Finally made it to this cute spot with 2 of my girlfriends! The ambiance to so photogenic and inviting. There's limited seating in the interior, but there's a large patio with extra seating. We attempted to sit on the patio, but the mosquitos had plans that we did NOT sign up for! So we went back inside to sit at the bar. I wish there was different barstools. Those were just too shallow and not very comfortable or supportive. Thank goodness they weren't too busy when we were there because there was only one seserver. He was super nice and attentive as he could be seeing as how he was running in and out to serve the interior and exterior guests and also making the drinks! Some drinks are specialty so they take time to actually make. I hope they covert their pass-through window into a door into improve efficiency. I ordered the mojit flight and my two friends orordered the Tequila, and Marguerita flights. General consensus was that the drinks were good , but a bit too sweet. I wish mine was served with mint leaves like the menu pictures, but I didn't ask for them or why they weren't included. Overall, I'd go back with my girlies and try something different. read more

The place was cute. We got there as they opened. We were the only ones there for quite a while. The waitress/server was super nice, but the place didn't really wow me. Maybe bc it was a Thursday, and it's more busy other days? There were fruit flies around our table that were kind of annoying as well. Flights were okay. Charcuterie board was alright as well. Not sure I'll be back. read more

Many drink specials available. Clean inside and out. It's a wine bar but they have liqour drinks as well. Definitely a date night spot but more towards a girls night out vibe. read more

This bright & warm wine spot is one of my local favorites! Not only is it Instagram-worthy with its colorful ambiance, floral decor, and photo-op telephone booth...but there is also an outdoor section with fire-pits! Everyone there is welcoming and cheerful. When you walk in there's a neon sign that reads "I'm at Peace Here" and that vibe rings true throughout your visit. You walk in for a drink and leave with a new friend...whether it be the owner, a staff member, or another patron - you're sure to chat the time away! Not to mention their occasional drink specials! I did not know this place existed but I'm glad I do now. This quaint place located off of Battleground Avenue is a hidden gem. It is a cozy wine bar with cute little sections to sit. It's absolutely perfect for a date night or gathering with friends. The customer service was great from the time we walked in. I had a hard time choosing a drink because Fall is my season and if I had enough time, I would have sat and had a couple drinks from that menu. The bartender did a good job helping to pair drinks with flavors and spirits that we like. I chose the apple spiced Moscow mule and it was great! I regrettably had somewhere else to be but did not leave before purchasing a bottle of blueberry wine they had on sale. I will definitely be back! read more

It's always a good time when I get to stop by Marjaes! A few weeks ago I convinced my husband to stop in for post dinner cocktails and now he's ready to come back too! The service is always SO friendly and helpful when we stop in. These ladies are such a pleasure to be around, truly. I opted for the s'mores martini add espresso (since my husband wouldn't let me get the full fall martini flight - boo) and it was absolutely stunning AND delicious. I almost ordered the martini flight after this drink and would have if my husband wouldn't have stopped me LOL. He got the tequila sunset and he loved his drink as well. These guys sure do know how to whip up a tasty cocktail. What I also love about Marjaes is that along with their friendly service and scrumptious drinks, they also hold events weekly and monthly so it's wise to look at their website and IG page for their calendar. If you're looking for pre or post dinner drinks on a girls night out or date night, Marjaes comes to the top of my list! read more

I went with my wife to get drinks and boy lemme tell you lmao the service was trash, we waited for 20 minutes and didn't even get our drinks while being there for 30. It was only one person running the whole place. It was filthy , took forever just to be seen, there's only ONE bathroom which is confusing it only says female. There's GNATS and I mean GNATS everywhere the whole time I was there I legit had to fight them off im not lying, I hope they do better because I REALLLLLLY won't be returning and I mean that ! read more

What a cute wine bar! Super fun and decorated adorably. We came in decked out in our Barbie gear before the movie on a Saturday as Marjae's was offering a happy hour of Barbie cocktails. It is really cute inside and the bartender was extremely friendly, despite being jam-packed. The back room was decorated for the movie and a perfect place to snap some photos. The cocktail list is extensive and there are a lot of fun, tasty options. Prices are on par with other cocktail bars. Instagram had advertised the cocktail "hour" 1-6, but when we arrived at 1:30 it was not yet open and didn't open until well after 2. Not a huge deal, but we had planned our afternoon around the movie so we were tight on time. It was so busy, too, that service was a bit slow but I won't hold this against them and will be back for sure. We had a great time! Thanks so much for the warm welcome and great drinks. read more

Marjae's is a wine & liquor bar you can 100% be comfortable going to by yourself or with a group of friends. They have a personable team that just oozes friendliness & fun! They've got indoor & outdoor seating available, along with parking spaces right up front. The drinks have improved tremendously. This location seems to be less popular than before but the bar has improved and it's so cute. I hope it lasts. I got a spicy paloma. It was $15. They have good music and a nice patio. There's a flower wall and phone booth for photo ops. Perfect for a date night or girls night. Service is great. read more

The bartender was amazing his name started with a "D". He made the place worth the visit. The $5 Marg this past Friday was pretty decent. Not sure if that is their special every Friday or not but worth the drive. It was pretty slow night but like I said the bartender made me and my girls feel very relaxed. ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY ADORED THIS PLACE. Where has it been my whole life? As soon as we walked it, we were greeted with a smile from Marjae herself. The place was SO cute and had chill music playing in the background. There was an outdoors, which I didn't explore due to heat exhaustion , and a back room that was super cute. My cousin and I stayed at the bar and had lovely conversations with Marjae as she told us about the business and we discussed an upcoming event! To drink, I got the mimosa flight that was on sale for $20 in honor of pride month! There was a sunrise mimosa that has watermelon rum in it, a blueberry mimosa with fresh blueberries, a raspberry mimosa, and a orange sherbet mimosa! Wow the creativity was really coming through. Each was delicious but the sherbet was the most unique and the showstopper for me. Between the delicious drinks and the excellent service, I have no doubt this place is bound for huge success. I had such a great time here for my birthday. The employees were so kind and friendly and this is such a chill spot with nice music. It's not big but it's not small either it's just right. Bre and Alice were absolutely amazing. There isn't a huge selection of wines it's more cocktails in my opinion but I enjoyed the sweet red and the mimosa flight was a nice way to try a few different flavors. I loved the telephone booth and used it for my birthday photos lol read more

I met a group of girlfriends out for drinks at Marjae's! I was thinking they mostly had wine, but was pleasantly surprised they had a ton of interesting cocktails! The bartenders were so friendly and did a great job explaining the different drinks and answering questions. I ended up choosing a watermelon cocktail. The workers were kind. The manager was also on the floor working. The manager did great with explaining the business and the other locations for dining/drinks to come/currently but under the same ownership. The Wine Bar is nicely decorated inside and they have card games you can utilize with your group of friends. Seating is tight indoors, if you're coming with a large party and seats are already taken indoors there was an outdoor area; however, I did not venture out there. Everyone in my party enjoyed their drinks. They varied from the strawberry lemonade, mimosas and tequila sunrise. Food is not served here but they support/suggest you to utilize the food trucks that are located outside. The music they had playing was perfect also. I enjoyed the throwbacks. Marjae's Wine Bar had my eye for the past year so I was happy I finally went to their establishment and I wasn't disappointed. The quaint and cute ambiance is so inviting and relaxing. The bathroom is clean! The wine and drink choices were amazing! Marjae's would get five stars from me, if they offered food. I love Marjae's! The vibe is always nice and it's black owned which is always a plus. The manager and owner are so friendly and welcoming. It's decorated very pretty for great pictures. My friends and I went here based off of a recommendation. First, I will say it is smaller than what I thought however it is a super cute place with a nice photo opp area. The drinks were really good and creative! They now have a liquor license so we were able to enjoy both wine and cocktails! They do have a very nice patio with fire pits which worked out great because it was 13 of us. The owners are a really nice married couple and they worked great together!! They also have music and a dance area outside. We were able to DoorDash some food and really enjoyed our time there! I would definitely go back. read more

Such a cute place!!! Great indoor spaces for pictures! Wonderful staff that will answer questions about wines and pairings! They have charcuterie boards, deserts and more! My bf and I went for the first time a few weeks ago and I can't believe it was my first time! The service was OUTSTANDING, as we had multiple people check on us. The outside patio area is such a nice space and the music was great. We had the margarita and mimosa flights and I definitely recommend both. A very nice cozy spot to try quality wines. You can bring your food or door dash it. There are outside firepits for a warming seating experience. I tried the sweet wine flight, Very tasty and they offer snacks ... we enjoyed smores at the wine bar. Then you can take fun pictures in the back. The inside is cozy and on the smaller side but so cute. We started with the buratta appetizer which came with focaccia and pesto which was all amazing. The pesto had a great garlic flavor and the bread was lightly toasted. For an entree, I had the Moroccan couscous with crispy chickpeas and even though the picture might look a little weird, I can assure you it was delicious. The chickpeas were really crispy as promised and the flavor was delicious. It was well seasoned and the sauces were so good. The green one was a mint parsley I think and the orange was my favorite - red pepper tahini. My only complaint would be that I want more of the sauce because it was so good. I really enjoyed & I appreciated that they had this vegan option. They have tons of wine & the cocktail menu is also great. The waiter was super friendly and quick. I ordered a cocktail with vodka instead of tequila which wasn't a problem at all. I tried a few of the cocktails and they were all really good and perfectly described on the menu. I really enjoyed everything here and can't wait to go back!

Food - the new Sous chef that joined 6-8 months ago has breathed new life into the menu and the execution has improved as wee. As of 4/17 - Pork belly vao buns were stellar. Great balance between the heat and the sweet. We'll be back again soon

I've loved everything from relaxing with a glass of wine to sharing a bottle with a friend or joining the weekly themed wine tastings. They also serve desserts from The Salted Phoenix, if you've ever seen them at the Corner Farmers Market, you know how good they are. The lineup of recent events has been excellent, with something new to look forward to every week. I recently went to one of their Tuesday themed trivia nights, and it was absolutely hilarious (and surprisingly competitive). The Twilight theme night had me laughing the whole time -- a little chaotic, a lot of fun, and some of the side conversations went way deep. I'm already eyeing future trivia nights, I'll be back when the theme lets me unleash my useless pop culture knowledge, maybe 2000s Broadway or Disney Channel movies? Last Saturday's house/jazz DJ set with Jon.Viz was amazing. The vibe was intimate, warm, and totally unique. To top it all off, they have a wine club that I'm planning to join in January 2026. The selection is thoughtful, affordable, and clearly curated by people who genuinely love what they do. Lewis & Elm has that rare mix of comfort, community, and creativity -- a perfect little escape right in the middle of Greensboro. P.S. the check comes in a small book where guests can leave notes. It's a lovely detail that makes each visit feel special. I definitely recommend writing one.

You have the opportunity to watch chefs cook--an open layout that provides the ambiance of an upscale restaurant--but it still feels casual enough for you to walk in on a weekday, feel invited and not one bit out of place, whether you are eating with friends or eating solo (which I was, along with some other patrons).

So parking is very limited but worth the trouble to stop in for a nice variety of wines in a busy, cozy, unique tavern. They have friendly staff that serve at and around the bar and tables in a effortless manner that amazes me when the place is hopping. I did not have to wait long to place my request or receive same. I inquired about the wine tasting for $5.00 and was told you would receive 2 tastings of white wine. Perhaps they do reds on a different night but I didn't ask. There is a written wine list of reds and whites to order full glasses of whites or reds which should suffice. I asked folks what they were drinking and there were many red wine-o's ha ha. The Bordeaux drinkers were happy with their choice and the Malbec drinkers were satisfied with their choice and commented the wine was soft. I chose a cold Chenin Blanc mostly cuz I haven't seen it on a menu in the Triad for quite some time. It was quite good great nose of sweetness but dry enough to be a good all round table wine. Its similar to Pinot Gregio but not dry or tart. I think when I'm back in GSO I will stop in to this unique wine bar again as it was a nice experience and everyone seemed very chill and friendly.

After sharing I hoped to just browse around and then told her what I planned to have for dinner, I was given a tour of the store while also highlighting a few bottles that would pair well. Sue also shared a really cool story about the bottle of sparkling wine that I ended up purchasing, not only because I was excited to savor it but also because knowing a bit about its history made it that much more alluring. And it paired perfectly with my fried chicken! If you're really into wine, plan to drop by when you have time to explore - and get lost in their curated selection. If you're dropping by to grab a bottle for dinner or a party, ask Sue for a recommendation - she knows her stuff! Though I'm sure everyone there does :) I also grabbed a bag of the truffle chips they had in stock, which were also delish! Myself and 2 colleagues were on our way to an evening event at a hotel in downtown Greensboro. I was not familiar with the location of the hotel and took a wrong turn down a dead end street so I pulled into the Zeto parking lot to turn around , confirm the hotel address and reset my GPS. It was closing time for Zeto so the owner was locking up the door at the same time. She sees me pull in and starts gesturing wildly to get out of her parking lot, then (before I can even put my car into drive) she jumps in her car and drives straight at my car while flashing her lights and boxing me in. I had to back up and drive around her car (which I immediately did) while she continued to wave her hands and point at the exit. Completely rude and uncalled for as we'd literally been in the parking lot for less than 2 minutes as I reset the GPS address and had no intention of parking there. I do understand that her parking lot is surrounded by apartments and she may have had a problem with people parking there in the past but this was very bizarre behavior for a business owner that should care about the community and act professionally. The unfortunate part is all 3 of us in the car were regular, frequent customers and enjoyed her store. After her over-the-top rudeness, we all agreed we'd never step foot in Zeto again. She lost 3 customers due to her behavior! We won't support businesses that treat others so poorly. I hope she will, in the future, take a breath and assess the situation before acting so inappropriately toward people.

Haven't tried yet, but got it because 1) I've never had wine from Switzerland 2) it's said to be a favorite amongst regulars.

There is usually music and a food truck if you check their events calendar. Even if they don't have things going on, it is still a great place to sit back and relax in an Adirondack overlooking the water. There is a cute tire swing and plenty of grass area for kiddos to run around and play. I always enjoy getting a flight so I can enjoy several of their wines. I actually like their muscadine wines surprisingly. They also have the most amazing strawberry cake that is made with their wine! I go every year for my birthday to get a slice. In the summer, it is also nice to get a win slushy as well. The owners are always very friendly and their dogs will likely greet you as well. No beverages may be brought to the property but bring yourself a little picnic of food to enjoy with your wine.
