This is such a unique place. It is a little "hole in the wall" with barely enough room for a dozen people. The owner/ bartender is a wizard, making new unique cocktails every week. Don't see what you like on the menu? Tell him what flavors you like and your bespoke cocktail will appear before your eyes. You can tell he loves what he does.

What a gem for GSO! Bartender Mike is a superb craft cocktail mixologist! He knows his liquors and how to blend in the right flavors for a robust cocktail consuming experience! This place has a nostalgic ambience and speakeasy vibe, great for a date night! Cannot recommend the Bread and Butter highly enough! Wow...

We had such a good time, the playlist was really good and the cocktails, each one was better than the next. Wish it was closer to be able to visit them often. The service was so friendly, you feel welcome since you open the door, pretty cool place.

I have to join the ranks and hands down this wonderful cocktail cove gets a high rating. The very best classic and innovative cocktails. The attention to detail is most impressive and the owner bartender is very dedicated to his craft. We had several different cocktails and they all were excellent. I appreciate this local business. It's small but has outside areas and it's a real feel good kinda place.

Okay seriously some of the best cocktails I've had in Greensboro. And I'm from here!! Stumbled across this spot after waiting to meet friends for dinner downtown. At first I wasn't so sure what to expect based off the initial outside vibes. Thought it might be sketchy or cater to a specific crowd. I'm so glad I ventured in! The atmosphere is cute and quaint. I was surprised to see there were two outside areas. They each have Bluetooth that you can connect to! I went early in the evening so it wasn't packed yet. The bartender was a nice guy and I could tell he actually enjoyed making drinks. At least that's how good he faked it! I tried several drinks and I think my favorite was the Mexican Firing Squad. The spicy margarita was delicious also. My friend met me there and she had two of the Murderinos. I suggest anyone in the area stop by and have a drink!

Hands down my favorite bar in the area! I absolutely love coming here. It' is small but it's such a cozy place with the best cocktails. Their version of an espresso martini is my favorite because it's not too sweet and has a good coffee flavor. The owner is almost always the one there making drinks and he's great. It really feels like you're just hanging out at a cute neighborhood bar where everyone knows each other! They have the BEST pickle backs because the pickle juice is homemade spicy pickle juice. I love the assortment of cocktails on the menu and he's always happy to make you something else if it's not on the menu. It's also extremely clean every time I've been. The prices are very comparable to other bars in the area and usually cheaper than a lot, especially for a craft cocktail. If you go before 9, they have the door open to the space beside it which is a nice place to hang out! They have a small outside area too. I will never stop recommending this place.

Oh my goodness I love this cute little bar! It is quite small, but there is an outdoor area which is so cozy and fun. There's also another little side area that guests can go to. The whole place is adorable, and the drinks are divine. It's very cozy and feels like home. The Bread and Butter cocktail was one of the best cocktails I've ever had, super pickly and unique. I ordered a Spicy Pickleback shot at the same time and realized that adding one of those spicy pickles to the B&B would have been perfection, and it was! I also had the Mezcalita - nice and smokey. The prices are super competitive especially compared to other bars in the area. Mike was a great bartender and handled the crowd wave with ease. He also lent his phone charger to a guest, which I thought was so kind. I will definitely be back here again and again!

Now cocktail cove is very small and you don't know unless you know. It's not something that you can see from the corner of the street with big lights, but if you know where you're going it's a really good area to be in. It's very small but I guess you could call it intimate. It's more of a speakeasy kind of eye. If you read my reviews you know that this is definitely my kind of thing. They have an inside and an outside area, the bar area has seats in it and then it has a couple of sitting areas there. Literally a couple. And then they have outside seating which is still covered. They have seats and cushions so you can be comfortable. The bartender was super cool, gave us a little history lesson and everything. I really had no complaints about that, he was spot-on. I ordered a Mai Tai, and it was actually pretty good. I really have no complaints about that, the drink is really savory. This type of spot isn't the kind of spot that you would probably solely go to as far as your nightly and text, but if it was a stop on your list, this will be a good place to stop at. Or if you were just going for date night, this would be a great place to go because it's so intimate and quiet.

Three spots in one. A cocktail bar, an open concept lounge and a dance hall. The cocktail drinks are superb and priced very well. Bartender Mike is super knowledgeable. Here's a tip: Tell him your likes and flavor profile and he'll surprise you. Definitely ask for the Bread and Butter. There's street parking available and very centrally located. Come for the drinks and stay for the DJ.

Anthony is my fav bartender but everyone does an amazing job. I love the on the menu jalapeno strawberry margarita, but like this night pictured if I want something else he will make it for me ! And he's never made me a bad drink ! (This wasn't my first rodeo here ). On to the food. This wasn't my first time having the collard sausage dip and I could eat it with my hands it was so delicious freshly made and creamy ! This is hands down the best dip I've ever had and to top it off the fried pita !! My only complaint is there aren't enough pitas to dip ratio but I will order more next time. And I found the dip greatly paired with the catfish. ( no judgement) The catfish is something I've had before but I didn't have the pleasure of the waffles the last time and let me tell you ! This is a work of art. I want to personally meet whoever made this idea of layered fish , greens and waffles but it was heavenly. And I wanted to eat it all but my stomach just wouldn't allow it. I did however heat the leftover the following morning for breakfast and they were still perfect. Last but not least the Mac and cheese was creamy, noodles were perfectly cooked and it was seasoned to a T. I'm picky on Mac and cheese being my favorite food and they do it justice. See you all next weekend!

The dip is always so delicious - it's one of my favorite appetizers ever. The pita is really good too. I think they recently started adding cheese to it too which is good but not really necessary in my opinion. At first, they brought us pita that was really burnt but our waiter told us she requested a fresh batch without us even saying anything which I think is great service. I also tried their garlic parm boneless wings & they were so good. I loved how seasoned & salty they were, although they might be too salty for some people. I really loved it though! Their cocktail menu is also really interesting & creative. It's mostly whiskey of course but they do have other spirits. I tried the peanut butter & jelly Old fashioned and it was surprisingly delicious. It really did taste like a PB&J so I highly recommend. The inside is small but there's a nice outdoor seating area too. This really is one of my favorite places to get food in the area BUT the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because anytime I've been there remotely close to closing, they definitely let you know & make you feel rushed. I'm not one to go to restaurants last minute when they're closing because I know how that can make it difficult for employees, but being somewhere 45 minutes before they close shouldn't warrant getting rushed. I've been there before just to have a few cocktails at the bar about 45 min before closing & had the same experience. I still really love this place & will keep going (but probably not within an hour or so of closing lol)

There are no TVs, no loud chaos, it's intentionally designed for conversation. And we really leaned into that... we sat there for hours just talking, and it never felt rushed or transactional. What makes this place stand out is how thoughtful everything is. They have over 60 different bitters, and the drinks are completely handcrafted and customizable. Ours were made by Jacob, and you can tell there's real skill and care behind what they're doing. not just pouring drinks, but creating something tailored to you. But honestly, the highlight for me wasn't even the drinks, although I admit, the drinks were absolutely incredible, but it was the people! I will tell you that I've tried old fashioned several times and never ever liked them. This was the first time in my entire life I've ever actually enjoyed an old fashioned, and ordered another one, on purpose! Get the pawpaws Pepsi. 10/10 We got to meet the owner, Jocelyn, and her partner Brian, and that completely changed the experience. Jocelyn is a real survivor. She's been through things that could've & should have, easily shut this place down or broken her, but instead, she built something meaningful out of it. She's a survivor in every sense of the word. You can feel that resilience in the space. it's not just a business, it's personal. Brian has been a strong, steady support system behind the scenes. Learning more about their story made everything feel more intentional and real, not just another trendy concept. Another thing people don't realize, this place is also a retail spot for home bartenders, with locally sourced mixers, syrups, and unique ingredients you won't find everywhere. It's part lounge, part community space, part educational experience. It's also dog-friendly, cozy, and set up in a way that actually makes you want to stay awhile and connect, whether that's with the people you came with or the people you meet there. Bitters isn't for people looking for a loud, quick night out. It's for people who appreciate good conversation, intentional drinks, and a deeper story behind where they're spending their time. And once you understand that... it hits different.

The third and fourth levels both offer outdoor space, with the third floor having its own bar and the fourth providing additional seating and city views. It's a great mix of spaces for pretty much anyone. The music really stole the show this evening. I arrived early and snapped a few photos before the crowd rolled in. Dear Sister rocked tonight. What an excellent cover band! I'll be seeing them often whenever they roll into town. The only thing holding this from being a 5 star night was the service. It was decent but noticeably slow even before the crowd showed up. Once things got busy, it became very hard to grab a drink or get anyone's attention, which is typical for a packed place but still worth noting. Overall, this is a super fun spot with great music and tons of indoor and outdoor space to enjoy. I'll definitely be back for more live shows or to hang out with family and friends on a nice day up on the rooftop areas.

I had the "Spicy Influencer," and while I wasn't a fan of the color, the taste was well-balanced with just a mild jalapeño kick. For food: * The lamb chops were a hit--perfectly cooked and full of flavor. * The beef ribs were a great portion and very well seasoned. * The appetizers (empanada and calamari) were also enjoyable. * I ordered the bandeja paisa, and it was easily the standout dish. The portion was generous, and everything on the plate--from the chicharrón to the steak--was flavorful and satisfying.
