So glad this place has reopened! We had a nice chilled Merlot Rose' on hot day. They are not fully opened yet. But very soon. they were nice enough to let us enjoy a bottle on a Saturday afternoon.

Zimmerman Vineyards is a gorgeous place tucked away off the beaten path. We stopped by here one fall Saturday afternoon, and it was already busy. You can tell they have their regular customers. People had brought their own chairs to listen to the live music. Others had brought a picnic and were enjoying it with their family. Everyone was outside because that's the type of day it was (and there's not a lot of room inside). We went inside and inquired about the wine tastings. We decided to do one in order to try some reds and whites. Some of the wines were good, but none of them really stood out as being amazing. We ordered a glass to share to sit outside and enjoy the music before we left. The tasting itself was expensive for how much you got. I honestly think the biggest draw to the place was the beautiful grounds. I could see weddings and gathering happening here all the time.

Scenic and relaxing, whether your wine tasting or just want to pop a bottle and unwind, Zimmerman Vineyards is a beautiful place to spend your afternoon! An hour and half from Charlotte it's in the High Point direction down I-85! There are several wineries in this area and Zimmerman's was the first place we stopped at. The staff were very friendly and explained how the vineyard got its start and how it was still a family business. Again, in addition to the wine, the grounds, the tasting room and the view are beautiful.

Loved the wines and loved the tasting room. The owner is a hoot and his wife super sweet. We had a blast and were able to get the better tasting. The wines are kind of on the expensive side or I woudl have bought more but will enjoy what we did take home. Three thumbs up

Amazing view from patio area! Worth the drive. At home feel. Time stands still as you sip on the good wine.

Unexpected gem among the North Carolina trees. Beautiful sanctuary. Friendly people. Feel at home. Worth the drive. Good white wines

This winery is definitely a long drive to get to it, but the location is beautiful with rolling hills, a cute cabin house for the tasting room, and lots of outside seating. Im more of a semi-sweet wine drinker and this winery is a bit dry for my taste, but it is still good! The owners are super friendly, very knowledgable and the story of their logo is great! They have cute pups that hang out around the winery and tasting room as well that are also friendly! Overall, it is worth the drive to check them out, especially if you're more of a dry wine fan. The jewelry they sell is also very cute. I bought their dreamcatcher earrings.

For the couples event, I experienced Gale who's really thoughtful. I absolutely adore her. For the birthday event we had Erin. Let's call Erin the multitasker for managing 7 wine tasting like a pro. I truly appreciate the great job and the attention to detail that these ladies offered during our Victory Wine Tasting Experience. Pro-Tip: Book reservations online.

After being greeted in the main building, we were directed to enjoy the scenic route or walk directly towards the back of the building to enjoy the live music. There's an open space behind the main building with a small stage to enjoy live music, or if you're more a bookworm like myself you can grab a chair near the small lake. I enjoyed lunch in the Bistro (it was an earlier lunch because they were closing earlier for a private event - it's a beautiful space so I can see why) - the lunch menu offered a variety of items of if you're just interested in dessert, then you can grab something from the front and enjoy the weather. This beautiful place could easily get crowded on a weekend so I'd recommend reservations, just to ensure that you have a table without the wait. I decided to go with a wrap with grilled chicken and it was seasoned just right and was complimented with the perfect amount of fries. But the highlight of my lunch (besides the wine, lol) was the sweet tea - as a southerner, it hit the spot. A private tour was scheduled for me and that's probably where I made up my mind that I'd be back to visit this place. The tour guide was personable and she knew her stuff. Not to mention, I was able to enjoy fresh grapes from the vineyard (yum!). I fell in love with a couple of their signature wines, so I grabbed a couple of bottles from the gift shop - it's also offers a great opportunity to grab a few gifts for family and friends. I'd recommend this place for an easy Saturday or Sunday as it's great way to relax and recharge - but if you're feeling inclined to stay there's a hotel available near the vineyards (walking distance). Go check them out!

There's limited seating in the interior, but there's a large patio with extra seating. We attempted to sit on the patio, but the mosquitos had plans that we did NOT sign up for! So we went back inside to sit at the bar. I wish there was different barstools. Those were just too shallow and not very comfortable or supportive. Thank goodness they weren't too busy when we were there because there was only one seserver. He was super nice and attentive as he could be seeing as how he was running in and out to serve the interior and exterior guests and also making the drinks! Some drinks are specialty so they take time to actually make. I hope they covert their pass-through window into a door into improve efficiency. I ordered the mojit flight and my two friends orordered the Tequila, and Marguerita flights. General consensus was that the drinks were good , but a bit too sweet. I wish mine was served with mint leaves like the menu pictures, but I didn't ask for them or why they weren't included. Overall, I'd go back with my girlies and try something different.
