I met my friend at Breakfasttime Anytime on Hanes Mall Blvd. I couldn't believe my luck when I arrived at 11:25 and was immediately seated, because this place jams! Barb got the pecan pancakes and sides of 2 eggs, grits and bacon. I did the fried pork tenderloin lunch platter. For only $11.99 you get 2 pieces of fork tender, pork topped with sausage gravy, a cup of soup, I chose the orzo, tomato, spinach, feta but asked for it to go. You also get 2 sides, sadly they don't have mashed potatoes so I got crinkle fries and fried squash. You also get a choice of bread and I chose a biscuit. The biscuit was large and light. Everything was delicious and I will get two meals out it. I came home with a piece of tenderloin, the biscuit and the soup. This is a phenomenal value! They also have a lunch menu that you can order from at lunch time. They are breakfast and lunch only, though so make sure you get there in time. The food is always consistent and good. Nothing has ever been above and beyond, but for a yummy breakfast you don't have to cook yourself, it's perfect. The service is always great. They consistently have a full staff (at least it seems) and their workers are always buzzing around busy as bees. These restaurants are always so cute, too. Went here with my parents when they were visiting, had never visited before and figured it was an agreeable standard breakfast place that would work for just about anyone. It more or less fit the bill. We went on a Sunday morning around 10 am and like I expected it was packed, I was kind of worried that we would have a seriously long wait for a table but it actually worked out ok. Even though the restaurant was packed we were still seated quickly. For ambience the place was pretty busy, and conversations can be heard throughout the restaurant as tables are placed pretty close to each other, some booths but not a ton available. Basically that classic no-nonsense diner feel. Food is similar, nothing that will particularly wow you or bowl you over. It's not the best I've had or the worst. However the prices are pretty reasonable for what is served. Overall if you want a simple classic Americana no-nonsense breakfast diner this place should fit the bill. read more

This is my first time visiting this latest Breakfast Time restaurant, I usually go to the one in Clemmons. Since its more convenient I selected this one. Actually I'm glad I did, the service is quick, I got a table right away even though the place was pretty busy on a Saturday and food was good. I wasn't very hungry so I ordered grits with cheese and hashbrowns. They were good made just right. My friends food was an eye popper. She ordered the philly steak sub it was huge! She's a bit particular about how her food comes out so I was glad that they allowed substitutions for her. We had a very hospitable servicer who was very friendly and made sure everything we asked for was to our liking. The only problem was she was so busy she forgot to bring out extra condiments we asked for several times. She did well to check on us though and to make sure my coffee cup was never empty for this coffee hound, that was worth 5 stars right there.... I noticed that the egg shortage our country is experiencing now hit this breakfast place too as there was a big sign on the door saying that eggs are 50 cents more than usual. There is a nice stone outdoor patio that you can go to if you want your food and fresh air to experience the nice weather. The restaurant is open till 3pm each day so drop in anytime before then for breakfast or lunch, there's plenty of parking. I know I will be visiting again soon. read more

My wife and I Visited this location for a few years. We started to notice changes with the staff and the Food preparation. However today was the tipping point. We again came in to this establishment to enjoy the food and the friendly staff that we had grown accustomed to. Today it was not the case. We had stood and waited for 20 minutes when we were told it would be 5. We as normal gave our names then waited. Time progressed. Then someone walked in looked at the counter the he looked at the hostess whispered to her then he was immediately seated where we had been waiting on the very seats that were available and cleaned for 15 of the twenty minutes. My wife asked why was he seated prior to us ?! The Hostess was very rude and condescending with her remarks as if we are beneath her and her decision should not have been questioned by US. I interjected and advised the hostess she is missing the point . She in return became even more condescending. I looked her and the others in their face and said now you have more space. The amount of disrespect my wife and I received at this location was not warranted on any level. Yet they say all are welcome but are we truly? I pray that this will be addressed. read more

My family and I have been coming here for quite a while now. We enjoy the atmosphere and the nice staff here. The food is always good and comes out fairly quickly. They're almost always busy, so we try to get there before the crowd rolls in. They've got really good chicken and waffles as well, which is what I usually get. My husband almost always gets the Big K Combo, which is pictured here. They've got an extensive menu as well. They also serve lunch as well, I've not tried it, but see it when others order and it looks and smells amazing! Definitely going to try their lunch one of these days. On the morning of February 26 between 0600 and 0630, I stopped at the Hanes Mall blvd location of Breakfastyme. I ordered an omelette with nothing but salsa, bacon, toast and coffee. The food came and there was no slasa in the the omelette-nothing but egg. When I asked about this I was told we don't do that. {put the salsa in the omelette} I became quite distressed and was talking to the wait person about it when the manager on duty came over, got involved, and proceded to ask me why I was being an ASSHOLE to her staff. That is a exact quote of the term she used! It doesn't matter what went on that was INEXSCUSABLE!! I did not ralise my voice, use bad language, but I was emphatic. First off I usually have a good experience at Breakfastime. The one in Clemmons is always spot on and have had good experiences at this Hanes Mall Blvd location as well until Today. Upon arrival we requested a warm booth, the hostess proceeded to seat us at a table with chairs in a cooler part of the restaurant. We asked her to reseat us to a booth near the bar area where it was warmer. She did, but wasn't happy about it. The table still had dishes from the previous patrons and we had to ask twice to have it cleared and cleaned. Once seated with menus NO server ever came to take our order. I again spoke to the hostess who said she would have the server come over. 5-minutes later...still no server. I then got up and walked to the cashier to ask if he could get someone to take our order. Five more minutes later still no server. Time to walk out, but before I did I did talk with the manager on duty. She confronted the Hostess and Server involved but no apology. Yes anyone can have a bad day, but the restaurant was not busy and for three people to drop the ball makes me wonder if something else is going wrong at this Breakfastime location. read more

Place was pretty clean and decently decorated. Their breakfasts combos--eggs, pancake, hash browns or home fries, and a variety of meats--pretty standard serving wise and taste wise. Nothing spectacular but it will do. Fruit bowl option is a plus for those needing some vitamins. The server was very sweet, which made me give this experience a 4star. Guac was everything !!!! It had the perfect balance of onions tomatoes and lime! Eggs were normal, and the potatoes a bit dry! I give it a 8.5/10 Now- the croissant french toast was BOMB! Its had warm berries and pecans and let me tell ya... wow. So crisp and fluffy! 100/10. My fiance got the philly cheese omelette and he loved it! It had enough protein and cheese! The only thing I didn't care for were the potatoes (not because they were not good, because they were more of a savory flavor) and everything else had more of a sweet flavor. The staff is friendly, the place is clean. It's very loud with echoing conversations. Good for groups. While things can certainly get busy at this location, and getting in and out of the parking lot is often a chore, I still drop in every now and then. Recently my stops have been timed for lunch rather than breakfast. I still get the Breakfastime BLT, and it seems they've gotten more consistent with keeping avocado on hand (see my previous review to hear about how they slapped some guac on there instead). The sandwich comes well loaded, and though it tends to fall apart in the plate it's still tasty. I've also learned to order it as a deluxe rather than getting a traditional side. The deluxe selection gets you either a bowl of soup (I think; might be a side salad) or a bowl of fruit. I get the latter option. And it's quite literally a salad bowl full of fruit. An entire banana sliced into chunks, several grapes and blueberries, pieces of cantaloupe and pineapple, and slices of kiwifruit and strawberries. It's not Walmart quality fruit either, as it's actually pretty good, and you get a lot in that bowl! This pairing of sandwich and fruit are currently priced under $10 before taxes (drink not included, but get some water and hydrate yourself). Service here is...pretty good. As business levels escalate at certain times, the attention you get might suffer a bit. On my most recent visit, the sandwich arrived well before the fruit; not a travesty but not ideal either. Do check your order carefully, as I've witnessed kitchen errors quite frequently (I often sit at the counter so I see and hear the exchanges between wait staff and the back of house). I will always express my wishes that breakfast-focused eateries should offer their wares all day, because I do sometimes like breakfast foods for dinner. Just a preference though, so it doesn't alter my rating, which is somewhere in the 3.75 to 4 star range. read more

She was quick with coffee refills but the order came after waiting quite a while for the toast and had to ask the hostess for it. It came out cold. We decided to check this place out because it is close to the house we are renting and gets great reviews. We were immediately impressed with the condition of the exterior of the building, patio area and landscaping, it really looks like it is well taken care of. The parking lot was busy but we were able to find a parking spot and headed in. The decor is very cozy and well kept. We were immediately greeted by someone at the hostess stand. She took our name and number in our party and before we knew it we were being led to a booth. Megan was our server and to say she is FANTASTIC is an understatement! She is friendly, efficient, knows the menu, etc. etc. We also observed her talking to an older couple who she obviously had served before and she knew how they took their coffee, etc. Again, she is INCREDIBLE at what she does. The menu is huge, there are lots of breakfast and lunch options and you would be hard pressed to not satisfy everyone in your party. And, the prices, WOW, we still cannot believe how affordable it is. We have been here multiple times since moving to the area and everything has been great. I had breakfast at Breakfastime today. The waitress brought our food and left. As I was preparing to eat my food I noticed it was lukewarm. I waited for the waitress to come back and check on us but she did not. I asked another waitress to get her but she did not come right away. When she did come I explained that my food was lukewarm. She said too much time had passed and they would not do anything about it. I asked her to take it off our bill. She left and another lady came. She said it had been 20 minutes and that they could heat up my food. I asked her to take it off the bill she grabbed the plate and left. Most of what I ordered was removed but not all that was lukewarm. I was disappointed because I usually have a good experience here and the customer service was lacking today. read more
