 3-5 minutes just for our server to get our drink order. Menu-wise, this place is similar to any other breakfast place and you can't really go wrong with breakfast. The only downside would be that the food did lack flavor; pork chop did not have much seasoning on it. Eggs didn't have any thing on it either for taste, they were "clean", if that's what you like then go for it. The only thing I got that had any flavor to it was the cheese grits and that only had flavor because of the cheese. Fries weren't seasoned either. Everything was just very plain. Prices are very reasonable though, for 4 adults and a child, it was only about $7 a head to feed so if you're a bit tight on money, this would be the place to get full for cheap. read more
