Great place for an organized getaway gathering. Beautiful setting and such a pretty drive to get here from Winston Salem NC. Passing large tract farms with mountains off in the distance. Then when get to the hall at Sanders Ridge such a warm design and hosting. Backed by story of 180 years continual family farm now vineyard operations. Loved to hear how all the wood in the structure was remilled and touched by our hostesses' father's hand. A long lasting legacy. Possibly adding more to this later as hoping between vineyards.

This is such a beautiful location for a winery. It's a little out of the way and hard to get to if you're not familiar with the area. It is worth the drive though! I was pleasantly surprised at the size and exquisite rustic chic look of the main building. Just beautiful! They had a very nice food menu and I was told that their Sunday brunch is amazing. Their wines are delicious. I highly recommend doing a tasting!

It was the amazing fall views that originally drew me to this inviting little spot in the Yadkin valley, but a quick read through of their dining menu had me sold! Seasonal charcuterie (the best part was their dark chocolate truffles) Spicy tomato tortellini soup topped with sausage accompanied with bread for dipping Pulled pork pimento Mac and cheese topped with ranch Sanders turkey sandwich on a pretzel roll with melted Swiss, coleslaw, and thousand island dressing Warm, gooey pecan pie All of these delicious eats paired with their amazing wine list = the PERFECT fall day! The porch views and amazing, attentive staff weren't bad either. Now considered one of my favorite wineries in the state!

Sanders Ridge Winery is the perfect place for a relaxing afternoon drinking wine. Start your experience by driving past their vast, aesthetic vineyards. After parking walk inside (with your mask on). The friendly staff/owners (Shores) greet you upon arrival and are also wearing masks. Get ready to be amazed at the beautiful woodwork. They have a spacious interior with ample seating along with several outdoor areas. Everything happens on site from the growing of the grapes to the making and selling of the wines. We decided to sip the wine under their gazebo by the pond. They have new flight boards custom built from old wine barrels. While enjoying their flavorful wines, we fed the hungry bluegill fish in the pond (for a quarter). Here are the wines we tried: 2016 Viognier - tastes like eating a fresh apricot. Definitely bought a bottle of this. 2015 Cabernet Franc - earthy, flavorful, like eating an oak tree (but much more pleasant) 2015 Merlot - sour, flavor is comparable to sour cherries, too strong for my taste 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon - rich flavor, one of my favorites. 2019 Muscat Canelli - also bought a bottle of this. It was delicious, sweet with hints of apple and honey. They do host weddings so be sure to check their schedule before arriving - via their website or Facebook. When you walk in, they have pamphlets available with the wedding information and pricing. Due to COVID-19, they offer an affordable micro-wedding option. I have visited here in the past for dinner and had a great experience. We look forward to returning!

Visited this winery during a wine tour with friends. It was a great choice! The wine was good and they had varieties of different wines - white, red, rose. They also have a kitchen with food options as well, which was very good! Inside the tasting room, there is mostly all wood - like a huge cabin. The wood beams and bar/counter tops are made from the wood that comes from the actual property. That was an interesting fact! I believe a family member or friend carved all of the wood and had it installed. So it's truly a building from the land it's on! They also have ziplining right on the property! Didn't get a chance to do it, so planning to go back and have fun with that! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. They helped make decisions and choices a lot easier. Definitely try this winery out if you have a chance!

Worked a wedding in Nov 2022 and it was beautiful inside and outside. The staff was super friendly and accommodating.

Lovely winery with food. The Cab Franc was my favorite. Their apple crisp was really good too. The landscape is beautiful rolling hills of vines. I would come back here again!

Fantastic place to visit. The drive alone is so scenic. The restaurant is rustic and comfortable. Our server was excellent and incredibly accommodating. We, the 6 of us ordered 3 cheese board which were loaded with fantastic looking and tasting cheeses. We tried green fried tomatoes and pulled pork sandwich, salmon salad and a burger. The mango peach wine tasted Devine Definitely will come back

Beautiful setting and very nice service. We did a wine tasting and had a barbecue sundae on the porch. It was delightful. I will definitely be back.

She is knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and willing to have a nice conversation while doing our tasting along with another couple beside us. We loved all the wines we tasted, especially the sweet vermouth which was a surprise. We immediately joined the Enthusiast wine club. We took home 3 bottles of wine that day. After our tasting, which took about an hour, we had a reservation for lunch. We were seated inside the restaurant in front of a large window with a great view. We had the Mahi Mahi sandwich and Steak Diane. We also recommend the Tuna Carpacio appetizer and the goat cheese appetizer. We met the owners that day and have seen JW a couple times at our subsequent visits. We have also visited their sister winery, Rayson, and had a lovely time there as well. Nice people and good food enhanced our experience on my husband's birthday. Levi is another outstanding member of their team. We love both wineries and the staff is just fantastic at both!

We came for a wine pick up party which included lunch options such as ham, Mac & cheese, coleslaw with raisins, rolls, cake, greens, and wine. The rolls weren't soft. The majority of the food was ok. We also ordered a mahi burger with fries. The fish was overcooked, bland, and not flavorful & the fries were not hot. One member of our group told our server about our fries & she was apologetic & more fries were brought out but they were overcooked. You do get a discount off of the wine if you are a wine club member. You also get an option of bringing guests to the pickup party. I enjoyed the wines that I got the opportunity to taste & the atmosphere of the winery. The service was also good. The food was mediocre.

The vineyard was lovely and the building was cozy and welcoming with plenty of room to sit both inside and out. The gentleman behind the bar was helpful and friendly. We purchased a bottle of the Franc The Tank Blueberry - a sweet and tangy cabernet that had our tastebuds singing. I came to meet friends with whom we will continue on to a local farm stay for the weekend. We sat outside on one of their covered patios. We packed a lunch to have with a glass of their wine. The tasting room looks like a barn and is very welcoming inside. There are plenty of seats for everyone. The warm weather had me wanting a white wine with my lunch. I chose their pinot gris. It has a crisp taste with notes of citrus. On my first visit I had a flight of all their offerings. My favorites are the Sweet Pea white blend and the Franc the Tank red blend. The old tobacco barn across from the tasting room offers another space to hang out and enjoy the view. There is also an accommodation below that makes for a unique holiday experience.
