Breakfastime is always a solid option for breakfast in this area. You can get breakfast sandwiches, egg plates, pancakes, waffles, and so much more! They also have a lunch menu that you can order from at lunch time. They are breakfast and lunch only, though so make sure you get there in time. The food is always consistent and good. Nothing has ever been above and beyond, but for a yummy breakfast you don't have to cook yourself, it's perfect. The service is always great. They consistently have a full staff (at least it seems) and their workers are always buzzing around busy as bees. These restaurants are always so cute, too. The decor with the farm house/chicken and eggs theme is so fun for a breakfast joint. You can't go wrong with Breakfastime. There is something for everyone!

This is my first time visiting this latest Breakfast Time restaurant, I usually go to the one in Clemmons. Since its more convenient I selected this one. Actually I'm glad I did, the service is quick, I got a table right away even though the place was pretty busy on a Saturday and food was good. I wasn't very hungry so I ordered grits with cheese and hashbrowns. They were good made just right. My friends food was an eye popper. She ordered the philly steak sub it was huge! She's a bit particular about how her food comes out so I was glad that they allowed substitutions for her. We had a very hospitable servicer who was very friendly and made sure everything we asked for was to our liking. The only problem was she was so busy she forgot to bring out extra condiments we asked for several times. She did well to check on us though and to make sure my coffee cup was never empty for this coffee hound, that was worth 5 stars right there.... I noticed that the egg shortage our country is experiencing now hit this breakfast place too as there was a big sign on the door saying that eggs are 50 cents more than usual. There is a nice stone outdoor patio that you can go to if you want your food and fresh air to experience the nice weather. The restaurant is open till 3pm each day so drop in anytime before then for breakfast or lunch, there's plenty of parking. I know I will be visiting again soon.

Cheeseburger Club!!!!! Outstanding and great value

This place was great. Wasn't sure they would be be open due to the snow but they were. I had the Cheeseburger Club and it was great!!! Service was great and the atmosphere was very comfortable and creative. Can't wait to try it again on my next trip to Winston-Salem.

What a huge breakfast and did I mention the extra free egg!

I realize I have several reviews for this location. It is a testament to how awesome the food and service is. We had the most lovely server this last time. The food is always on point. It is quick, hot, and delicious. As long as I have been coming here, I have not had a bad meal or bad experience. I am glad they are not close to me or I would eat here weekly! In all honesty, I do wish they would consider adding a location in Stokesdale, oak ridge, or kernersville! I would be your spokesperson.

Side of fruit - with a dolphin banana...

We recently stopped in for breakfast here - our server was so nice and very prompt! Hubby and I both got omelets - which we devoured. The home fries were dynamite and the side of fruit was so cute with lots of variety!! An easy stop off for breakfast when in the area!

Ok. I'm old and have eaten at MANY great breakfast places. This place takes a cake. Or the eggs. However, you like them. I'm new to this area, but I've eaten here four times now and I've been amazed every time. Breakfast time anytime is an amazing place you get great value. The service is incredible and the food can't be beaten. If you're in the area, come check out the homie ambience. Rest assured, you will be fed. For the price, the portions are absolutely huge. And I can't say how tasty. You will not be disappointed.

Empty table not even drinks even after 20 minutes and two requests for a server to take our order
Ron N.

First off I usually have a good experience at Breakfastime. The one in Clemmons is always spot on and have had good experiences at this Hanes Mall Blvd location as well until Today. Upon arrival we requested a warm booth, the hostess proceeded to seat us at a table with chairs in a cooler part of the restaurant. We asked her to reseat us to a booth near the bar area where it was warmer. She did, but wasn't happy about it. The table still had dishes from the previous patrons and we had to ask twice to have it cleared and cleaned. Once seated with menus NO server ever came to take our order. I again spoke to the hostess who said she would have the server come over. 5-minutes later...still no server. I then got up and walked to the cashier to ask if he could get someone to take our order. Five more minutes later still no server. Time to walk out, but before I did I did talk with the manager on duty. She confronted the Hostess and Server involved but no apology. Yes anyone can have a bad day, but the restaurant was not busy and for three people to drop the ball makes me wonder if something else is going wrong at this Breakfastime location.

Excellent breakfast and service. Their menu is very extensive. I took out of town guests where they were very impressed with the vast menu choices. A keeper!

I have a lot of places that I must stop by before I leave Winston Salem. I must say this was my very first visit to Breakfastime, but it most certainly won't be the last. It has now been added to our must eat list before heading back to MD. From the time we entered the restaurant we felt very welcomed and the food was hot, fresh and absolutely delicious. Thank you so much for a great breakfast on top of excellent customer service! 5 stars all around!

My friend ordered the breakfast burrito, it was huge! For a side she had the sweet potato tots. She let me steal a bite of both and yum! I opted for the Hot Honey Chicken with Pimento Benedict and wow! I was nervous the pimento cheese would be overpowering, but it wasn't at all! It was a nice, creamy complement to the spicy crispy chicken. The hollandaise cut through some of the richness for a pleasant mellower. Prices are reasonable and our waitress was great! The restaurant is larger than it looks but it does get quite crowded. Can't wait to come back here!

This is a solid restaurant with much to offer in the brunch/breakfast area - an area that has become popular and chic, and it almost always means much will be expensive, usual very expensive considering the less than costly menu ingredients that drive food choices here, and other such brunch spots. Brunch is seen as more than just a meal for some folks who are all into what is trendy, and restaurant are aware of this and prices are raised due to the "experience" element! I have tried several items here including their version of Huevos Rancheros (not a fan of how they make it, pulled pork is a party foul), the Eggs Benedict (decent but over priced for sure, $17 with bacon added), and several Omelette choices, can reach $15. This is obviously a popular spot in downtown Winston, but I find it generally overpriced, loud, and the service is inconsistent. I like a good adventure, but somethings simply are not worth the cost! Note that the prices for individual items are written, very lightly with no $ sign to the right of the item. This is done intentionally to make the customer pay less attention to what they spending. Many restaurants are using some form of this approach!

It's a cool spot with good people. The food was pretty hit or miss. The loaded tots seemed interesting, but really...the just end up a little greasy and kind of unnecessary. Overall flavor is mudled and you don't really get anything by throwing duck on tots. I was hoping it would be one of those dishes that just magically work and are fantastic...but eh, kind of a let down. We also shared a bunch of other dishes. The pimento cheese sandwich was tasty but really hard to eat (the cheese pours out of it). We had their pasta, the duck sandwich (again. It was ok. Not great) the grain bowls seemed enjoyable, etc. We also got some desserts to share. The bourbon bread pudding again, was a pretty big let down. There was generally nothing bourbon about it. The chocolate tart was ok. The food wasn't bad, it just felt like some key items that they seemed to use to elevate their menu as a whole were just misses. But there are absolutely some solid dishes on the menu. The price is also a little high for what you get.

Their plain latte was not that good but their vanilla latte was very good. Biscuits: WOW! The Hangover Cure is hefty with plenty of biscuit to go around - I had some to take home with me. This is our Sunday Brunch experience - phenomenal. We were looking for something new and…read morediscovered that Founders has brunch with Gluten Free chicken and waffles which is something we haven't found in North Carolina yet. Technically they have to use the same waffle maker so if you are a severe Celiac you should be aware of that, luckily our party member is able to chance very slight cross-contamination so it was not a worry big enough to override the desire for waffles. If it is an issue for you, they offer pancakes instead so you can still have a treat. We did not experience any ill-effects but your mileage may vary of course. Both the gluten free and standard breakfast options were terrific, it seems like everything was made in-house. We will absolutely be back. It seems like they have some limitations on how much of certain foods they can turn out (for example, they probably only have a handful of waffle makers) so it did take a little while to get our food. This isn't uncommon for brunch at many places but I don't know what it's like during dinner service so I can't speak to that. The place itself is beautiful, it looks like an old home or B&B and it's got a cozy charm. My only complaint was the Mimosa price being a bit high and the drink itself just being a standard cava+orange juice. I'd love to see $2 knocked off the Mimosa price if I could choose, but otherwise everything was so good. Finally, do get a reservation or be prepared to wait during the top hours.

We called ahead last week to reserve a table for 8 but it ended up being just the 6 of us. They still sat us at a nice oversized table (almost too large) in a semi-private room which was a pleasant surprise. Our waiter Brandon was very nice and friendly, prompt with orders, and always checking back in regularly. He also offered some suggestions on personal and fan favorites (shrimp and grits, beignets) I can't resist flight options when they're on the menu, so I had to go with the mimosa flight. I tried the sunrise, tropical, and Tiffany (OJ/tequila, bacardi/coconut/pineapple, and lemonade / blue zest). My favorite was actually the Tiffany even though I'm not a huge fan of lemonade, it was light and refreshing and crisp/chill, exactly how I love it. The other two were tasty but not as cold - I asked for ice - but probably because they're made with tequilas that aren't refrigerated. For our entrees, we got an assortment of benedicts, salads, and chicken/waffles. I personally had the pork belly benedict. The pork belly itself was really good and the poached eggs were perfectly runny, but as a whole, it fell a little flat, just didn't quite deliver the entire burst of flavor I was hoping for. It was not bad by any means, I think it just needed a/more sauce or something. All in all though, we had a great time and would definitely return. Pricing is pretty fair/standard as well. I could definitely be tempted by the martini or margarita flight next time as well as the beignets which we totally forgot about after the waiter initially suggested them!
