A hug thank you to Mama Carolyn and her two sons Devin and Logan who assisted us with our food purchases, chocolates and wines. Also the attendant who I told I forget names...LOL) We really appreciated the help getting our purchases to the table downstairs where the back lawn is located. Everyone we came in contact with were welcoming and kind. There was also live music which was such a nice touch! The back lawn is beautiful and relaxing. I wish I lived closer so I could enjoy the beauty of the space weekly. Please visit the vineyard and enjoy a relaxing time with delicious food, all your favorite wines and live music! Also, don't forget to meet Mama Carolyn.... You will love her!!!!!

We came on a busy Saturday and the pourer said this was how it was when it was a race day down in Charlotte. People were bringing their little kids along with them to get their wine on before the race....yikes. The tasting room was nice as I said, large and full of wine to purchase and swag to buy. There were a number of different places in the tasting room (building), I think I counted five places you in different parts of the building you could taste wine. There is a bistro in a separate building, it seemed okay, we didn't get food. The wine was decent, but not stellar, so that is the four instead of five star from me. Worth a visit if you're heading up or down to Charlotte or just are in the area.

Had a lovely time enjoying a glass of wine in their open-air tasting room on a picture perfect afternoon, accompanied by live music. Service is always friendly and knowledgeable. Cheers!

He may have appeared not nice but when I visited he was so sweet to me. I circled back and did a tasting and it was great. They do cater to the dryer palate, which I love. It was lovely trying some of the familiar ones and during my tasting, I remembered why I loved this place. The ladies that assisted me in my tasting were very knowledgeable and had excellent conversation. It was such a pleasant experience. They did let me know that the vineyard will be sold in October and hopefully, someone will continue it on. It so chill and lovely and I don't want to see it go away. If you are in the Lexington area, it's just 15 min away from Childress. I always say to support local if you can. If I had the money, I'd buy it lol. I don't want to see it go away. And those that work here, love it. If you're in the area, check it out. Even if you think you don't like wine or have a sweet palate, they will accommodate. I'm glad I stopped in. Cheers! And if you're in the area, please check it out.
