    Wine Flight
    Jillian S.

Relaxing, beautiful winery with friendly, helpful employees. Tasted: Stainless Chardonnay: not too dry, crisp, light, refreshing Sangiovese: oaky, fruity, dry Cab Sav: oaky, not as dry Pros: -beautiful, relaxing environment -friendly, welcoming employees that are ready to provide recommendations as needed -pleasant music -employees wearing masks -outdoor seating and ordering available right beside the vineyards -very quick. We ordered and received the wine flight within 5 min Cons: -parking is tricky: few spaces and small road leading to the parking area (long, but narrow) Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend this winery to others!

Nice place. Very quiet and beautiful. The wine is dry which is what I like. I brought my wife here and we enjoyed a gorgeous day on the patio. Excellent! Even brought two bottles home. Would definitely return and recommend that others check it out.

Cellar 4201 is one of my favorite wineries in the area. They have an awesome assortment of reds, from the fruity Cherokee Red (a blend of merlot and cab) to the bigger, smoother Warrior. The owners are super nice people who always roll out the welcome mat. Even in the winter the patio is a great place to relax thanks to ample heaters. This winery is a must try if you're in the Winston area.

A small hidden winery with a cute outdoor seating area. The staff was very pleasant and made you feel welcomed. I really enjoyed the coffee chocolate that was paired with a wine and the pita chips were awesome. Very peaceful and relaxing. I would come again and recommend to others who want to relax with some wine.

This place is a must when checking out wineries in the Yadkin Valley! If you are a lover of good reds this is the place for you! Highly recommend the Warrior and Cherokee blends!

The wine tasting was an okay price- $11 for several wines and the glass. However, in my opinion, a few of the wines tasted similar to each other, and non really stuck out. It was a beautiful place, and they had good service, but I wasn't impressed with the wine.

Relaxing place to drink a variety of tasty wines…read more We tasted these wines: 2018 Viognier: Refreshing, no flavor 2018 Chardonnay: Dry, oaky, with a buttery finish 2017 Tres Cerise: Peppery, strong, not my preference, however, another customer bought 4 bottles of this wine 2013 Chambourcin: HIGHLY RECOMMEND. This wine is dry and spicy. It's perfect as is and makes an excellent mulled wine. I purchased their discounted gift bag of the chambourcin with mulling spices. 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon: good, strong, oaky cab sav 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve: cab sav with a whiskey finish - I also bought a bottle of this 2017 Olde Yattken: definitely clean and refreshing Mulled wine made with Chambourcin: delicious and relaxing They have multiple indoor and outdoor seating areas. We tasted the wines inside at the bar. It was nearly empty when we arrived on a Saturday and started to fill up as we finished. There seemed to be one employee working the indoor and outdoor areas. Even though she was busy, she did not rush us and greeted everyone in a friendly, relaxed way. We recommend this winery to others and would visit here again!

Unfortunately, the wine has not held up as well as I would've hoped throughout the years. This visit we chose to do flights of the drier reds, and sadly, nothing was really that recognizable. Most of the wines had a strange acidity that flashed more copper on the pallet than bright or deep red. Will definitely be back due to my previous affinity for their stuff, but I definitely hope for a different result.

Has indoor and outdoor seating along with a big covered venue for private events. They offer a variety of beer and wines. They have a good choice in food entrees and appetizers. I got the pretzel bites and deviled eggs. Both were phenomenal. The pretzel bites were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside served with beer cheese. The eggs were topped with pickled jalapeños. For my meal I tried the wings. They are baked then fried. They too were good! Staff was super kind and brought everything to our table. She also made sure our beers were full. Megan Doss was singing at this venue while we were there which made for a great evening!

We had…read morenever visited prior to their closure but were happy to begin seeing posts on Facebook that there was new ownership and a slightly different focus. After doing a bit of online research, we learned the former owners sold the property across the street to Incendiary Brewery, which ultimately opened their second location in 2022. This location has a long history dating back to the early 1970s, when it was the first winery in the state to grow and produce European grape varietals, such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. Westbend Winery made its mark in North Carolina as a pioneer in the wine industry that now includes over 130 wineries and continues to grow. The original Hauser House was built in 1850, renovated in 2016 and is where the current Westbend restaurant is located. Gone are the winery days, the focus is on the restaurant, bar and music venue space. Last weekend was the beginning of their soft opening, so we had to stop in. We arrived shortly after 4pm, we were happy to see there was a collection of cars in the parking lot area. We loved the look and feel of the property from a distance but were even more impressed with it as we began looking around. The building itself looks very cool and at least somewhat original. There is also a large covered outdoor space that could easily accommodate large groups of people. There were also several picnic tables arranged in the grass if you prefer. We decided to enter the restaurant area which is now called Graze Grill. We were immediately greeted by a young man who told us we could sit anywhere. We were looking for an outdoor space on the back deck that would allow us to sit in the shade while listening to the music. We were able to grab the last table and we were brought menus and our drink orders were taken. The menu itself was nice, it offered a selection of appetizers, entrees, salads, and desserts. From flatbread pizza and buffalo chicken wraps to cheeseburgers and loaded cheese fries. There are also kid-friendly food options as well. My wife chose the WB House Salad and added grilled chicken and I decided on a flatbread pizza which I was able to choose the various toppings. The music was also entertaining and the space was very relaxing and comfortable. We were checked on throughout our visit and everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. We also noticed their cool Westbend shirts, which my wife especially liked because they include "Lewisville, NC". The same young man offered to bring a shirt to the table for my wife to look at. She was happy with the texture and quality and decided she had to have one. He also told us they have additional swag ordered. We were really impressed with our first experience here and can't wait to come back as well as bring friends and family here when we have visitors. A great addition to the Lewisville area and Westbend absolutely compliments the other wineries and brewery in the area. We learned they are currently finalizing their operating hours and are currently open on Saturday's and Sunday's. However, they plan to be open from Thursday through Sundays. Their grand opening is scheduled for Labor Day weekend. Wishing the new owners all of the very best!
