    Supreme

Grabbed a couple pizzas tonight for a showroom dinner in Highpoint. We ordered the Rome pizza (supreme), ham and pineapple, and a cheese. All were decent. Nothing amazing, But i will say the supreme was absolutely loaded with toppings. It was very hearty 1-2 slices was more than filling. The ham and pineapple also had a very generous portion of toppings. Service was good and pizzas were ready in about 15 minutes.

Large Garlic Bread Large Grilled Chicken Salad and pizza More than enough for two people to share.

First time trying this place bc they have later hours and it's within 3-4 mins of my home. I always see a decent amount of people in the restaurant as it sits at the corner of the stoplight. We ordered an extra large pizza with pepperoni, onions, green peppers, and mushrooms, a garlic cheesy bread, and a chicken salad with balsamic dressing. The order took about 10 mins to complete and when I went to pick it up, on my way out, I got almost to the door and realized I was forgetting the salad. I turned around reminded them and even asked if the balsamic dressing was in the bag, since they'd forgotten the salad at first. He assured me it was and I left. When I got home I realized that there were no mushrooms on our pizza and no dressing for the salad. The garlic cheesy bread was delicious! Great side! The pizza was pretty good, but the toppings were not spread out evenly on the slices. Some slices has plenty of veggies and other slices had two. The chicken salad had plenty of warm chicken on top of it. There were also green peppers, onions, a few tomatoes, Mozz cheese and some cumbers on top of iceberg lettuce. Overall, taste is ok, I'd try the restaurant again bc of great prices and hours, but Marcos will continue to be my go-to pizza spot!

Mozz sticks, just needed a little heat up, very tasty. (Kids can make things cool down quickly!)

You are probably already put the math together yourself if you're even looking this joint up, but I would give her a go. Had good reviews and pictures from my fellow Yelpers, and it didn't disappoint. Mozzarella sticks could have been cheesier, but I'm not short of two ovens and a constant surplus of marinara. The meatball Stromboli was large and buttery, meatballs mild, yet savory. Great cheese ratio and sweet tomato sauce. I love a good sausage sub, they didn't disappoint. Although I would have preferred, they do not offer a "sausage parm" Stromboli, and did offer to accommodate, but I just kept it classic. Very kind order customer rep I placed order with. Recommend for sure. :)

Been going here for almost 10 years now and the pizza never disappoints. In need of a great NY style pizza look no further. Always quick great service and have never received a wrong order. Delicious homemade ranch as well.

    Philly Steak and Cheese Sub

Rome is my go to place to order delivery late night on the weekends. Fast service, low prices, and fresh tasting food. I got the usual pizza and a sub order. It's not the best Philly steak style pizza I've ever had, but it's one of the more loaded Philly steak pizzas! I'm not a fan of using the tomato sauce with a Philly style. I gotta appreciate how much steak is on there though. Might not look like too much in the picture, just take my word for it. My favorite thing at Rome is the Philly cheesesteak subs. I get the special which includes steak, lettuce, tomato, green peppers, onions, and mushrooms! The veggies are always grilled perfectly every time I order. Never too soft or too hard. Just right! Of course the steak portion size will always satisfy you. Definitely add a sub to your pizza order. Also Rome has some of the best house made ranch I've ever tasted. I love ranch so I've tried so many brands and so many house ranch from restaurants. Rome is up there so please ask for a cup of ranch on the side. Worth the extra 50 cents!

First time ordering pizza from Rome and we were excited to have finally found a true white pizza. It arrived however with no fresh tomato which basically made it a white and green pizza ( we added a few things like spinach, onion, and mushrooms) and pretty dry as a result. Disappointed for sure. Salad was nice but come on...get the orders right please. We don't eat out so when we do we want it to be right.

Cheese bread was excellent. Good pizza too served hot. The crust we had was thinner. Very clean place.

The pasta left a little to be desired. Price was not bad. I will probably try the pizza in the future.

Nice selection of IPAs and other drinks at the bar. We had the Boss and the Peace Train. The pizza is outstanding! The Boss is really good--sausage along with the crust make this a must eat option. The bar staff did a great job of checking in with us during our time there. Well run team. Between the beer selection, bar seating vibe, and top-notch pizza, this is an easy spot to come back to. We will certainly check it out when we are back in town.

I love when businesses really dive into their themes. The loaded fries were delicious. Including both solid (shredded cheddar) and liquid (white queso) cheese in one dish is a genius touch. I can't believe I've never thought to do that before. We paid to add fresh jalapeños to it, which added a nice fresh and spicy kick. Other than that, this was not a good experience. I did not enjoy the pizza, and the service was practically non-existent. Our server was nowhere to be found for the first 10 minutes or so, and then failed to bring drinks for several minutes after that. And it was not busy in there at all -- lots of open tables, and plenty of staff standing around. After delivering drinks and taking our order, he did not come back. We saw him walking around in other parts of the dining room, but he did not check on us. Several minutes after finishing our drinks, no refill in sight, we flagged him down and asked for a refill, which he brought. At this point, someone else had already delivered our food, and we were well into our meal. After bringing the one drink refill, we did not see him again until we asked for the check. The pizza was pretty dry, and did not come with vodka sauce as advertised. It was a red sauce not-so-thoroughly-mixed with Alfredo. I actually don't think they mixed them at all prior to putting it on the crust -- there were quite a few unmixed pockets, so I think they dolloped both on and swirled it around. I'm sure this does achieve a vodka-like flavor if executed correctly, but that was not the case here. Vodka sauce is typically silkier, more acidic, and far less sweet than this was. I didn't really like the red sauce at all here, and would definitely not order it (or their so-called vodka sauce) again. More salt/garlic would help, but I'd probably go with another base entirely, if I were to come back. In all, this is a great place to come if you're super into music, like appetizers, don't plan on eating pizza, and want to tip an aloof teenager for doing absolutely nothing.

Tucked away in a small strip of businesses off Main Street, it's an unassuming place that is easy to miss but is a must stop. It's a small location sometimes cramped when they're busy but worth the wait. The only downside here is they close abnormally early for a pub so you've got to go early!

By the standards of the latter, it's nothing special. We ordered a medium George's Combo pizza (pepperoni, sausage, beef, green peppers, and mushrooms) and an order of fried mushrooms. Food was read on-time, and it looked good. The pizza was generously topped, and the mushrooms were a nice golden brown. Those mushrooms were addictively good. Dip them in ranch, and you'll have a hard time stopping yourself from eating more than you should. The pizza was more of a mixed bag. The toppings were tasty as was the sauce: robust with just a hint of sweetness. However, the crust was mediocre, and $20-plus seemed steep for a medium pie. I can imagine that George's might be a fun place to watch a game, and it's certainly convenient, but it's far from the best pizza option in town.

The restaurant was clean and the staff were nice. Our order was simple: side salad with Italian, a 12" pepperoni pizza and 3 garlic knots with ranch. When my husband arrived, the salad and pizza was ready, but when the person he spoke to read the ticket he realized the garlic knots had not been made at all. My husband asked about the double pepperoni - Mario's no longer allows double toppings after 4pm on the weekends. When the garlic knots were done, my husband and our food came home. My husband's name was on the salad bag. The pizza box said "Mike" - spoiler alert, that's not my husband's name. No issues with the salad. He was disappointed because there were white onions on the salad and he didn't add any to the pizza because last time they had red onions. No complaints with the salad. We ordered 3 garlic knots, but they must have felt bad as they gave us 6 - with marinara, not ranch as asked. The kicker was "Mike's" pizza. Mike must have ordered a cheese pizza and then never picked it up. Pepperoni was added and it was tossed back in the oven long enough for the cheese to melt around the pepperoni, but not long enough to reheat the whole pizza. Nice try Mario's, but we're not impressed. It will be awhile before we order from here again!

Gotta love a good southernism. I still like a whole pizza fresh when it comes to this style. Unless you happen to come at a busy time (actually prefered in this case) you may be getting a re-heated slice that could have been out of the oven for quite awhile. Reheating pizza by the slice to order is of course a common industry practice, but once they sit a bit too long, your end result can be less than ideal. If I think I can eat the leftovers, or definitely if I am sharing with someone, I definitely go the full pizza route. All in all, while I don't tell anyone to rush to Mario's because you absolutely have to have it, it is as reliable as they come at pretty much any of their locations... and that is much appreciated.
