Stopped by to check it out, very pleased. Great scenic views, nice choice of wines. By the glass it's a little pricey, buy a bottle you'll be better off. Will definitely come back in the warmer weather.

We love Round Peak winery! They have amazing wine and beer selection. They also have an 18 hole disc golf course which is strategically laid out in their vineyards! Dog friendly & great views!

We came primarily for the beer tastings and overall they were decent, there were more light ciders and all of the beers I normally get were in cans and not on the tasting menu or flight. I guess two were the best was the jalapeño IPA, even though I don't like IPAs and the Marzen. There was only one guy working there and bless his heart he was in deep. The place was nice, dog friendly and nice place to sit.

The ambiance was beautiful on this fall day. The quality of the beers, cider, and wine were only okay. The servers working behind the bar were not very friendly given that you want to be inviting to all ! We won't add this our next wine tour. There are many other places to stop in and be treated better and enjoy

Flew over before enjoying a night at their camp-out. Highly recommend a visit!

We enjoyed one of their camp-out adventures. Had a great group with us. Enjoyed an evening of food and drink. Their wines and beers can fit anyone's palate. We camped out along the vineyard, enjoyed campfire singing, and breakfast/coffee in the morning. Beautiful spot for a sunset and lovely walk around the vineyard in the morning before departing.

Amazing selection of beers, coders and wine to enjoy on a quiet patio overlooking the vineyard. The cherry cider is amazing! The stout and amber beers are great too. Very pet friendly. If you are in the area stop by, you will love it!

Enjoyed this place tremendously! The tasting was well worth it. The wines were good the setting was beautiful. We were able to enjoy the beautiful view while enjoying the great wines.

Absolutely a beautiful place to get married.

We had our wedding here in 2013 and I cannot rave enough about the accommodations, the team here, the wine and just all around a blessing of a place for us and our family. We Often talk about how wonderful this place was for us and come back when ever we are back in state to restock some of our favorite wines.

My friends planned a visit to Round Peak, immediately I thought, I photographed a rehearsal dinner at Round Peak and I remembered that is was very scenic and they made delicious Chardonnay. My memory served me well. Right on the nose, we sat on the patio, watched the sun go down, tried delicious North Carolina wines. Round Peak serves their NC beer and wine. They offer something for everyone's palate. A perfect trip for the day or weekend in Yadkin Valley.

She is knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and willing to have a nice conversation while doing our tasting along with another couple beside us. We loved all the wines we tasted, especially the sweet vermouth which was a surprise. We immediately joined the Enthusiast wine club. We took home 3 bottles of wine that day. After our tasting, which took about an hour, we had a reservation for lunch. We were seated inside the restaurant in front of a large window with a great view. We had the Mahi Mahi sandwich and Steak Diane. We also recommend the Tuna Carpacio appetizer and the goat cheese appetizer. We met the owners that day and have seen JW a couple times at our subsequent visits. We have also visited their sister winery, Rayson, and had a lovely time there as well. Nice people and good food enhanced our experience on my husband's birthday. Levi is another outstanding member of their team. We love both wineries and the staff is just fantastic at both!

We came for a wine pick up party which included lunch options such as ham, Mac & cheese, coleslaw with raisins, rolls, cake, greens, and wine. The rolls weren't soft. The majority of the food was ok. We also ordered a mahi burger with fries. The fish was overcooked, bland, and not flavorful & the fries were not hot. One member of our group told our server about our fries & she was apologetic & more fries were brought out but they were overcooked. You do get a discount off of the wine if you are a wine club member. You also get an option of bringing guests to the pickup party. I enjoyed the wines that I got the opportunity to taste & the atmosphere of the winery. The service was also good. The food was mediocre.

The vineyard was lovely and the building was cozy and welcoming with plenty of room to sit both inside and out. The gentleman behind the bar was helpful and friendly. We purchased a bottle of the Franc The Tank Blueberry - a sweet and tangy cabernet that had our tastebuds singing. I came to meet friends with whom we will continue on to a local farm stay for the weekend. We sat outside on one of their covered patios. We packed a lunch to have with a glass of their wine. The tasting room looks like a barn and is very welcoming inside. There are plenty of seats for everyone. The warm weather had me wanting a white wine with my lunch. I chose their pinot gris. It has a crisp taste with notes of citrus. On my first visit I had a flight of all their offerings. My favorites are the Sweet Pea white blend and the Franc the Tank red blend. The old tobacco barn across from the tasting room offers another space to hang out and enjoy the view. There is also an accommodation below that makes for a unique holiday experience.

Their cocktails were abundant and there was a wide variety for every palate. You can get a cocktail to sip on throughout the tour as well as some popcorn to munch on. Kate was SUPERB at explaining the history of Mayberry Spirits as well as the distilling process at their facility. She also does the ghost tours in Mt Airy and we can't wait to go back and have her show us around downtown! The actual tasting after the tour was the most bang for your buck. We got to taste all all of their whiskeys that they make in house and then we got to play around and mix them with an assortment of bitters and juices. We got to taste an assortment of six for only $12! Lastly their gift shop is the cutest if you need a birthday/Christmas gift. We want to visit again just to bring home one of their cocktail kits. We are so glad we made Mayberry Spirits the first stop during our Mt Airy day to get the party started. A cheap and awesome way to spend the day!

We had the BEST time at Mayberry Spirits. This is probably the best distillery tour I've ever done…read more Our tour guide, Kate, was everything you'd want in a guide! She was extremely knowledgeable, personable, tons of personality and completely informative. I loved how they have a board showing the boiling points of the components in their spirits and they had tons of visuals (the sorghum they use in their whisky, two jars of different proof whisky that demonstrated the difference in appearance when shaken, pieces of the barrel components) it was very interactive, informative and fun! We were there a little early, so we got cocktails (which come with popcorn!) I love that they do have the cocktail option, because many distilleries offer only the spirits stand-alone (I can't hang) and I enjoyed the Dutch Apple Pie I ordered. I appreciated they even went a step further with super nice presentation of the drinks! You can take your cocktails into the distillery room and sip while you enjoy the tour. After the tour, we went back to the main area for a tasting! This was a treat. They have ample areas for the 4 groups doing the tour to taste. Our group of 5 gathered round the barrel to embark on the tasting. It has cute little Mayberry Spirits shot glasses already placed for us, along with a dump bucket & water. First, we tasted the 3 spirits stand-alone. I don't really like straight alcohol, but I enjoyed the vanilla whisky. After those, it's not over! We got to try several cocktail shooters. Some with Cheerwine, some with bitters (they had tons of flavors, everyone got to pick their flavor and add their own!) I really enjoyed the concoctions they presented! They had so many great gifts for purchase as well! They offer cocktail kits that include their spirits and all the necessary mixers! We all agreed we want to come back to get Christmas gifts! I was completely shocked at the value of what we got at Mayberry Spirits! The cocktails were $10 across the board - super reasonable, especially considering the quality/presentation. The tour and tasting was $12 total! I couldn't believe it. I wouldn't have been surprised if it was $20 considering the great 20-30 minute tour we got and the generous tasting, PLUS the souvenir shot glass! This was such a fun experience and a great place to go with a group!
