We very much enjoyed our Monday trip here. The stainless Chardonnay was the best I've ever had in any state and we ended up with a case- great price. The view is beautiful, so quiet and peaceful. Lots of outdoor space. Covid precautions were all in place which we appreciated. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and so knowledgeable. A 10/10 experience, I would recommend this place over any others in the area for sure.

This is my favorite vineyard in the yadkin valley wine region! Van, the wine maker and owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. Every time I'm in the area I make sure to stop by. There's a great wine for every palate (dry, sweet, semi- sweet.) Not only is the service great as the wine is, but there's an incredible view of the vineyard. If the weather is nice, there's a outdoor fireplace and patio to sit and enjoy then sunset. If you decide you want to stay the weekend in the area there's a beautiful rustic cabin right across the property!

So, I have a friend who is a sommelier and we were on vacation visiting family. We stopped by this winery because a family member suggested it. Now I do not like wine. So my friend, the sommelier, takes this as a real challenge. She's bound and determined to get me to like wine. First, the place is beautiful with sweeping hills topped with vines. The owner greeted us at the door and was very cheery and good-humored. Big surprise, I didn't like the regular wines. So my friend suggested ice-style wine. It was better than the others because it cut down the fermentation taste. However, they had me try the mulled wine and I actually did like it! So that's pretty impressive because I haaaate wine. So I suggest you try this place.

The vineyard was lovely and the building was cozy and welcoming with plenty of room to sit both inside and out. The gentleman behind the bar was helpful and friendly. We purchased a bottle of the Franc The Tank Blueberry - a sweet and tangy cabernet that had our tastebuds singing. We cracked her open a few nights ago and it was just as good the second time as it was in the glass while we sat and enjoyed our little party.

I came to meet friends with whom we will continue on to a local farm stay for the weekend. We sat outside on one of their covered patios. We packed a lunch to have with a glass of their wine. The tasting room looks like a barn and is very welcoming inside. There are plenty of seats for everyone. The warm weather had me wanting a white wine with my lunch. I chose their pinot gris. It has a crisp taste with notes of citrus. On my first visit I had a flight of all their offerings. My favorites are the Sweet Pea white blend and the Franc the Tank red blend. The old tobacco barn across from the tasting room offers another space to hang out and enjoy the view. There is also an accommodation below that makes for a unique holiday experience.

All the red wines leaned towards the dry side, which I enjoy. They are crafted in a traditional French style, with aging taking place in French oak barrels. She is knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and willing to have a nice conversation while doing our tasting along with another couple beside us. We loved all the wines we tasted, especially the sweet vermouth which was a surprise. We immediately joined the Enthusiast wine club. We took home 3 bottles of wine that day. After our tasting, which took about an hour, we had a reservation for lunch. We were seated inside the restaurant in front of a large window with a great view. We had the Mahi Mahi sandwich and Steak Diane. We also recommend the Tuna Carpacio appetizer and the goat cheese appetizer. We met the owners that day and have seen JW a couple times at our subsequent visits. We have also visited their sister winery, Rayson, and had a lovely time there as well. We came for a wine pick up party which included lunch options such as ham, Mac & cheese, coleslaw with raisins, rolls, cake, greens, and wine. The rolls weren't soft. The majority of the food was ok. We also ordered a mahi burger with fries. The fish was overcooked, bland, and not flavorful & the fries were not hot. One member of our group told our server about our fries & she was apologetic & more fries were brought out but they were overcooked. You do get a discount off of the wine if you are a wine club member. You also get an option of bringing guests to the pickup party. I enjoyed the wines that I got the opportunity to taste & the atmosphere of the winery. The service was also good. The food was mediocre.
