Staff were very nice and checked up on us while we ate. The service made our visit pleasant. Ordered pizza at the cashier first and then sat at one of the tables to wait for the food to be cooked. One large pizza was enough for the two of us and our toddler. We had a pizza with bell pepper and mushrooms. Pizza itself was alright, did the job of satisfying our pizza craving. We also had a meatball calzone, decent tasting. Before entrees arrived, had a chef salad that came with some kind of rosemary salad dressing. While I can appreciate the abundance of cheese and ham, it just wasn't good. Came with way too much green olives, and served over iceberg lettuce. What a delightful surprise to find such a treasure trove in a tiny little town! The pizza was the perfect cheesy slice of pepperoni pizza. The onions rings were crispy and tasted perfect with ranch! And the jalapeño peppers were stuffed with cream cheese and maybe were my favorite item we ordered. It was easy to order online and then when we pulled up, we saw there was a drive thru! I had Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken. The chicken was in chunks and tasted like it came from a can- was definitely not grilled chicken. The sauce smelled like it was "smoked" or maybe it was the bacon/pancetta smell. Maybe, it was Carbonara instead of Alfredo but it was awful. Wow! This was a first time visit to Lexington, and we're craving pizza! We looked at reviews online and made a decision! The building was not impressive, the girl who greeted us was obviously new , needs polishing but the gentleman who answered my questions was amazing! Great call! Elizabeth's pizza express has two other locations, one in Thomasville and one in Denton. I've never tried those locations but I've always heard they were really good! We finally got our locations opened and I had to try it for myself. We ordered two large, two topping pizzas. Very large pizzas! 16 inches and they have huge slices. Love the flavor and the toppings. The crust was crunchy, but not enough to break teeth - really good! We also ordered wings and mozzarella sticks. The wings were kinda on the small size but the hot sauce on it was flavorful as well and had a good spice! Mozzarella sticks were kinda too salty on the breading of it, but the marinara sauce was where it was at! We called our order in, then picked up ourselves. The quality of the ingredients used really stood out to me. I'm a big guy (6'2" 240) and I got a small calzone and mozz sticks. It was the perfect amount of food. Calzone dough was crispy and fluffy and the mozz sticks were well breaded and delicious. Highly recommend and will eat here again next time I'm in town. read more

I ordered from doordash. I wrote a review on their but it was denied so I'm writing it here. I ordered a pizza and wings on March 2nd. When I got my order, I opened the box and saw it didn't look like the pizza I ordered. I ordered a vegetarian pizza with bell peppers, jalapeños, and onions. I got a pizza with cut up tomatoes, onions, jalapeños, bell peppers, OLIVES, and MUSHROOMS. I hate mushrooms. I don't like them. I threw the pizza away. The wings were good though, thus why I'm giving it 2 stars. I also just received my refund from doordash today...they wanted to check with the store to solve this problem -_- even though I sent them pictures of the wrong pizza. I don't know if I'll go back here again. Maybe in one year when I forget what happened. read more
