My husband and I were very excited to try this restaurant for his birthday. We were "welcomed" by a harried hostess, who just seemed to have arrived. The restaurant itself was very nice. The tables were already set, and I did notice my bread/salad plate was dirty. The meal was fantastic and the homemade bread they brought out was delicious and warm. I got the chicken involtini, and it was very good. The lemon wine sauce was very lemony, though. I got pasta as a side, and that was great too! My husband got the tiramisu, and it was seriously amazing!! Our service was okay. At one point, we had to ask another worker if we could order our main dishes as our servers didn't come back for a while. I also asked for another salad/bread plate, and never received one. I would expect a little more attentive service for this type of restaurant, hence the 4 out of 5 stars.

First time at Giovanni's and it definitely won't be the last! I loved the vibe of the place and the decor. We arrived at 5:30 on a Friday early for dinner. They seemed like they weren't quite ready to open as the service was a bit slow upon arrival. Especially considering we were some of the only people there. But the food definitely made up for it! I ordered the lamb lollipops and escargot as appetizers. Both were amazing! I also loved the bread and oil it was served with. I couldn't get enough! The wine list by the glass was a bit lacking but the Chianti was pretty good. For my main I ordered the lobster ravioli. It was amazing as well! As it was my birthday they provided a complementary dessert. The tiramisu was some of the best I have had! Overall a great night aside from the bit of slow service at the beginning. I will for sure be back!

This is one of the best Italian restaurants in Greensboro! The lollipop lamp chops are tender and in a wine gravy sauce that is heaven. The sausage in the spaghetti is spicy good. I crave this food. Run to this restaurant.

It's pretty nice inside and our server was terrific. She gave us everything correctly and was very attentive. The food was incredible and I would definitely go back there again. There was a strange guy though at the front though, and he was acting really strange. Yes he did work there.

Should have taken a photo when the food first arrived

Friendly staff. Owner came out and spoke with us. All very personal and caring. Restaurant has been around for 20 years, which comes to no surprise. The food was outstanding. We ordered the lasagne and the spaghetti carbonara; already ready for our next visit. Thanks Giovanni's. See you soon.

Entrees were amazing. Very filling. Oyster wasn't my best choice. Ambiance was wonderful!

I ordered the swordfish. It was fishy. I think it should be cooked in lemon juice to combat the fishy taste. My husband got the filet mignon which he enjoyed. He ordered an old fashioned but got a negroni instead. I got a glass of white wine which was refreshing. I love the oil and bread. Staff was nice. The food did take a little while though. It was not busy on a Sunday night.

I didn't recall that there was a bar in the rear and made sure to snap a shot of their weekly board. I'd return to check out some of their events or even just to grab a bottle of wine. I selected a Riesling that did not disappoint and a Cabernet Sauvignon by Jam. I forgot to snap a pick of the Riesling but I'll return to grab it again! I'd say it's a place you could easily overlook but if you did stumble in here, you might find a brew or want to hang out at the bar for a bit. There's more to this place that I'd like to see and look forward to more reasons to visit.

So parking is very limited but worth the trouble to stop in for a nice variety of wines in a busy, cozy, unique tavern. They have friendly staff that serve at and around the bar and tables in a effortless manner that amazes me when the place is hopping. I did not have to wait long to place my request or receive same. I inquired about the wine tasting for $5.00 and was told you would receive 2 tastings of white wine. Perhaps they do reds on a different night but I didn't ask. There is a written wine list of reds and whites to order full glasses of whites or reds which should suffice. I asked folks what they were drinking and there were many red wine-o's ha ha. The Bordeaux drinkers were happy with their choice and the Malbec drinkers were satisfied with their choice and commented the wine was soft. I chose a cold Chenin Blanc mostly cuz I haven't seen it on a menu in the Triad for quite some time. It was quite good great nose of sweetness but dry enough to be a good all round table wine. Its similar to Pinot Gregio but not dry or tart. I think when I'm back in GSO I will stop in to this unique wine bar again as it was a nice experience and everyone seemed very chill and friendly.

The vibe is pure microbrewery and I'm so here for it! They are a hybrid brewery/taproom so they have 5-6 of their own beers and a variety of other local/NC breweries, which is great to keep options open while also showcasing in-house brewing! Jeff, the owner & brewer, was behind the bar when I came in and he is the epitome of the foundation of the craft brew scene. All of the in-house beers were fantastic! The quality and beer artistry that went into the beers was evident with each sip! Also, u gotta luv a place that commits to a theme! This one is board sports and from the name to the decor to the beer names, it is ubiquitous and I'm so here for it! The taproom is small yet weirdly spacious...w/bar, table, upstairs, and even patio seating! So come for the beers and stay for the flight boards (as each one is unique)! Beers had: -Vert Ramp Vanilla Cream Ale 5.3% The flavor notes on both the nose & body/finish on this one -Mile Marker 55 Mango Wit 5% Luved that the hint of very distinct mango was on the finish and the wheat/wit was on the front/middle palate! -Morning Sesh Coffee Stout 7% The coffee was prevalent but not overpowering...I could have this beer w/bfast! Parking was sufficent in front of the entrance but not sure we would be that successful on a High Point Rockers game night. With 20 rotating taps, there's something for every taste: craft beer, wine by the glass and by the bottle, new specialty pours to try and mocktails, making it a go-to destination for locals and visitors alike. Seasonal cocktails were flowing the nights we visited--peppermint espresso martinis, spiced nightcaps, and cranberry-ginger mules kept the holiday spirit high during the cold night. Then karaoke took over, with the whole room singing along to crowd favorites like "Don't Stop Believin'," "Sweet Caroline," that Hawaiian Christmas song haha plus there was a dramatic, everyone-at-the-bar version of "All I Want for Christmas Is You." It's the kind of cozy-but-lively night where Christmas spirit meets late-night funand no one wanted the music to end. The super peppy bartenders kept the atmosphere energetic and welcoming, even on that rainy night. This place is perfect for meeting friends, girls night out, first dates or lingering after a great meal. Weekly events like trivia nights, karaoke, and live music keep the vibe lively and fun, ensuring there's always something happening. The whole building is open so if you need a quite, romantic spot away from the others to talk, maybe lay out a card game or just to escape that "song you hate on karoke", patrons can sit at other, comfy tables throughout the establishment (and take your drinks). Whether you're there for the drinks, the entertainment, or the community feel, Bevelry delivers a consistently great experience. There's even an outdoor bar area (named Cahoots) that opens during warm weather- so we might see you there in the summer after a game!

They were topped with lobster, bacon, scallions, and a creamy sauce: rich, indulgent, and great for sharing. For the main dish, I had the Ribeye steak with a side of cauliflower mash. The steak had a nice sear and great flavor, and the cauliflower mash was smooth, creamy and delicious, making it a great alternative to traditional mashed potatoes. After a some discussion and online menu review, we settled on Rixster. We've, been many times in the past, but haven't placed a to go order since the days of Covid I called in the our order as I was finishing up a few errands, the hostess who took the order was very friendly and said it would be ready in 20-25 minutes. After some debate, I decided to try something different on this visit, and got the Hawaiian Chicken Grill sandwich with a side of a Mac & cheese. Getting home, I opened the to go container to find a massive slab of chicken, sticking out both sides of the bun, not surprising based on my past varieties of chicken sandwiches from Rixster Grill!
