Double hazy IPA, Sauvignon Blanc, friendly wave from my wife
Tom R.

First time here and loved everything about it. My wife and I stopped in for a relaxing afternoon and were greeted by friendly staff. She knew we were first timers and made us feel welcome. She even remembered our names even though the place was almost full. The beer and wine selection was second to none. They had 20+ craft brews on tap the day we came, and in addition, a huge assortment of canned beers from craft and micro-breweries found around the state and beyond. The place was modern and eclectic with a relaxed atmosphere. Great space both indoors and out. Kids and pets are welcome. The people we met were also very friendly and welcoming. They also have weekly events ranging from live music and trivia, to a run club and everything in between. We will definitely be back! Drinks: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5

Nice brew in a casual modern setting. I enjoyed my visit to Village Beverage co. Even though the space was smaller than expected, they had a large selection of beers, wines, seltzers, etc. I opted to share a flight and generally liked everything I tried. The tangie dream was simple and light and definitely my favorite. The key lime gose was very aggressively acidic. I'd recommend asking your for a little simple light beer added in to that one to make it more drinkable. I noticed that they had a wide variety of options for a take-home sale. Also, they had a nice menu of non-alcoholic beverages. Also, the bartender was friendly and made an effort to connect with us. While we were there, some local radio personalities were enjoying brews. Seeing how they do a morning show and have to get up extremely early, seeing them enjoying the place at 9pm is a glowing endorsement! Other notable things is that they do have some sturdy chairs for some of their high top tables, which makes sitting at them very comfy. They also have a couple of unisex single-stall restrooms. Overall, I'd check this place out again!

I recently stopped in with friends after having dinner with friends. This place is so cute and man what a selection of craft beer. I got a flight to try a selection and was not disappointed. My favorite was from a brewery in NY. It was a blueberry lemonade cider and it was devine!!!!!! Super cute place and the bartender working was absolutely wonderful.

This place has a variety of local beers and wines. There is something for everyone. They sell snacks if you get hungry. There is an Italian and Mexican restaurant across the parking lot also. I love the vibe. The outdoor seating and lighting is very charming. Bar staff is always kind and offers samples to help you decide on a beverage. They sell some prepackaged beers and merchandise also. I had to buy a shirt which resembles the Grateful Dead. It's super cute. Highly recommend this place to come hang with friends or even to have a chill evening. They have live bands also which I enjoy!

Great atmosphere. The bartender was super nice and great attitude. We just happened to stop here after dinner and there was live music outside. Lots of inside and outside seating. Very good vibe, super laid back. They have lots of beer choices and also wine. Great place to hang out and enjoy a few beverages.

Y'all wanna know what's the best after a loooong, hard Tuesday? A nice, big tap room pour (our two or three or whose really counting?). The other best part? This gem is TWELVE minutes from our house in Reidsville, located in Summerfield! No idea how we've been sleeping on this neat little place but we are now wide awake and ready for our next trip! They have rotating beer and wine on tap as well as an array of craft beer/wine you can take home. And ANOTHER best part (yes, there are many bests here), if you mix and match a 4 pack, you get 15% off!! Not only can you enjoy a drink inside or outside, they also host live music and trivia night! **if anyone wants to go with us next Wednesday for some trivia let us know ** Cheers!!

We've had an amazing time on all occasions. The space is very comfortable inside with a huge bar top and cozy seating throughout. We attempted to sit on the patio, but the mosquitos had plans that we did NOT sign up for! So we went back inside to sit at the bar. I wish there was different barstools. Those were just too shallow and not very comfortable or supportive. Thank goodness they weren't too busy when we were there because there was only one seserver. He was super nice and attentive as he could be seeing as how he was running in and out to serve the interior and exterior guests and also making the drinks! Some drinks are specialty so they take time to actually make. I hope they covert their pass-through window into a door into improve efficiency. I ordered the mojit flight and my two friends orordered the Tequila, and Marguerita flights. General consensus was that the drinks were good , but a bit too sweet. I wish mine was served with mint leaves like the menu pictures, but I didn't ask for them or why they weren't included. Overall, I'd go back with my girlies and try something different.

So parking is very limited but worth the trouble to stop in for a nice variety of wines in a busy, cozy, unique tavern. They have friendly staff that serve at and around the bar and tables in a effortless manner that amazes me when the place is hopping. I did not have to wait long to place my request or receive same. I inquired about the wine tasting for $5.00 and was told you would receive 2 tastings of white wine. Perhaps they do reds on a different night but I didn't ask. There is a written wine list of reds and whites to order full glasses of whites or reds which should suffice. I asked folks what they were drinking and there were many red wine-o's ha ha. The Bordeaux drinkers were happy with their choice and the Malbec drinkers were satisfied with their choice and commented the wine was soft. I chose a cold Chenin Blanc mostly cuz I haven't seen it on a menu in the Triad for quite some time. It was quite good great nose of sweetness but dry enough to be a good all round table wine. Its similar to Pinot Gregio but not dry or tart. I think when I'm back in GSO I will stop in to this unique wine bar again as it was a nice experience and everyone seemed very chill and friendly.

The menu reflects this with cocktails, wine and beer and the menu is extensive on the beverages! The food menu is terrific and has so much variety and some really nice plates small and large. It was a theater night when we went and we had a 7.30 show to goto and our server knew that. We got there at 5.30 so figured that gave us the 10 mins to walk to the theater to be on time. We started off with some drinks. My friend loved her cherry ale and I really enjoyed my G&T , the glass it came in was just so unusual. The G&T took awhile to finally make it to me but i loved it. We ordered the tuna tartare and that was delicious and served up with fried green tomatoes which was a different take on it. Nice and fresh and nicely presented. Our entrees were the salmon for my friend and I had the Bahn mi chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Usually this sandwich is with pork so I wanted to try this. The service for our dinner took almost 45 mins we had finished the app awhile back and my grind had another drink and still we were waiting. It was closing in on 6.50 Pm and at this point we would be inhaling our food when it came and rushing out the door . It came at 7pm and the sandwich was good but they should mention on the menu that it has mayonnaise on it as I don't like that but there was quite a bit on the bun. Not typically in this type of sandwich so I wasn't expecting it. The chicken was a good and flavorful and lots of other veggie fillings and the fries were great. My friend really enjoyed her salmon and the risotto it came with. Just disappointed we had to eat it all so quickly and leave some so we could pay and leave. We had our eye on the lemon posset tart for dessert but we didn't have time . We just thought since the server knew we had theater tickets she would have been more on top of it. Yes they were busy as it was a show night but the place wasn't totally full. Seemed like no urgency when we asked how long the food would be as we had to leave soon. I'd maybe try this place again on a non show night, as I thought they had a great menu. I enjoyed the place just not the service as we barely made the show before the lights went down.

Lewis and Elm delivers a 5 star experience on so many levels. Many people I've spoken with think it's just a wine bar. Oh no, it goes well beyond your typical wine bar. First off, they have a full bar with a huge specialty cocktail list, craft beers, non alcoholic options and even THC drinks. We had amazing wine off of their impressive list, plus a few cocktails that were mixed extremely well. The food: amazing to say the least. Charcuteries, meats, cheeses, apps, finger foods, and a few uniques you have to get (one in particular). We enjoyed a beautifully plated charcuterie (see pic), the caprese bruschetta, a goat cheese pesto bruschetta, and that one in particular: the medjool dates. Everything was delicious, but these dates were on another level. The dates were surrounded by a bed of creamy Brie cheese melted perfectly, topped with crispy prosciutto and sprinkled with a balsamic reduction. All of this is easily mopped up with the fresh focaccia the dish comes with. This dish rocked! It was perfect on its own, but paired amazingly well with both the chilled white wine and the cocktails we were enjoying. The vibe is amazing as well. Upscale but super comfy interior. Come casual or dressed to impress, it all works here. Live music on the weekends add to the atmosphere and the whole experience. Come for the whole evening, or pre-dinner/pre-show drinks and bites, or even for a night cap after a dinner or show. Come for a quick pit stop, or stay for the live music. It's an all around excellent experience with great drinks, food, service and vibe.
