We ordered the chicken alfredo (delicious) and the pork chops. The pork chops that were described on the menu as tender were literally so tough they were inedible. I always get a steak and cheese Stromboli with their homemade sauce dip and mild wings because the sauce is addicting I wish there was one in Charlotte, NC because I would be there every day. We came here for team dinner. It was a group of 16 of us. They were very accommodating considering our large party. Our server was Danny, and he was on top of ensuring everything was happy! He did an amazing job! Christo's has a large menu of burgers, sandwiches, salads, pizzas and pastas. They also have a pizza buffet, including a salad bar and dessert pizza options. Stopped in again the other day for the salad and pizza buffet. Was seated immediately and the friendly staff brought out drinks out quickly. Salad bar always has a ton of options, but I wish they had the available dressings labeled. Always face the classic pizzas, cheese, pepperoni, veggies, and a few not so typical topping combos here and there. Each time I come they seem to have a different dessert pizza available as well. Bathrooms have always been clean, never seems to get too noisy in the dining area, and laying at the end is quick and easy. Hanging out in Lexington so we stumbled upon Christi's Original and decided too stop in. The parking lot was pretty full, but there was still plenty of parking. The first impression is so crucial to a business which is why you need a good host at the door greeting and seating the customers. The host that seated us was dull and cold. She could have been better if she just cared a little. Now our waitress Mandy was full of energy and very attentive. The food was really good. There were quite a few pizza selections but there was no way to tell what some of them were topped with, and for vegetarian and non pork eaters that was a concern. There was a lady who did her best to stand behind the counter and tell what the different pizzas were; (in between restocking and cashing folks out). The salad bar is good, with lots of choices, but again there was no way to tell what meats were on display. The only complaint we had was that some of the food was not that hot. Had the penne arrabbiata and loved the kick of heat it brought. The sauce was tangy and spicy but didn't overpower the rest of the dish. The pasta itself had a great texture and held up really well to the sauce. I added grilled chicken which was a good call. Staff were kind and didn't rush us even though it was a bit busy. This is my first time at this location. We went for lunch and arrived around 1:30. There was about 15 to 20% of their tables and booths utilized at that time so not very busy at all. They had a salad bar and a pizza bar that also included dessert pizza! The salad bar looked fresh and had a pretty good selection of salad fixings.I ordered the steak and cheese wrap, which was good but also rather greasy. To be fair, my server told me that it was greasy when I was asking about recommendations but I still ordered it. I had hot chips with it, and they have the good ranch! (if you know, you know!) I'll have to go back and try their grilled chicken Caesar wrap, and also their wings which I hear are pretty great! Our server was very friendly, accommodating, and quick. Cristo's has been around forever, and I have been here a number of times over the years. Each time, I have been pleased with the service and food. Often I'll just order the salad bar, but today I bought a chicken caesar salad. It was big and pretty tasty. I've known this family since Christo opened his first restaurant in Lexington. I have brought my family and friends to the locations for many years. the food was spectacular! I've never given a bad review. but charging me 35$ for a pan of plain Greek salad with dressing is not acceptable! BUYER BEWARE Ordered a large pizza and a couple salads. The salads came from the salad bar, grant it they came from the salad bar. Had I known that a small salad was going to cost 7.95 each I certainly would have not ordered a salad, "from the salad bar" I asked the Mgr about that and no concessions, 16 bucks for 2 salads. Extreme, the manager kept saying she understood, she was the most unprofessional manager I've ever had to deal with. She did not care. Visited on May 7, 2021 when family came to visit. We had always enjoyed our meals there. This time was different. Our waitress was great- pleasant and attentive. However, the food was not up to what we have come to expect. I had the half chicken sub. Almost every piece of chicken had gristle. Fries were limp and soggy. My grandson had the kids' chicken tender meal and the chicken was so overcooked he didn't eat it. One granddaughter had the kids' fettuccini Alfredo and it was in a glump in her bowl. My son ordered fried veggies and again they were way overcooked. The appetizer fried green beans were delicious though and my other granddaughter seemed to enjoy her chicken dish. I'm hoping this was a one time deal. The place was pretty busy. Next time I really want to have the Christo's food I've come to expect and enjoy. read more

If you live in a town long enough, a lot of places come and go. Christo's has two, one on the lower end of main street in the old Coke building, the second on Cotton Grove Rd. in the old Mercury Marine Center building. You might not can buy a coke there or a boat, but they sure have good pizza, great subs, good salad bar, killer wings, Great service, Cold beer either at the bar or at a table with your friends. The buffet is always well stocked,we've had their subs delivered to work, Its always a healthy size sandwich. Some of the specialty salads that you order off the menu look really good too..The wait staff is quick to seat you and get to eating.
