I would give Bitters Social House 10 stars if I could! This place is truly special, and the staff is incredible. They have the most amazing handcrafted drinks that are carefully curated by the entire team and you can really tell the extra love and attention that goes into making this place feel warm and inviting. I also love that they feature local artists in their space, as well as locally sourced ingredients as much as possible. I was lucky enough to spend some quality time with the owner Jocelyn and hearing her story about how Bitters came to be, made this place feel that much more special. These were some of the best drinks I've ever had. Hands down. Definitely check them out - it's a 2 story venue with indoor and outdoor seating and lots of cozy little corners to sit and explore their menu (which has a great selection of specialty drinks as well as some seasonal items). Highly recommend the Paw Paw's Pepsi!! Huge shoutout to Jocelyn, Brian and Jacob for making my visit so special!!

Bitters is neat place to grab a drink or hang out with friends. They have a neat selection of drinks and places to hang out. Great place to play games or check out the local art work. They also host special events throughout the year. Definitely a great place to check out while in the area!

I love the vibe of Bitters Social House. You walk in & it literally feels like you're visiting a friend's home. The staff are super outgoing and very helpful when it comes to recommendations! The hand-crafted beverages are delicious! Their atmosphere is quaint and relaxing, and they have 2 outdoor patio sections. Plus you could just stop in to shop & grab goodies for a bitters or cocktail lover...even enough to curate a gift basket! They have something for everyone and truly want you to feel welcome while there.

Smoked old fashioned on one of the best little patios in town

The epitome of a hidden gem in the Greensboro area. Seriously, without a doubt, and hands down one of the funnest vibes you can have when you want to enjoy a fun afternoon in the sun on an amazing patio, a quaint evening inside this beautiful home turned into a lounge, enjoy eclectic drinks with your significant other or friends, or just about any time you want a fun day or evening out. Don't miss this one. This is a newer addition to the State Street vibe, located next to Mizumi Sushi. (Pro tip and side note, if there's an hour plus wait at Mizumi, put your name in and come here and experience this venue for a few drinks while you wait. You'll be back next time just for this.) We walked up to the gorgeous exterior on a sunny Saturday afternoon in March. Our eyes ate first and took in the amazing exterior and patio with a flourishing garden. Pics speak for themselves. First impressions were second to none. The drinks, service and ambiance followed it to a tee... We were greeted warmly by Daniel, the bartender manning the eclectic bar. Funny, personable and knowledgeable, all qualities if a great bartender. If you can, make sure to enjoy his humor and knowledge when you're there. The drinks speak for themselves. "Oh Snap!" for me and a personal concoction for my wife came first. My wife wasn't sure what she wanted, but told Daniel she was thirsty for something light and fun that she could enjoy on their beautiful patio in the sun. Sure enough, Daniel made a personal cocktail perfectly fitting for her that she could enjoy on this sunny afternoon day. Again, the experience here was on a whole different level...thank you. Following up, I had a smoked old fashioned, after which you could smell the pleasant aromas of the smoke used for this cocktail. Many senses got to enjoy it here to the fullest...sight, smell and taste. Something special happened next, which you can't have at 99.9% of cocktail lounges across the whole US. Daniel pulled out a bottle of 23 year old Pappy van Winkle, of which I got to taste a 1oz pour. Any bourbon aficionado out there will know what I'm talking about. And if you want some of this delectable bottle, be sure to drop by soon. Again, thank you for an amazing experience, we will definitely be back. Be sure not to miss this truly amazing hidden gem in Greensboro.

Cute spot for a drink! Love the rooms and seating upstairs too. Also love that they support local art.

We visited this new bar/shop during a rainy Sunday afternoon and will absolutely be back. They have a wide selection of bar supplies including bitters and similar items that are often hard to find - many of which can be a great start to inventing your own drinks. They also have a bar and a lot of unique, comfortable seating which is great for a drink with friends. The vibe is comfortable and not loud so it can be a nice place for a relaxing drink. They have great drinks and a nice selection of on-tap beers (and at least one cider).

Cocktail Cove has become one of my favorite regular spots in downtown Greensboro. It's definitely a…read moresmall space, but that's part of the charm, cozy, intimate, and the kind of place where you can actually relax and enjoy a great cocktail. I like visiting on Friday nights for after date drinks. The atmosphere is great too. There are candles always burning, which gives the whole bar a warm, laid-back glow, and the flamingos add a fun, slightly quirky touch that makes the place feel memorable and unique. The cocktails are consistently excellent. You can tell the bartender really cares about what they're making and you can ask for modification and they will give them to you. Everything is balanced, creative, and thoughtfully put together. Whether you order something from the menu or ask for a classic, it's always spot on. The prices are great for the quality, usually $15-$20 for a cocktail, which feels completely fair for craft drinks like these. One of my favorite details is the playlist. It's always so good -- a mix of current hits and those deep cuts you forgot you loved, and it somehow always fits the vibe perfectly. It is in downtown Greensboro, so be prepared for parking as it is not nearby. Great drinks, great music, candles glowing, and it's the kind of place that makes you want to stay for just one more round. I'll visit again soon.

Do yourself a favor and step in here, saddle up to the bar, and order a couple rounds.

Such a gem! Curious drinkers, dinner party guests, and wine aficionados can all find something for…read moretheir palate here - across all price ranges. I visited Zeto close to their closing time and was immediately greeted by Sue, welcoming me in to the shop. After sharing I hoped to just browse around and then told her what I planned to have for dinner, I was given a tour of the store while also highlighting a few bottles that would pair well. Sue also shared a really cool story about the bottle of sparkling wine that I ended up purchasing, not only because I was excited to savor it but also because knowing a bit about its history made it that much more alluring. And it paired perfectly with my fried chicken! If you're really into wine, plan to drop by when you have time to explore - and get lost in their curated selection. If you're dropping by to grab a bottle for dinner or a party, ask Sue for a recommendation - she knows her stuff! Though I'm sure everyone there does :) I also grabbed a bag of the truffle chips they had in stock, which were also delish! They also carry this chip brand in an Iberico ham flavor, which I'll have to try next time. I'll follow-up with more on their specialty foods after I've tried a few more...

I've purchased several wonderful wines from Zetos in the past. But after the interaction I had with…read morethe owner last night, I will NEVER purchase from this business again. Myself and 2 colleagues were on our way to an evening event at a hotel in downtown Greensboro. I was not familiar with the location of the hotel and took a wrong turn down a dead end street so I pulled into the Zeto parking lot to turn around , confirm the hotel address and reset my GPS. It was closing time for Zeto so the owner was locking up the door at the same time. She sees me pull in and starts gesturing wildly to get out of her parking lot, then (before I can even put my car into drive) she jumps in her car and drives straight at my car while flashing her lights and boxing me in. I had to back up and drive around her car (which I immediately did) while she continued to wave her hands and point at the exit. Completely rude and uncalled for as we'd literally been in the parking lot for less than 2 minutes as I reset the GPS address and had no intention of parking there. I do understand that her parking lot is surrounded by apartments and she may have had a problem with people parking there in the past but this was very bizarre behavior for a business owner that should care about the community and act professionally. The unfortunate part is all 3 of us in the car were regular, frequent customers and enjoyed her store. After her over-the-top rudeness, we all agreed we'd never step foot in Zeto again. She lost 3 customers due to her behavior! We won't support businesses that treat others so poorly. I hope she will, in the future, take a breath and assess the situation before acting so inappropriately toward people.

Zeto - Haven't tried yet, but got it because 1) I've never had wine from Switzerland 2) it's said to be a favorite amongst regulars.
