The wine was pretty great too. Don't sleep on getting the blueberry wine. It was fantastic. Kind of tasted like a really good Manischewitz! We also had flights so we tried all of their white wines and and all of their sangrias! The fireplace is roaring which made the 20° weather even more fantastic!! They do have a great outside area with lots of games and places for the children to run. You can even get fish food to feed the fish in the pond.

This worked well for our family since some of my siblings are out of town. The only thing we brought with us were flowers for the tables. No clean up! We were given money back for the wine that wasn't opened which was $150-170. The employees that ran the cocktail bars and food were nice and professional, but the management people were hateful and unpleasant.

The farm is set in the Appalachian mountains near the town of Roan Mountain, TN. The grounds are very well kept and the wedding took place down in the field and the reception took place in the barn area. The property has some really nice views of the mountains in the background. The venue has rustic farm decor and the interior of the barn is complete with white lights and chandeliers, so it's still very classy. There is also an outdoor area where they had cocktail tables set up that had the round bulb, white lights strung up everywhere. The venue had a separate area for the bridal party to get ready and also had a small commercial kitchen for food prep. I don't get the impression that this farm has been offering event services for long, but I'm sure it will become a very popular place to hold weddings, showers, and company events as more people learn about it.

The first attempt at using the shower was shocking. It was too small for even my 8 year old! We tried to keep busy and spent very little time in the cabin, we basically just slept here. We left on Tuesday 11/22 and today we received an email stating they were charging us $257 in damages. I'm including costs. - $49 charge for dirty towels (they said they are stained) however, they are pictured on the cabin floor and weren't washed. - $49 to replace a broken curtain rod (nothing was broken, it looks like a ring slid off the end). - $159 for a snagged rug runner - that was Walmart quality, not wort $159. - $35 charge for trash removal - there were no instructions on what to do with trash so I took the two trash bags and put them on the front porch for easy removal. They said we broke a fishing pole but it was a cheap fishing pole that I purchased, used, and then discarded of because we didn't want to bring it home. This does not seem fair at all! We are in shock that a business would operate like this! This is not $257 worth of damage, this is robbery!
