Been a while since I dined at Earl's Landing. So glad that nothing has changed. The service and attentiveness from staff was still on point and the food still as good. Definitely a great spot for those special meals.

Came to Earls Landing for our anniversary dinner after we heard good things about this restaurant. It's located in a really cool spot that I didn't know existed. Its interior is super chic, I love the vibe. We started with these little breads that were so good, I always have this theory if the bread is really good then everything else will be as well. Our waitress was super kind and very attentive, she checked in on us frequently (but not too much) and was overall super great. Now let's get to the food, we started with the beef tartar which was good and the presentation was wonderful. So I'm not going to lie I'm battling some pretty bad allergies so I could not taste a single thing I ate tonight but everything had great presentation and my husband said everything was really good. Now I know the food was good because I could just tell but I'm going to have to come back after these allergies go away because what's the point of life if you can't taste food? Also they surprised us with a brownie topped with ice cream for our anniversary which was special but again I could not taste it so I was so sad. You'll see me back for sure!

My date took me here for valentines. The atmosphere was inviting. We had reservations. As soon as we checked in we got seated, ordered drinks and they served our drinks right away.. I tryed the lavender haze cocktails it was good but the gin is a bit strong on the bitter side. For appetizers we got one complimentary butter bread roll per person for our dinner. It was good but small. Many steakhouses serves one bread basket per table. We ordered the tuna tower it was flavorful but would of enjoyed it better with crackers or wonton strips. I ordered the filet mignon crab oscar ( 8oz filet, crab meat, bearnaise, asparagus). My date got the ribeye bone in 22oz. Both of the meats was so tender and cooked right. I enjoyed the bearnaise sauce it pairs with the meat well.

This is the perfect spot for a special occasion. The interior decor is warm and inviting with a touch of romance, if that's your outlook. The service was outstanding! The team works together to ensure you're enjoying yourself. The food is outstanding. From the flavors in the mocktail to the melt-in-your-mouth filet, everything was perfect! The dinner rolls are a hit as well! I got the strawberry mint mocktail, potato soup, a filet, and Brussel sprouts and I was not disappointed! My husband got the Caesar salad, ribeye and a shrimp - his only wish was that he'd ordered more than just one shrimp! We split the lobster mac and cheese - the lobster was cooked to perfection and paired well with the cheese chosen for the mac and cheese. We got a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. It was a pineapple sort of trifle topped with whipped cream and caramel - it was an absolute delight! We will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Everything about Earls Landing was totally classy and special! Our waiter Austin was fantastic. The food was really good. I had the scallops with carrots and mashed cauliflower. My husband had the ribeye and my daughter had the beef filet plate. We also indulged in the Chocolate cake for dessert. Again everything was fabulous!!! Check them out!

We were very pleased with our romantic dinner last night at Earl's Landing. It was our first time visiting, and the service from the friendly hostess to our very considerate waiter was superb! The lobster mac & cheese and the pork chop was our favorites, but the corn brulee and caprese salad were also notably wonderful. We arrived at a very busy time for them and the kitchen was backed up, but they were gracious and apologetic. If you're looking for a great spot for a date night, put this place in your list!

Tried Earl's Landing for Valentine's Day and had the best experience! Even though it was very busy for the holiday, everything still felt incredibly personable and well thought out. We started with a deliciously creamy espresso martini, then ordered the lobster nachos as an appetizer. We weren't sure what to expect, but they were AMAZING. Served over crispy potato wedges, all of the toppings complemented each other perfectly. We shared a Caesar salad, and they kindly split it onto two plates for us. We each ordered a filet and agreed they were some of the best we've had in a long time - perfectly crisp on the outside and super juicy in the middle. The sides were generous enough to share and just as delicious. We finished with one of our favorites, peanut butter pie, and it was another win. It was one of the lightest PB pies I've ever had. Even though we were stuffed, they surprised us with complimentary chocolate-covered strawberries. Now, the service - 100/10. Everyone was attentive and welcoming. Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and offered great recommendations. The chef even came around to check on tables. To top it off, they took Polaroid photos of guests for Valentine's Day and sent us home with one - such a thoughtful touch. The vibes were great: modern with subtle industrial elements like exposed pipes, but still very classy. There's a beautiful bar area with a wine wall near the entrance. It would be a great spot to grab drinks, too. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back!

I have been hearing about this place in downtown High Point and finally made it for date night. Of course I made a reservation. The decor of this restaurant is beautiful and is definitely the definition of fine dining. The service was impeccable. We started with drinks. They have a good wine menu selection from different areas of the world. I like seeing more than just California wines on the menu. So extra points there. My husband had a Sazerac, which was very well-balanced. We started with the tuna crudo. I was surprised at how fresh this dish tasted. It did not have a strong fish flavor and was full of the perfect amount of sweet and spice. Needless to say this got devoured quickly. I do like that. They bring bread as an appetizer however by giving you only one piece at a time. I believe this creates less waste, which is commendable. The entrées were very well seasoned. I got the filet and lobster. The filet was very well charred, however, slightly overcooked. I'm not one to waste food, but I did mention it to the waitress. She offered to have them prepare another one which I declined. What I really loved was the side sauce which was a bourbon peppercorn cream. It paired well with the filet. The lobster was cooked perfectly in butter and very tasty. Asparagus was slightly oversalted. My husband got the duck confit which he really liked. He did think there were more mushrooms than gnocchi in the bowl which took away from the dish. However, the sauce was absolutely delectable. We did get free dessert on behalf of my overcooked steak. The cheesecake was flawless and what was very impressive was they used luxardo cherries as the topping. Overall, this place is a great addition to downtown High Point. We will definitely be back.

We arrived just a little early for our reservation, but were seated promptly. As you might expect, our server was very nice and pretty attentive. We were dressed nicely and I was a bit surprised at how casual this place is. There were people in shorts and a t-shirt having dinner. We ordered crabcakes and shrimp cocktail for appetizers. It took a little longer than you might expect for them to arrive at the table. My wife especially enjoyed the crabcakes. I ordered a ten ounce filet plain and the wife got the scallops. This is when we noticed that the kitchen was having issues. It took a very long time for the entrees to come out. My filet was cooked to a wonderful medium rare. But even though I had ordered it plain, it was a bit over seasoned and was too salty. Carrots came with the scallops. I'm not sure if this is a garnish or a side dish, but they were way undercooked and not really edible. There was nothing special about the whipped potatoes, but the Brussel sprouts were amazing and really stole the show. They didn't look like much. At first I thought they were burnt. But they had this wonderful char to them and a wonderful seasoning that I couldn't identify. We got a complimentary dessert of brownie and ice cream because it was my birthday along with a couple of macarons. It was good, but I do not see us returning. (see pics)

We had a fantastic Mother's Day meal here. The environment is classy, but uses the exposed beams and building materials of the old building. Service was excellent. The food was great! We split a smash burger, local fried mushroom, and and the lobster nachos. Everything was really good! For me the big standout were the fries. I loved the size, texture and seasoning

Girls night!! @earls_landing !! My first time here- and it was a perfect pick to celebrate remission with my friends. Everything was on point. The service was top notch. Yvonne was our server for the night and she took great care of us!! My Mocktail was perfect - beautiful and delicious. We ordered a little bit of everything. Charcuterie was lovely! Look at those carrots!! My bone in ribeye perfectly cooked. Those scallops!!!! That Trifle!! I cannot wait to bring my husband back for date night.

We visited Earl's Landing on April 30th. We enjoyed the Lavender Lash And the 704 Collins pre dinner. Beef Tartar with fresh truffle chips was our appetizer. Our entrees were Georges Bank Scallops and the Duck Confit. Food and drink were on point! Chris our waiter provided good recommendations, quality service, and was professional and attentive. The wine cellar just off the bar is a cool motif for sure, but the wine selections were top notch. Have to plan to try a bottle on a future visit. We will definitely be coming back next time we're in town!

Ambiance is top notch and perfect for a date night or any special occasion. They have a private room suited for group dinners as well. We sat in a comfortable, cozy booth and received excellent service from our knowledgeable and gracious waiter. The crab stuffed shrimp appetizer, the lobster Mac and cheese and the Dulce du Leche cake were phenomenal and I can highly recommend them. Unfortunately, our entrees didn't quite meet the same high standards. The Crispy Duck confit wasn't crispy and tasted old. The salmon was okay but wasn't flavorful or unique. We'd definitely return to give it another try due to the ambiance, service and menu items that did meet our expectations.

It closed in early February for what were supposed to be renovations, only to reopen months later with a new name and a new concept, trading slightly upscale Southern for more upscale Italian. In some regards, this makes sense - it fills a void created by the closure of Lulu and Blu - but in other ways, it's a massive gamble. My wife and I went for our anniversary dinner, and while it was an overall pleasant experience, it also made us miss Magnolia. The higher price point is the chief culprit. Otto and Blue offers pastas in the $20s and entrees starting in the $30s, bread and olive oil not included. While we were celebrating an occasion that merited such a splurge, it's hard to imagine the restaurant remaining competitive at those prices once the sheen of newness wears off. Look past that, however, and Otto and Blue shines in both ambiance and service. It's classy without being stuffy, and the dark turquoise tones suit it well. Allison, a Magnolia Blue mainstay, was personable and attentive and provided excellent service throughout the meal. Otto and Blue's menu offers apps, salads, pastas, and entrees. It's predominantly Italian albeit with a few options for the steak-and-potatoes crowd. The dishes range from recognizably classic (rigatoni Bolognese) to conspicuously elevated (halibut piccatta). After mulling over several offerings, we went with the bread service, tagliatelle, and duck cacciatore. The food ranged from fairly good to outstanding. While $9 for bread is a tough pill to swallow, they executed it as well as they possibly could have: a hot, fresh ciabatta with tasty herb butter, olive relish, and a quality olive oil-balsamic combo as accompaniments. The cacciatore boasted a pair of duck legs confit, and while I'm usually no fan of dark meat poultry, these were prepared well with crispy skin and plenty of meat. For a typically hearty dish, the sauce seemed light (and a bit subdued), but that could be a consequence of serving atop polenta (more absorbent) rather than pasta. Speaking of pastas and sauces, the tagliatelle hit a nice balance of creamy and zesty without swimming in its white wine lemon sauce. Surprisingly, the highlight of the meal ended up being the dessert that Otto and Blue kindly offered as an anniversary gift. A scoop of vanilla bean gelato came adorned with a Biscoff cookie, a drizzle of olive oil, and a dash of salt. If salt and especially olive oil on ice cream seem vaguely blasphemous, don't knock it until you try it. Each bite was thoroughly delicious. It's a given that good food doesn't come cheap, but even so, Otto and Blue has no margin for error to justify what it charges. On food alone, it was close but not quite there. However, the overall experience made it worthwhile, and I have no regrets about dining here.

I like visiting on Friday nights for after date drinks. The atmosphere is great too. It is in downtown Greensboro, so be prepared for parking as it is not nearby.
