I love coming here because I feel so welcomed and after a while it begins to feel like Cheers where everyone knows your name. I particularly love Southerlands because it's conveniently located close to Stock and Grain Food Hall in High Point. It's literally a 2 min drive. This spot has all the vibes, wonderful music, friendly staff and occasionally a food truck. Even though I don't always smoke a cigar, I appreciate that when you walk inside, you don't instantly smell it so strongly. I've been to other cigar lounges and the cigar smoke can be a lot. Y'all know I absolutely love a good cocktail. The bartenders are wonderful and the drink selections are plenty. Even if you don't see something on the menu you would like, they can make you anything. I appreciate how accommodating they are as well. Whether I come during the week (they started $5 drink specials on Wednesdays) I can pull up and have a drink and bring my laptop or come on a Friday for Ladies Night and have a DJ spin and I'm on the dance floor. Whatever you are feeling, they have it. You also never know who you're going to meet. I think it's also a great place for networking. They do have options if you'd like to do a private event or celebrate something special. There is plenty of space and a very large parking lot. I'll have to update you all on the cigars when I go next time. They've been in business about 3 years and I want it to stay around. Please support this local establishment. You will not be disappointed. I hope when you come that you make a friend or two because I definitely have. Be sure to follow on IG at Southerlandscigarlounge for updates and specials during the week.

Loved they had a great spot outside for seating too looking right over Bailey park so a great people watching place! Nice cocktail menu and with beer and wine too. I was impressed they had crème de cassis. They have a summer special where all spritz's are $12 so we decided to try the new summer one everyone is talking about, Hugo spritz. Elderflower liquor, mint, soda water and prosecco. It was nice and refreshing on a extremely hot day and I had then add lime juice as well. Spritz's are the way to go in the summer as you get more liquid !!! Service was good but I wish the place had more atmosphere. Even with World Cup going in there wasn't many people. I really like the place though and what they are trying to achieve. Nice place for pre dinner drinks.

We would stop in again for drink when in that area, but nothing to make a special trip for in my opinion unless you are looking for a true whisky bar.
