As a newer venue, they really have come a long way. Over the past year and a half, they have added a lot of amenities! One of the main reasons we chose to have our wedding here, was the fact that they have a rain plan which came in handy on our wedding day. The covered pavilion is huge and the garage doors can be down or raised. There is a beautiful fireplace feature under the pavilion as well. The outdoor ceremony space under the big shade tree is beautiful and the stone paved aisle is a nice touch. They do have AC and heat inside the pavilion but the space is so large it takes a while to cool down. The house across the street is available to rent for the entire weekend which fit our needs perfectly. My girlfriends and I were able to spend the night together in the house before my wedding day. The house has been beautifully remodeled and decorated nicely. Another feature that drew us to Mayberry Meadows was the gorgeous and spacious getting ready spaces. The upstairs is where the girls get ready and there is a ton of natural light, a huge bathroom, a coffee bar, mini fridge, the list goes on. Downstairs is the "man cave" with a full kitchen, bar, pool table, darts, large TV. The guys absolutely loved hanging out in this space on our wedding day. There is a door that separates the two spaces which keeps privacy intact. The venue is about a 5 to 8 minute drive from hotels and this was a huge plus when considering transportation for our guests. Gina and her staff work around the clock to make sure everything is taken care of. I would definitely recommend booking your wedding at Mayberry Meadows!

Never have I seen such genuine care, and effort taken to ensure the happiness of the couples and their families who have chosen to celebrate their special days with them. The property is absolutely breathtaking. Having everyone stay onsite made for a really special time opportunity to bring our families together. I came across The Barn at Cornerstone and contacted Kim immediately. I was stressed and in full panic mode but as soon as I talked to her she began putting me at ease. She explained that although the Barn was not quite completed she would do anything in her power to help make this work. The day I visited her, the barn had no electricity. We talked through it and decided to rent a generator. The barn was still in progress but was already beautiful and rustic and I could envision something truly special there. Kim and her husband, Ray, worked tirelessly and two days later when we arrived to decorate and rehearse, the Barn not only had electricity but beautiful chandeliers were hung. We had a wonderful rehearsal dinner outdoors at the lodge that evening. The setting was gorgeous and the grounds were lovely. Ray continued working on the barn up until the afternoon of the wedding and Kim attended to every detail and also coordinated with my caterer. She took so much work and worry off my hands and allowed me to enjoy every moment. We ended up having the most beautiful, intimate wedding that evening. Rain fell heavy on the roof of the barn as they took their vows. It was absolutely magical. I know that once the barn is complete it will be one of the best venues around. There are beautiful venues everywhere but you will be hard pressed to find people like Kim and Ray. I cannot express my gratitude enough.

The farm is set in the Appalachian mountains near the town of Roan Mountain, TN. The grounds are very well kept and the wedding took place down in the field and the reception took place in the barn area. The property has some really nice views of the mountains in the background. The venue has rustic farm decor and the interior of the barn is complete with white lights and chandeliers, so it's still very classy. There is also an outdoor area where they had cocktail tables set up that had the round bulb, white lights strung up everywhere. The venue had a separate area for the bridal party to get ready and also had a small commercial kitchen for food prep. I don't get the impression that this farm has been offering event services for long, but I'm sure it will become a very popular place to hold weddings, showers, and company events as more people learn about it.

Let me tell you this - We had that "Wowww" (in Owen Wilson voice) moment as soon as we walked onto the property. Every other venue we looked at was "pretty good" and we could make a list of pros and cons for them, but we absolutely, unequivocally, undoubtedly knew that Winter Wood Farm was the place we wanted to start our marriage from our first tour. This is a family owned venue, and without listing names, I'll say every member of the family we interacted with was absolutely amazing. They were quick to answer questions, there for us when we needed suggestions and ideas, and eager to do anything necessary to make sure our day was magical. For the first-time wedding crowd (and my ONLY wedding, let's be clear!), they were wonderful in helping with checklists, suggested timelines, and asking questions we would have never even thought of. The venue itself is absolutely STUNNING. We got married in October and it really was a dream wedding. The colors were perfect, the weather turned out amazing, and it was all beautiful. The staff at Winter Wood did an amazing and seamless job when it came to arranging things like chairs, tables, and the arbor, being set up exactly as we asked. Clean up expectations were reasonable. Compared to many other venues we toured, they were very reasonable when it came to expectations from the bride and groom. One thing I specifically disliked at other venues was how many of them have multiple security cameras inside (and more than one told us "we'll be watching the cameras all night." How uncomfortable!) I'm all for security for your business, but this is also a very personal event and I don't want to be in someone's home movie. I was happy to see Winter Wood did not have a ton of cameras, and instead chose to have a staff member present on site at all times (which was great for everything from coordinating vendors to our random last minute questions!) You can certainly call me biased since this is where I got married, but I would absolutely not hesitate to recommend others seek this as a wedding venue. The experience between not only the location and the design of the venue but more importantly the wonderful staff who run it made this a perfect experience!

The ceremony view of the amazing Virginia countryside with pond, hills and the changing fall trees was an amazing backdrop. With two sides enclosed, a fireplace and heaters the late night venue was cozy but yet open air (which can be important when pandemics threaten events). Melba made the event so easy for planning.
