Ordered fried ravioli and they lost the filling in the fryer - every one was mostly empty. Not worth the cost. Limoncello cake was a whim add on. Wish we had skipped. The cooler is always stocked with desserts and looks good but now we know. The box was dated 19 days ago. If this was the prep date, it's 12 days past its good by date - especially given the cheese in the topping/filling. It tasted pungent. No go. Another waste of $. Final straw tonight was biting into a staple in my salad. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt that it fell in from opening the bag (they staple receipts to the bag and to close). But still the risk not worth it here, folks. Mama Mia would be smart to invest in a roll of stickers. I'm less than impressed tonight by one of our go to fast casual Italian spots. With plenty of notice, this was no issue, and they were actually 20 minutes early making the delivery of a stack of hot pizza's to our office. We had minimal interaction with the staff, only the driver, who was friendly. The pizzas were all tasty, and as i mentioned delivered hot and ready to eat. They didn't skimp on toppings, especially for the meat lovers pizzas, they were loaded up. The crust wasn't anything that WOWed me though, it was soft, and thin, but lacked any real flavor. But any pizza is good pizza in my opinion. Their pricing was fair, and they delivered as scheduled!

That said, I have had pizzas either by take-out or delivery several times over what has to be 30 years now. Lately, I had a couple basic pizzas from them at a function in downtown, and we also stopped in for lunch on a total whim, wanting a pizza buffet. First, the pizzas over the years. I would say, on par with most of the locally owned pizza and local franchise spots around, like an Elizabeth's. Sometimes, I would describe the pizza as dry, other times, the sauce ratio is a little better and it is quite good. The pizza is a solid 4 stars, I would say, if you're considering a pizza... go for it, decide for yourself. Now, our most recent experience inside the restaurant, was simply not a positive one. We came in around 1pm, wanting to do the pizza buffet. Unfortunately, looking at what was available, it just wasn't appealing. The pizza was very cold, it needed a refresh. We expressed this to the waitress. If she had said "we'll make you a fresh pizza of whichever type you want" we'd have been game. That's not the response we got, so we moved on to hot subs. I ordered the meatball sub, my wife ordered chicken parm. The meatball was, just ok. The meatballs themselves were sliced and warm, sauce was the same I was used to from the pizza, cheese could have used more time to melt, but overall... I was OK. Her sandwich, was not good at all. She did write her own review about it, and I happen to agree. It's generally expected that ordering a chicken parm sandwich at an italian pizzeria is going to be a breaded cutlet. What was given was the shaved chicken that you would normally see if someone orders chicken on a pizza (not my thing, but to each their own). The result was very very dry chicken. The sandwich sat on her plate with two bites taken out of it for the meal duration. No prompt was given for whether we enjoyed our meal. In all, I learned my lesson that day, that this place is good for a fresh pizza. I'll only go that route in the future. The sandwiches were simply not our preference. The chicken parm needs to be rethought, or better explained as shaved chicken.

I'm normally an eggplant parm person but on my last trip, I decided to try the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. It was $16 and comes with a salad and garlic bread. It melts in your mouth! After walking through a portion of the brewery, we saw that Pour Folk Provisions is located in a smaller suite type area which is closed off via a door from the main brewery. We walked inside and could see the menu on the chalkboard on the wall with an order counter. We perused the menu and spoke to the young man at the counter who was friendly and helpful in explaining a few items to us. We knew we had to order the pretzel with the beer cheese to share, and my wife chose the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. I decided on a small Conductor pizza which has marinara, mozzarella, bacon, grilled chicken, Italian sausage and pepperoni. We paid at the counter and were given a pager which would alert us to pick our food up at the counter when ready. We went back into the brewery area and I ordered a beer flight before we grabbed a table outside. I sampled the beers and we talked as we waited for the pager to go off. When the pager went off, my wife went to go pick up our food. She came back shortly later saying it was a false alarm and they were not sure why it went off. She proceeded to use the restroom and reported that it was well stocked and clean. Just before she returned, the pager went off again. I did not want to leave our stuff at the table so, I waited for her to return. When she did, she went to retrieve our meals. The salad was in a disposable bowl and looked pretty wimpy. Everything else was packaged in to-go containers, which we understand but we always appreciate real silverware and trays vs. disposable containers. The pretzel was smiling at us, (sunglasses and all) I think I heard it say, "Eat me!" The pizza looked bigger than I was anticipating for a small and looked delicious. We proceeded to eat our meals as I sampled the beers. Based on our experience and the other food we saw fellow customers eating we would probably order the pretzel again, the nachos looked incredible and the pizza. Overall, it was a good experience and we would stop in again.

I was quite pleased, the NY Style crust was a good quality and wasn't too thick or too thin. The ingredients were all well proportioned as well. It can be a little tough to find parking during the busier nights so grab what you can if the lot fills up!
